I Postmated a pickup order from here and when I walked in to get it the person behind the counter was incredibly rude. They are about 8 minutes from our house. I called in a pre-order of 2 dozen blueberry donuts for an event. They took the order the day before and when I came in the next day, it was ready and boxed. They had one blueberry donut left and we were able to grab it for our sampler. Pretty tasty and very fresh. They have a variety of donuts and other baked items I.e. danishes, crossiants, even cream puffs and breakfast sandwiches. They also serve hot beverages and smoothies. When I want a night snack we come here. The quality of the donuts is good and consistent, they're never dry or old and they have a variety for all tastes at any given hour. I haven't visited Modoo for a long while. It's been remodeled and was sold to a new owner. If you're an old regular here, you'll definitely notice the changes to the interior and the donuts. Some of the donuts have been cut down in size for sure. As you can see in my picture, the bars arent the same size. They don't make the amazingly decorated cronuts anymore either. I saw the cream puffs in the cold case but I didn't try them. I did do the check in for a dinky little 10 oz thai tea. It was a tasty lil freebie. My daughter did order a taro shake with boba that she liked. I agreed it was tasty with fresh chewy small pearl boba. They had a good selection of donuts when I came in around noon on Sunday. I'll need to visit again in the morning though to see their full selection. The server did miss on the devils food chocolate sprinkles. I guess I should have realized to point out the specific sprinkles that I wanted. $17 for dozen donuts, a large fritter, and boba shake. read more

If you are looking for cute decorated donuts this is not your place (although they do decorate some kids ones), but if you are looking for an absolutely delicious traditional donut there is no other place than here. Their donuts have the perfect amount of density and fluffiness. Perfect amount of yeastiness and sweetness. Our family favorites are the sugar twist, chocolate bar, chocolate square and apple crumb. The ice coffee is really good as well. Staff is semi-friendly, but you're not going there for their outstanding customer service. They are accommodating though. My daughter has a peanut allergy and we always ask them to pull off a new pan with a clean glove and it is never any issue. Overall 5/5! read more

My new favorite donut shop. It's only 12 minutes walking distance from my residence. I have to leave very early in the morning to start my shift. When I'm up and waiting for the bus, Modoo Donuts is there and open waiting for me. I can go inside away from the cold and buy myself hot and ready croissants and blueberry cake donuts. The blueberry cake donuts are my favorite. I never tried them until I found Modoo Donuts. They also have tasty coffee drinks, tea and assortment of soda, milk and juices. They also serve breakfast and lunch menus. I haven't sampled them yet, but I want to. I think I'll try the ham, bacon egg and cheese croissant breakfast sandwich one day. I can't honestly give an opinion on food, but I can on service. Rude and extremely disrespectful. I walked in at 320 am, there is noone behind counter, I wait and a younger man comes out and I ask for a bacon egg and cheese croissant. I am informed he can't until 4am... 40 mins from then. I asked for a ham and cheese croissant and poured to the displayed ones. He yelled not until 4 o clock. I said no, not to make a sandwich, the prepared ones, pointing to the case displaying all of the food items for sale. Then he yelled no, I don't have any until 4 oclock!! Louder with his hand in my face with 4 fingers up. While writing this few customers have come and gone. Open sign on, so, they are open. They have food. Apparently he is just rude because I wanted him to make a sandwich and then he had to wait almost one minute for me to figure out a new order. Either it's petty vindictiveness, or their croissants are precooked and frozen and he just hasn't had time to thaw them yet: not really sure. Regardless, just avoid scumbags at all cost. Both the Apple fritter and the Blueberry fritter were good, Would order both of these items again. (4 stars) Donut holes were ok. My niece liked them more than I did. (3 stars) Strawberry glazed or maybe it was a Cherry glazed donut was not good (1 star). May stop in again if I was driving by. Cool name, I was expecting a cool, Voodoo donut type shop, nope regular family run strip mall joint. No problem, easy parking out front, no line inside. The selection your average donuts, average flavors and pricing, nothing called out to me. Then I saw a tray of cronuts, half mint oreo (not a fan of mint) half fresh fruit. The fresh fruit looked amazing, one of those, for once a no brainer. Girl working was nice, though she had no idea how to box the cronut up. She gave me a tiny box that would closed and told me to leave it open. I asked for a bigger box, I just dropped $4 on a single item I want it to make it home looking just as pretty, That it did then, the dough was good, crunchy, flaky, the cream only ok, a bit dense and hard, the fruit fresh and tasty. Killing two birds, I also got a cronut. The Oreo cronut was a bit disastrous. Had it been fresh, I bet it would have been delicious! But this one that I purchased had the texture as though it sat for more than 10 hours. It was cut in half, the bottom half was not flaky at-all. It was rather like a dense bread. Finally came here and inside this place is clean! They keep there donuts at back wall just like how dunkin donuts displays theirs. Their donuts looked real good and they appear a little bigger than an average mom and pop donut. Well i stood there not sure what i want, and their donuts don't have names labeled, but they label them with numbers, so i guess you tell the donut guy you want # so and so, but it's better to ask what kind of donut your getting into or maybe you don't have ask, majority you can identify them like glazed, sprinkles,the classics, but a few looks out of the ordinary. I took a bite and they are delicious!!! i got a donut with strawberry frosting on top with sprinkles, and a donut crumb cake. The donuts here are not average, cheap tasting fried ones, like you can get anywhere else, but modoo's are cakey quality made,balanced between bread like and sweet. The chocolate square has a delicious CINNAMON chocolate filling!! wouldn't have known if we hadn't asked about it. It was fire tbh esp if u love that combo which I do. They should rly specify that in the name/label! The blueberry cake was so good, nice balance of fluffy soft and dense. It wasn't dry at all. Loved the blueberry flavor.
