Mount Mt. Sanitas (no cheese) on cinnamon raisin
Gabrielle B.

This is such a charming and wonderful bagel spot in beautiful Boulder, CO. I loved the contrast on the menu and that many items are named after local places! I got the Mt Sanitas after doing that hike on a cinnamon raisin bagel. It was fun to try a sweet bagel with savory fillings and I enjoyed it immensely. The store itself is very clean, with natural light and local art. The door is not accessible, otherwise the rest of the restaurant appears to be! There is indoor and outdoor seating and overall great ambiance and friendly service.

Sesame bagel with Jalapeno Cream Cheese, bacon, and onion

The place smelled amazing!!! Bagel was good, a little tough but good flavor. I didn't care for the plain cream cheese. Jalapeño cream cheese was an odd color and tasted like tomatoes but it wasn't a bad flavor. Service was great. Menu had great variety of options.

Confused how you forget egg on a breakfast sandwich with no other modifications... bummer for first time experience.

Jive turkey
Austin B.

I ordered the jive turkey sandwich and it was pretty good. The turkey was really flavorful and the bagel was nice and soft. Overall it was a nice quick lunch stop. One thing is they don't take your name or give you a number when you order so when they call out your sandwich when it's busy it's hard to tell who's sandwich is who's.

Bagels were mediocre. The sausage was not good. Preparation wasn't the issue. Service was good. Bad ingredients and seriously over-priced. .

Our first time visiting The Buff due to the positive recommendations. That always worries me…read morebecause the expectations are set high. We were greeted by a great hostess with an excellent sense of humor. They were able to accommodate our party of 7 at a round table that still had plenty of elbow room for all of us. Our server, Michelle, greeted us right away and provided recommendations on their coffee and drinks. She was energetic and fun - we loved her genuine interaction with us! The food came fairly quickly considering they were nearly full. I chose the cinnamon roll French toast (chef's kiss!!) and hubby had the basic breakfast. We shared our meals so we could each have something sweet and savory. My niece had the Heartland Skillet and said it was to die for! I don't think there was much on the menu where you could go wrong. And bonus - they offer a breakfast cocktail for 99 cents with an entree order. You can get up to 3. This is an excellent choice for brunch (service and food!) and we will return next time we are in Boulder!

Sorry in advance for the lack of photos. That often happens when I'm starving!…read more We are from out of town and this looked like a fun hole in the wall. It was busy when we walked in and all the tables were full and then we were offered outside seating which we didn't know they offered. They have three tables outside and it was nice in the sun. The menu has a nice selection of typical breakfast options. They also have burgers as I saw one walk by on its way to another table. Service was good even though we were outside. Chicken fried steak - 8/10 - this was one of the better ones that I have had. The hash brown potatoes were crispy and delicious and the sunny side up eggs were cooked perfectly . Oatmeal - 6/10 - hard to have amazing oatmeal, it was fine Pancakes - 7.5/10 - these were light and airy, yummy, and huge (they were the size of the plate) This is a great place to frequent.

It's an old school diner, one of my favorite vibes and the portions were HUGE...! My wife and I I split a vegetarian omelet and two pancakes for breakfast. Couldn't come close to finishing...! I will definitely be back the next time I'm in town visiting my cousins!

It was my first time trying Cajun/Creole food and not to sound dramatic but I feel like I have been opened to a whole new world. If you're having trouble choosing I would recommend that gumbo. I'm not sure if it was the rainy day or circumstances but a bite of that gumbo felt like a warm hug. The interior was cute too, like a house. There was an upstairs waiting area with AC which im assuming is used during the summer wait time. I will definitely be back here, typing out this review has me drooling.
