One of my favorite pizzas. I like the thinner crust and designing my personal pizza. Fun atmosphere!

This place is AWESOME. Myself and my boyfriend have drove past this place so many times and always want to go in. However the smell of sonic always seems so pull us away. Not today! The customer service is amazing. Very laid back, and kind workers. As an avid ranch eater, it's the WORST when a pizza place doesn't carry ranch, however today I didn't just get one cup of ranch, I GOT 2 PEOPLE. As for the actual pizza. I'm a lover of thick, fluffy crust and have never liked thin crust. Today my life was changed. The crust is thin, crunchy, flaky, buttery, and actually just amazing. I will be back over and over and over again. I wish I knew the guys name working the front so I could give him recognition for his awesome costumer service. read more

Love love love MOD pizza. Hate hate hate the wait. About the only thing I can say bad about MOD. Lines are long, which is a double edges sword as it means a lot of people want to eat there because its good. Usually get the Calexico. I switch out red sauce for white sauce. And switch out garganzola for asaigo. With the franks red hot squirted on after baking, it makes buffalo wing pizza. And the blackberry lemonade is delicious. read more

Great idea, reasonably priced and pleasant staff. Enjoyed the pizza but my friend and I both found strands of hair in our salad. Just kind of ruined the experience. The floor needed sweeping and remained unswept for the hour we spent there. read more

WORST MOD PIZZA LOCATION I HAVE BEEN TO! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! SO DIRTY, CLEAN UP YOUR DINING AREA! Oh how I love MOD Pizza but this location gets the lowest rating. There were spills all over the tables, the drink and utensil bar, and the garbages were packed full. Bits of food and trash covered the floor, it was disturbing. To be honest, I absolutely hate eating anywhere that is so dirty but what I detest even more is very rude customer service. There is NO EXCUSE for treating your paying customers poorly, which brings me to my next complaint, the odious MOD Pizza worker. I stood waiting at the pick up area while a short blonde was chatting up what seemed to be an acquaintance. As she spoke with the other customer, I noticed it was the only time since being there that she didn't seem ABSOLUTELY miserable, then she says with such irritation, carelessness, and loud enough for other customers to hear, "Yeah we're DISGUSTINGLY busy right now." Then when the chatting acquaintance left she pretended to ignore me until I requested help with an item. She continued to not acknowledge me and tossed the items toward me without the slightest bit of courtesy. Terrible customer service is enough for me to completely avoid this location in the future and mention this awful interaction as often as possible. read more

I worked for mod pizza for 3 years as a captain at this location and what u encountered today was insane. First off there's a huge line, it's 9pm 2 hours before close, one kid is running the line and oven and register, the rest we're trying to close as fast as possible ( I remind you I know exactly how this goes ) two people in the back, one person In the lobby putting chairs up already ( 2 hours before close ) and one kid making his own pizza to go home with as one kid with the Kermit hat did all the work.. it got so busy that a girl I assume the captain hopped on the oven, when my pizzas were done she slammed them on the counter and when I asked for bbq sauce it looked like I just ruined her whole year lol. The first bbq sauce container was empty and she threw it across the kitchen into a trash can.. The whole container lol. I know those cost money. Anyways terrible experience y'all need to train them how to smile lol read more

Now this is what I'm talking about, creativity modern spaces and a great product. Being the pizza snob that I am with six years of past experience in the pizza industry I always going to new pizza restaurants with a slightly jaded attitude. My biggest complaint for some restaurants is that they use precooked sausage ingredients, in this particular instance I understand the need for precooked sausage as their pizza oven is so hot that it cooks quickly and the sausage would not cook properly. The fact they do use precooked product did not detract from my experience. This was a spear of the moment visit, I walked in and the restaurant was busy, I was greeted gleefully from the staff and I was impressed by the fact that everything was right there in front of you. the make table with all of the ingredients the menu board above and when I ask so what's the gig they gladly showed me and told me how it was. I ordered what they consider their medium pizza everything is thin crust so if you're looking for thick crust go elsewhere. They offer a gluten-free crust which I don't have a need for but it is a growing trend. All the items were fresh and the dough was pressed right in front of me. the pizza itself was excellent. The tomato sauce that I got on my pizza was great the flavor of the pepperoni good, the spicy sausage had a good flavor and they use a very high butterfat content cheese which makes it stringy and really freaking good. Apparently they make salads to the one that I saw the UPS guy carrying looked really good but when I go to pizza place sell it is not what I want but there's a healthy option for those that do. In talking with the staff i discovered that it is a family-owned franchise type restaurant which didn't bother me. the I got the pizza was excellent and I had every intention of bringing home at least half but I couldn't put it down I kept eating it and all of a sudden it was gone. All in all, $10.41 for a medium-sized pie )a 10 inch pizza and a soda) I will definitely go back for lunch and will definitely bring my family and friends here for lunch and dinner. read more

We discovered Mod Pizza about a month ago and have gone like 10 times since. My parents love love love the pizza. They get XXX on toppings. It fills my dad and boyfriends hollow stomachs and my mom and I can usually share one, with whatever we want on it. Or get a little 6 inch and be full and happy. They have real lemonade (only thing my bf will drink) and delicious knots. The atmosphere is very happy and every time we go in we see a lot of the same workers which is something I enjoy to see. I got my soda, sat down, looked at my phone and looked back up and they were bringing my pizza out. However with the XXX toppings it does take longer, but no one is complaining! When my family and I find a delicious place to eat we share it with everyone we know. We took my grandma, uncle and my brother and when we have a chance we will share it with the rest of the family. My birthday is coming up in mid November and I'm thinking about going to Mod Pizza for dinner. Cannot go wrong with make your own pizza. Mod can please everyone's picky taste. read more

So I've been to a few of the Mod's in the Seattle area and I was very excited to hear about them putting one in Vancouver. I've been in several times now so I think it's finally time I gave it a review. The Staff: For starters I would just like to say their employees are amazing They always give me a geniune greeting when I come in.The atmosphere is always light which is helpful after a long day at work. You can always find them joking around with customers and each other getting people to laugh and ensuring they have a good experience. My favorites are (sorry I'm terrible with names) the girl with the orange hair, Rain (the girl with the mohawk), Jess/Jaz? (the girl with the really big gauges), Stanley (the older gentleman who sings...loudly), and Sydney (the girl with the tattoos). The staff here seems very diverse and eager to make things right if you're unsatisfied (the first time I came, my pizza was missing toppings so they gave me a free pizza coupon and remade my original pizza correctly) The pizza: Okay for crazy pizza lovers, I won't say this place is the best pizza I've ever had BUT with the ability to add the all the topping you want without the price being ridiculous is a pretty damn good reason to keep me coming back. They tell you before hand that it's thin crust and when they say thin, they mean thin. Not wafer thin but pretty thin. The mini pizzas are nice for the kids or when you're looking for a quick snack on a lunch break. JUST make sure to let the cashier know you ordered a mini because you'll get over charged if you don't (my fault, not theirs), Did I mention as many topping as you want? Frickin sweet. $7.77 for as many topping as you want. Madness. That includes extras. Jess/Jaz and Sydney aren't afraid to go heavy on the toppings if you ask them to. My only issue I have is that is you don't specify extra cheese, the amount they put is kind of light. Overall good pizza, not the best for take home and eat the next day, and definitely do not order the knots if you don't plan on eating them within 10mins or so because they get hard pretty quickly. Did I mention they have gluten free crust? it's delicious. I'm not a big fan of the whole gluten free movement but I did give it a try and it was flavor full and I can't lie definitely more filling than the regular crust. Atmosphere: Okay if you aren't a part of the younger generation you might consider this place to be... LOUD. From the blasting radio, the staff shouting their lingo at each other, Stanley singing, and names for orders getting called out, this place reaches quite the volume. It mostly depends on what time you're coming in as well, mornings are slower and you can get in and get out in under 5 minutes whereas nights a hectic and sometimes the line can be almost out the door. Also it helps if you're in a rush at night if you call ahead for your order. Cons: They don't deliver. This is by far the biggest bummer of them all considering I work and live in the surrounding area. Football sundays and staff meeting/lunches it would be great to have their pizza delivered. Also sometimes they mess up the pizza, either they forget to add a topping or they leave on a topping you didn't want. But like I mentioned earlier normally they catch the error before you get your pizza and they will always happily fix the mistake for you. it's just that few extra waiting minutes (still faster than dominoes or pizza hut). I will say they've only messed up one of my pizzas in the 5 or 6 times I've been in. So they've gotten better about it. So ultimately: Pros: Great staff, fun atmosphere, good pizza, great price. Cons: They don't deliver, and sometimes they mess up. read more

Very disappointing. I don't understand all the positive reviews as this pizza was nothing special at all. Ordered the Dominic because we usually really like white sauce on pizza but this was completely tasteless and had thin consistently. I threw mine away and the hubby had to salt his. Delicious pizza! When you walk in the place looks like a bar from Portland, lots of metal and wood. A whole portion of the wall facing the road are garage doors! There were lots of options for what to put on your pizza. Its a great place if you just want to sit down and enjoy some good pizza. It's does take a little long to cook but they use a full on fire to cook it so that negative is canceled out by that positive. Overall it's an amazing place! read more

Nom nom. Who doesn't love pizza? I know I do. I'm generally a pizza purist sticking with the OG pepperoni wherever I go, but this place makes me want to branch out since you can get unlimited toppings for the same price! I generally get the mini because it's the perfect lunch portion for me. The dough is thin and crisps just perfectly once cooked in their delicious wood fire stove. The toppings are abundant and you can create just about anything. The artichoke hearts are MM MM DELICIOUS! It's too bad I'm usually on lunch from work when I frequent, because there's nothing better than pizza and beer. Guess I'll give to come sometime after work to indulge in that. Literally the best pizza I have had. Fantastic Gluten free options that are delicious!! Pizza is my favorite so we've been to a lot of places, but Mod Pizza is by far the best bang for your buck and so so good! My husband couldn't taste a huge difference between the gf crust and their regular crust. The staff was so helpful and attentive, and even checked on us after our meal. Great place!! read more

Finally got the chance to make the drive to the East side of town to try this place out. I love it! I like how for one price I can put on as many toppings as I want and customize it to my liking. I opted and got the 11 inch pizzas. Within 10 minutes of getting there I was on my way out with hot fresh pizza. Customer service was excellent. Especially from employee Ciera. I'll be back for sure. If we had a MOD Pizza on the West side of town I'd probably be in every week! High recommend this place. Prices are fair as well. read more

The biggest problem with Mod Pizza is that it doesn't really taste like pizza. The crust is an overdone saltine cracker with hardly any cheese to speak of and a small scattering of toppings. Maybe a flatbread, but not a pizza. I like the concept a lot, but it could be better executed. Pretty pricey too. read more

Stopped here on the way home from work for the first time, after multiple friends and coworkers had mentioned about how good they are. I was disappointed to say the least. They are known for making custom pizzas (like subway for pizza?) but they also have a few "premade" options. I ordered the Dillon James which is basil, garlic, tomato, and Asiago cheese. It's one of the few pizzas they are supposed to know how to make. I should be able to say "I'll have the Dillon James" and they know what to put on it. This is where I was disappointed. I was picking up custom pizzas for two other people so I ordered mine and the guy was making it while I told the other worker to put on the other pizza. I shouldn't have had to tell him what went on the Dillon James. Now, I get home and open my piping hot pizza (which I'm glad for since I have a long drive home) and I see it has a tiny bit of basil seasoning and a couple whole tomato slices. No Asiago, no cooked garlic cloves no fresh basil. Which I know they had because I saw it. I was starving and had already gotten home so I wasn't going back, so I cooked up some garlic and threw it on there with some feta cheese. The crust... tasted like a saltine cracker. Bad experience aside, I may be willing to try them again. read more

Eat here! We had the Tyler and #7 11" pizzas. They were to our liking and more! The fire cooked crust was both soft and crispy! And the toppings....Wow!....they are so fresh and delicious!!! You are not limited to any number of toppings or to just what they have on the board. You can mix and match, add and remove, it's great! You will not be disappointed! This review is based off of a dairy free cheese pizza. I know dairy free and pizza don't mix, but you gotta do what ya gotta do. The topping options and sauce where great. I would bet they use daiya dairy free cheese which is not great. Wish they would switch to Solicious cheese as I have seen other shops do that offer a dairy free option. Heard about this place from a co-worker, who said all sorts of good things about it, so we gave it a shot today for lunch. Our experience was positive and my daughter said it was her new favorite restaurant. Staff was super friendly, pizza was done quickly, and arrived hot and delicious. We both ordered a pretty hefty variety of toppings, and pizza was loaded with goodness. Tons of delicious veggies and not overly saucy or weighted down by cheese. Great place for a vegetarian - you can put together an awesome pie. And all those veggies made it feel like it qualified as healthy dining. (Kid eating her veg and enjoying it = mommy bliss.} I've always been a pan pizza kind of person, and here the crust is definitely more thin-crust, or cracker-like, but we enjoyed it regardless and gobbled up ours with no quibbles. (Variety, as they say, is the spice of life!) We will definitely be back for more. Oh, and lemonade was also delicious! Two thumbs up from both of us! read more

Unsatisfactory. My first experience at this Mod Pizza location. I ordered online- two small specialty pizzas and a brussel sprout salad. All were disappointing. Minimal ingredients such as sauce, flavorless, even the salad had a few scraps of brussel sprouts on it. I got a courtesy call from the pizzeria a day later. When I described how disappointed we were and why, they suggested it's better to not order online. That we should come in and order next time. Sorry, but there will not be a next time for us at this location. Chkalov location was a much better experience. read more
