Modern Cone has been around for a while and sets themselves apart from other shops with a modern, whimsical atmosphere and their unique stacker sundaes, ice cream tacos and nachos, and more! Their freezer is filled with ready-to-go cakes or even slices if you just need a small treat. I had reached out to the owner back in 2018 for a local school donation and she was willing to help and so generous. I love supporting small businesses with a big heart. Their treats are delicious and their staff is friendly and efficient, even with a line out the door. Highly recommend!

So cute inside, sometimes it can get busy but the service is always fast and line moves quickly. Stackers are pretty big and can be split amongst two people. Very yummy ice cream.

The service was great that was very helpful. The ambience was so cool and the idea that they had especially the emergency scooper! I honestly didn't expect the ice cream be so big all of their food was huge!!!

I saw this ice cream place on TikTok. I knew when I was in town that I HAD to go! Not far outside Detroit and located in a strip mall so easy parking. I tried their ice cream nachos which is an amazing concept! You have to let the ice cream melt slightly to truly enjoy. If you don't want to wait, they also serve these with their soft serve as well. Service was wonderful and ice cream was tasty. I can't wait to come back and get a slice of ice cream cake!

Every once in a while I get the urge to have some ice cream. My wife loves ice cream. So this is our place. There is quite a few flavors to choose from. I'm very basic but o like what I like. Today I had vanilla soft serve with hot caramel. The ice cream is smooth and doesn't melt quickly. The caramel is not overly sweet and didn't melt the ice cream. My wife choice was the Tennessee toffee looks good and she really liked it said she would get again. The service was great and the seating area was clean.

Great service! Their staff is super friendly and patient! I stopped in with my grandkids and son to try the ice cream nachos. Every one was pleased. We also had a lemon cheesecake cone! We'll definitely return. There's plenty of parking right outside the door!

Stopped in for some ice cream, all the staff were super helpful to make sure we got what we needed. Loved the strawberry cheesecake shortcake stacker, so basically an ice cream parfait, so the sauce and toppings are layered in. The strawberry sauce was great not too sweet or syrupy. Nice pieces of cheesecake. The Affogato was good, specially once the ice cream melted into the espresso. I would be curious to try the other styles of this since we just got the classic. Very fun and cute style for an ice cream shop.

Had to visit after seeing it on tiktok enough times! We went on a Saturday closer to the evening and were expecting/met with a line basically out the door! Even though we were expecting this and ready to wait, they were running this line so beyond efficiently, that we were in and out in less than 10 minutes. Everyone working there was so kind and patient with everyone while still keeping everyone moving. I had asked to get a sample of the Mackinac Island Fudge ice cream before settling on a flavor, and the girl gave me a very generous sample, and I ended up loving it! Not too sweet, the pieces of fudge adding the perfect hint of sweetness! I ended up getting the personal nachos with the Mackinac Island Fudge ice cream, carmel sauce, and pecans as the topping and it was absolutely delicious. The nachos were delicious, there were plenty of waffle chips, and they were nice and crisp, even towards the end, they were still crisp! For me personally, I would say that two people could honestly split the personal size, but I saw most getting it just for 1. As you can see, there's plenty of options for ice cream flavors, so something for everyone! Prices were honestly great, I was expecting them to be more seeing as they're so popular, but they weren't bad at all! They also had some baked goods like cookies, brownies, etc. as well as coffee. In terms of seating, there's 3 booths inside that fill up quickly, otherwise there's some tables outside. Overall great experience, will be back again!

Modern Cone is but isn't like any other Ice cream shop. I was looking for something sweet yet different and when I stumbled upon modern cone I didn't think I was going to be disappointed. I ordered the s'mores stackers and the strawberry shortcake one. A stacker is ice cream two toppings and like a "sauce" like caramel, chocolate, marshmallow crème, etc. you can get the option of scooped or soft serve ice cream and they have about 32-36 flavors of different ice cream. Inside the place was super cute there are a few tables to sit and eat at. The service was pretty fast and the employees were nice and helpful. 10/10 definitely coming back and trying the dessert nachos
