This store sent me the wrong tile color and didn't take it back. They also gave me advice to pick up grout from Lowe's since they didn't have a color that matched well. The grout haze wouldn't come off after 3 attempts by my contractor. Moda Marble said afterwards that I used the wrong grout! They said that there were instructions in the boxes. Granted there were, but I never thought to look because they already told me which grout to get. They took no responsibility and didn't seem to know their products. I absolutely hate looking at my bathroom floors and I have wasted thousands of dollars installing them and now have to rip them out. They ghosted me when I asked them to at least give me a refund for the boxes of extra tile I have left over. Here's a photo of the tile in the showroom and the one they sent with the awful grout haze that won't come off. Clearly it's several shades too dark. This was a terrible experience! read more

So glad I found this place. I wanted to support a small local business. I didn't know what I wanted at all when I went in here. All I knew was I would know it when I saw it and my two bathrooms and kitchen were gutted to the studs and I needed to make some choices. And I knew I didn't want what everyone else was buying and I didn't want the stuff I saw at Lowe's and Floor and Decor. Deniz was so knowledgeable and patient. I spent so much time in that store I miss it now that it is all done. Deniz was so communicative with me, helped me feel secure in what I liked. She even said I had a flair, when previously I felt like the only taste I have is my mouth. She was very patient with my contractor who was very rude to her. I'm so happy with the end result of how my home came together. At one point she even hand delivered cases of tile to my house after her driver had a problem with his vehicle. I have shopped locally for my downstairs remodel at every place you can shop locally and then some. Moda employees are actual designers and only stock unique and special product in a variety of price ranges but mostly mid to high end. It might be smaller than most showrooms, but its the best of the best. I was usually weeding through tons of mundane product in other stores. But at Moda it feels like every sample was worth consideration. I felt every step of the way they understand how difficult and personal and permanent these choices are and they absolutely make you feel that they care about the final outcome of your project, not just the sale. In fact I was never made to feel the sale was their priority. It seems they operate on a rare to find philosophy that if they do the right thing, sales will follow. I shopped other places where you got the sense that they just wanted to make the sale, or they just punched in a time card. At Moda they recommended I buy a box of my flooring to make sure I really liked it. While at the place down the street I was told it would just look like the picture on the back of the sample and to just order it because it would look like the picture (picture on back of the sample was not the same color, only the same style). Honestly! I am a 4-year degreed designer by training, but stopped working when my first chid was born. They were the best I encountered in my whole experience of remodeling my downstairs after water damage. They were great. All of them. Pop in for sure. read more

Moda Marble provided the travertine for our pool decking, and we had an excellent experience. Their representative, Deniz, is pleasant, professional and responsive, even on off hours. And more importantly, I believe I got the best deal out there on the stone, and I did a lot of shopping. They don't have a super fancy showroom, but who cares. Their warehouse was local so no long delays, and when I needed extra special last minute orders Deniz came through 100% for me and solved all problems causing no delays in our installation. After visiting my local (San Diego) tile/stone stores and feeling disillusioned by prices and order lead times, I happened to stumbled upon Moda Marble. I am really glad I did! Deniz responded immediately to all my e-mails and text with advice, pictures, prices, and availability. Her answers gave me enough confidence to make the hour and 20 minute trek up to Orange County. I was not disappointed. My wife and I purchased large marble squares for the floor and two different styles of accent marble for our shower. Then, to top it off, we were able to purchase a marble vanity top to match. The stone and vanity have been installed and look beautiful. We've been getting rave revues from everyone who visits (even the tile setter commented on how nice the material was). To top it off, Deniz contacted us a few weeks later to find out if we were satisfied with the product.
