Pizza is same at all locations, however Vernon Hills location service is by far slowest and worst. 2nd time picking up here and both times - zero acknowledgment from the staff while trying to pickup. The guy who slides the pizza in the oven has AirPods while working, and the black guy with glasses - tosses you a plastic bag for the four pizzas I ordered at the "online order pickup" kiosk. Very professional and way to show you care.

Been seeing this chain left and right, and thought to try it since our kids like pizza. The menu on the wall didn't have a lot of good options to me, so I just picked the JASPER and TRISTAN to try. The pizza is really small, but they are pretty tasty. I added pineapple to Jasper, and black olive to Tristan with pesto sauce and garlic butter. The balsamic fig sauce was pretty good. The garden salad was a bit disappointing. But overall I would say for the price $50 and the amount of food, it's totally not worth it. Again tho, the pizza was tasty and very fresh.

In Illinois one of my favorite places to eat make my own pizza. Always my pizza is different not the same off the shelf one with same flavor. I have loved all the different toppings, sauces and add on sauces. I have only been to Vernon Hills location the people working there are very friendly & helpful. They helped me pick a sauce with tastings. I actually mixed couple of sauces mixed them and poured as a base with garlic then added various other toppings and once they cooked it I added siracha+ranch which was a fun toss. Will definitely visit again

Good food. You can pick and choose your toppings. Service was nice. Chill place with space for groups to eat specialized pizza and salads.

You get a pizza for 13 bucks with unlimited toppings. It's a self-service place, chef bake fresh pizza in coal fire.

Amazing location.... Super awesome service. It was my husband's bday.... Pizza being his favorite, I wanted him to cut pizza instead of cake...And I wanted toppings to be in the number shape.... The sever was super helpful & patient with my request & also suggested some color combos to make it looks pretty will highly recommend this location. Ambiance is like a regular Mod pizza.

To me, MOD pizza offers a lighter alternative to your average pizza place. When you dine in, you also have the ability to create your own pizza up close and personal. Today, we chose to have it delivered. I paid extra for the "mega dough"! However, I was left slightly disappointed when I opened the pizza box to find regular dough. Other than my dough, never truly rising. The pizza was tasty, and delivery was on time!

Love MoD pizza, they have the best selections of toppings as well as cauliflower crust options. I like that fact that they already have a pre-made sriracha ranch available to dip your pizza with. The place is clean and good customer service and during Covid restrictions it's nice to know that they have patio dinning available.

Best great fast food pizza and sorta healthy depending on what you put on your pizza. The staff is very friendly and very efficient. It takes around 5-7 minutes to cook in the hot oven, and bam your pizza is ready. It's a very convenient place for fast food pizza and a plus is the bajillion of toppings to put on your pizza! There is something for everyone here, and pizza (mini, MOD or Mega) size. I would recommend that you don't put more than 5/6 toppings depending on the weight so it doesn't weight down the slice when you eat it! The staff is very accommodating. My mother was vegetarian, so they changed their gloves before serving her! Def recommend!

I really liked the selection of ingredients, however the flavor fell flat. May have been the executive chef "moi"I'll try again and keep it simple. Excellent customer service .Upbeat ,cute place also an area outside to eat before Jack Frost comes . My pizza had arugula , basil, oregano, sundries tomato, spicy sausage, black olive ,roasted garlic, red onion, anchovy, red sauce, Asiago , Parmesan. Sounds amazing was just ok. Lot of food was pleasantly stuffed on half of two generous slices . And the lucky winner for the leftovers was my eldest who said the roasted garlic was literally crack . They also give you a choice of six drizzles for the topping if you wish. I tried this mod in Northbrook and if my memory serves me I had the glue ten free crust which I preferred over this cracker crust. They also have an outdoor area as I mentioned earlier and serve beer with an array of different drinks and juices. I will try it again with the vast variety I'm sure I'll find a hit!!

Parking is street parking but there are parking lots all around so we just parked in one and walked over. Upon arriving we were quickly seated. The table was a bit dirty but we just used a baby wipe to wipe it down as it took a while for someone to come over to us. We had to go to the bar to track someone down in order to get a kids menu because they didn't give us one despite asking if we needed one We ordered the buffalo wings to start, it was super hot but the flavors were there. I was only able to eat one because it was a bit too hot for me but that's okay. For our pizza we tried 2 different ones. One regular pizza and one motor city style. The Maa Pie was delicious! It was sweet and savory and the toppings were well spread on every bite. What I did struggle with was how doughy the crust tasted for it being a thin crust but overall a great pie! We also tried the Works. It was great and fluffy, plenty of toppings perfectly baked. As we were eating we needed napkins and some silverware but had to run to the bar to get someone to bring some over. The turn off was that all the staff was standing there staring at us as they were talking about one of their tables in a negative way. While they weren't talking about us, they were talking about another family with a kiddo and I can only imagine how I'd feel if I could hear them talking about us. Overall the food was great, bathrooms were clean but the service was lacking this experience but I'm not sure if that's how it always is? I'd also highly recommend cleaning the menus before giving it to folks, both of the menus we received had food stuck to it and tomato sauce (I think?) all over the inside.

The wait staff recommended having cheese in the crust, but we said maybe next time. I enjoyed the crispy crunchy edges and the dough was light and airy. We split the crispy Brussels sprouts with bacon and an order of meatballs. Our food came out quickly, and tasted great! Staff was friendly and helpful.

The peanuts in the shell are still a bit strange to me, but it's part of the old school ambience that gives it character while some patrons at the bar go with just drinks and peanuts. I kinda get it. They brings you shelled peanuts right away to your table. So if you have a peanut allergy (don't go!) as I was walked to the table the peanut shell were under my shoe making it a slight slipping hazard. Yep! This is how they take me out. The wait staff are friendly though. The offered suggestions on what to eat and what to avoid (weird) and I just stuck with the pizza. That is good because it was so dark, I used my phone as a flashlight to read the menu that had bits of peanut inside it. The sausage pizza arrived and I took a bite. I had to pause. Not because it was good. It was fine. Because I couldn't understand the taste. Is that wine in the sauce? Maybe too much fennel in the sausage? I am not sure. But I can say, for the price I was about to pay, I am going to eat it. I am sure there are other people who love it, but this place is not for me.

They are changing name to El Poblanito per ads on the pizza box. Will they serve only Mexican food? Will they still continue to serve custom pizza? Anyhow, decided to check out their menu. They had the lunch special 10" pizza with 2 custom toppings with soda for $9.99. Even though it's 4pm, their online portal still let you order it so I did. I think they should continue this glitch because i would be that customer that continues to order this way. The check out process is through Slice, and they generated a text message and email receipt. Don't be surprised to see a "support local fee", which I'm perfectly happy to pay extra for. They use Apple Pay also, so pretty convenient. Text tells you when the order will be ready and you get another text for when it's ready for pick up. The pizza is pretty standard and generic. Everything tasted fresh and what you would expect. The ham is very thin, likely just sandwich deli cuts. Pineapple chunks are large and intact, though I probably would've preferred the pineapple to be more burnt than just warmed but it retained juice well when it's not over cooked. Nothing too special about the cheese, not high-grade mozzarella just regular ones. Dough is not high gluten so it's not very chewy, which is fine for the kids, the prefer it not too much chew. The pizza is not too greasy so the bottom is not too charred. The crust is not ultra thin, so about half an inch. Overall very standard fast food pizza you'd expect. It's pretty standard for the price for a lunch special too. I think having this lunch special option is pretty attractive, because I would probably continue to order ham/pineapple and will also try Italian beef/giardiniera combos.

This is a family owned restaurant and from the second we walked in, it felt so warm and homey. My daughter had a bloody nose and the owner first thing asked if we needed an ice pack and was so kind. We weren't even aware she was the owner at the time. Later on in our meal she came by to check in to see how my daughter was doing as well as how the food and our dining experience was. Our waitress, who was one of the owners daughter was extremely attentive and warm. Throughout our meal she would check in to see how things were and if she could take away any of our plates. Service was phenomenal. Now onto the food. Started with the garlic bread and grilled octopus. Garlic bread had a nice crunch exterior and softness in the middle. It was buttery and garlicky and good. The grilled octopus was super tender and had a char to it. I personally prefer more of a char but it was still very good. The tomatoes were slightly blistered and again, for my tastes would have preferred a little more char but I would easily order it again. Pasta dishes came with a choice of lemon chicken chowder or minestrone. Both soups were pretty chunky and had good taste. The margarita pizza dough was nice a chewey with a slight char from the brick oven. It was a little wet for some reason but tasted good. The spaghetti with bolanese had good flavor and the sauce was quite hearty. Overall you could tell from all the dishes that they were made from scratch. Bontà really delivers on food and service. I can't wait to come in for lunch to try their sandwiches. Parking is plenty as they are located in a strip mall.
