We have been to the Mod Tomball location several times for lunch and it has always been great. Tonight we came for dinner and it was a big disappointment. I order gluten free pizza because of a gluten free sensitivity. Service was very slow. About 8 pizzas sat on the side table to go into the oven. The oven was empty. It took about 10 mins before any pizzas went into the oven. The two guys manning the pizza oven jumbled up the order papers to the 8 pizzas so they had no idea who's pizza was who's. My gluten free pizza ended up on someone else gluten contaminated paper and cut with the same pizza cutter as everyone else's. The counters and floors, tables all needed to be cleaned and soda machine didn't work with also meant you couldn't get water unless you paid for a bottle of water. read more

This was my 2nd time at Mod Pizza; I was with a large group of people so I was able to see all the great topping choices they have as well as their salads which look great! I've tried to give this place a chance, I've been there about 5 times, my pizza is usually burnt. Burnt to the point that it's all I taste when I eat the pizza. Last Saturday evening we had family in town so we decided to order four pizzas to go. We have been to this location many times before and we loved it. We always dine in, however that night we decided to get it to-go. Only one of the four pizzas was correct. We even double checked what we ordered to what we received and it was clearly MOD's mistake. Mod pizza has always been my favorite pizza spot. Even more than just pizza, they always have excellent customer service. A newer employee was training and my pizza was a bit over done more so than to my liking and they made me an entire new pizza with no complaints and they even apologized. I understand it was a newer employee and we all need to learn so no mark downs for that. They fixed the issue and took care of me straight away with haste. This is the fourth time we had the pizza from this location. Besides the poor customer service on the pickup order, the pizza was ice cold. The ingredients were sparse and not evenly distributed. Only one of the times did I feel we received a quality product. Needless to say I will not be getting any more pizza from this location, and I may give up on MOD altogether. read more

First off, excellent pizza, we've never had a problem - until today. We order online, and it take almost exactly the right time to drive to the location. Entering the store, I go to where the sign says "Pickup Online orders here." So I stand under the sign at the counter. I notice two boxed pizzas on the counter...the time is 6:25pm. The worker at the oven boxes up fresh orders for people who went through the cashier line. He says nothing to me, ignoring me until I finally asked if there was an online order for me. 6:40pm - the two pizzas on the counter were for me. 15 minutes. This location has lost MY business, but not for a bad product - it's for TERRIBLE customer SERVICE. I recommend a different location. read more

I ate at the MOD Tomball tonight around 8:45pm, they seemed really short staffed with only 3 people working and I was still able to get through the line in a reasonable amount of time given the situation. Although the lobby was a bit messy due to them being short staffed they were busy trying to push the ever growing line of people through, however the food was very good... as always. read more

Delicious pizza! They make it any way you want it (as many different types of toppings as you want) for one price. Great value! During rush hour there is a little wait in line, but it is so worth it! All fresh ingredients, and you can even get gluten free crust, and dairy free cheese, or everything in a salad bowl if you want it. The staff is super friendly and accommodating! We loved the idea of mod pizza but were very disappointed and frankly disgusted by finding lobg brown hairs in ALL THREE of the pizzas we ordered. We tried to complain about it and were hung up on 5 times in a row. Employees refused numerous times to tell us the managers name or even give us a number for corporate offices. We returned to location and saw two employees preparing food with long hair hanging over the make table. Its no wonder. The long haired kid running the oven was eating and chewing while boxing pizzas. There is no standard for customer service and no recourse for terrible service and substandard food. Hair in ALL THREE PIZZAS! GROSS. We spent over 40 dollars on food and received hair topping! Buyer beware, this place seems to be run by unaccountable children and we just cant get over tge hair in our food. Nasty! Avoid this location or gamble, your choice. read more

The food is delicious and all the staff is so friendly that we go to this location over the two other locations closest to us. After just a few visits Micha remembered us, and that we liked gluten free, and she went out of her way to come and talk to us, and make us feel welcomed as a repeat visitor when she was cleaning tables. We always feel like we are eating healthy because there is so many veggies to put on the pizza. Don't forget the spinach, fresh basil and artichokes! Yum! The service was as fast as advertised. It was my first visit and the lady behind the counter explained how their system worked really well. I made my pizza and got a beer, then received my pizza in less than 10 minutes. It looked great and I dug in but noticed an odd taste. I flipped it over and the majority of the bottom was completely burnt black. When I took it to the pick up counter I asked another employee if this was the normal way pizza was served and she said yes. I would not recommend this place solely based on their food. Pepperoni flavored charcoal is not my thing. read more

Talk about service...this guy treated us and every customer he helped as though he had known them forever and they were his top priority. Not only are the pizza's wonderful but this Mod Pizza understands customer service. I have an elderly Mom and she took a long time in line. The staff was sweet and patient. The manager noticed I got back at the end of the line for myself. He came over and made me a pizza so I would not have to wait again in the line. The staff here is RUDE! They have zero customer service. They do not know how to communicate with each other and raise their voices when someone tells them what to do. I went in one day and I assume it was someone in charge while a manager wasn't there, told specific people to stay in each area such as dough, meats, veggies, etc. and the one stationed at the dough got offended and yelled why. Zero stars! Okay I love mod pizza....BUT tomball location is a joke. They literally have no idea what they are doing... don't waste your money here go to any other location. Or they need to hire people that know what's going on. The lady couldn't even understand how to take my simple order. And mod Pizza super fast? Try coming in at 3:20there's nobody here and I'm taking my first bite of this burned pizza at 3:54. Then charged me 3$ for water???? I asked for fig sauce and the guy gave me chocolate. No other location does this. Please fix this store ASAP! Woodlands store is a huge difference from this store. Mod pizza is delicious! This is our 2nd time at this location and a third time to a different location in the last 5 days!!!! We are hooked!!!! Where else can one get gluten free, dairy free, healthy pizza ( full of veggies anyway you want it PLUS regular ingredients) in a fun atmosphere at such a reasonable price??? One price for as many toppings as you want! The restaurant was clean, new, bright and modern. The ingredients were plentiful ,and very high quality, and tasty. (Fresh roasted veggies too) The restaurant was full of patrons, both times we went, but the line moved quickly. Pizzas only take 4 minutes to cook. The servers making the pizzas (to order) were friendly, personable and funny too ! When we were sitting down one of the servers (Myla) remembered our name, and came and checked on us by name, and was genuinely interested in our experience and serving us. Wow! She went above and beyond. Then the manager (Britton) came over and we told him how impressed we were and what great food and service we had received. When we started asking questions about the company he actually sat down and told us about the philanthropy of the company, explained the pictures on the wall , AND told us where the names of the pizzas came from. What a passionate, excellent, representative for the company. We THROUGHLY enjoyed talking with him as he rounded off the whole dining experience.
