Delicious BBQ! The pulled pork was tender, juicy and everything you want when you eat BBQ. Their baked beans were on the sweeter side, but really good. We also had the cornbread (not the best I've had but it's really a matter of personal preference) and their banana pudding (tasty!). My son (who doesn't typically love BBQ) housed his food and wanted another sandwich. Service was very friendly and the food was ready to go exactly when they said it would be. Stopped in for dinner and the food was fantastic! Our food was brought out very quick, but also very hot. Mac n cheese is a must if you like good southern Mac n cheese! Green beans were fantastic, but the pork....good lord it was good. The sauce on the pork is a vinegar base, so if it's not your thing, try something else. The cornbread...WOW! Gave this place a try. Even though it's a chain, it had a very local feel too it, which is what I'm looking for in BBQ place. Kids ate the smoked chicken sandwiches. Good portions for kids and they devoured them. Mac n cheese on side. My wife and I got wings, ribs and turkey. Sides of slaw, beans and potato salad. All of it was really good. Ribs weren't too "fall off the bone" but were very tender (which is my preference). Sauce was good, but you don't need a lot. Meat has enough flavor on its own. The service was good. Wow...where does one start. So much to mention. First off, this business has taken over this place. New name new recipes. The owner greeted us as we walked in and answered ALL of our questions on the menu. We ordered a platter to share and my son in law ordered his own platter. Look at the pictures this is two platters. WOW!! I bet your mouth is watering looking at the pictures...my was sea like when he brought it out to us. I am a big BBQ fan we had ribs on our platter, I can't even find the words. Best ribs ever!!!! The Mac and cheese has such flavor it made my mouth do a happy dance. The beans were explosive with taste (not your ordinary back yard baked beans). Well well. I love this place. I am from North Carolina and we take our pulled pork pretty seriously. I have lived all over the USA and the world and it's hard to find a good pulled pork that reminds me of home. Well Moe's hit the spot. I have gotten several pounds to go since moving to Destin a few weeks ago. The pork taste is excellent, not dry and the sauce excellent as it has a little kick to it. I have smoked my own pork shoulders and made my own sauce because it's so hard to find good BBQ outside the south. I have tried 2 other bbq places in Okaloosa county and they were good but not on the level of Moe's. Now if I can just find some red coleslaw (Vinegar based). Until then, I will continue to make my own. I look forward to trying more of their smoked foods in the future. Great job Moe's !!! read more

Our first time here on Saturday we were to late for ribs, mac and cheese and brisket. We had turkey and pulled pork which were very good!! We enjoyed it so much we came back the fallowing Monday and got ribs and mac and cheese (which were very worth the 2nd trip). There was a three hour wait for Boshamp's , so we opted to try MOE's. We were not disappointed. The cornbread, pork, rib ends, brisket was phenomenal. Don't pass up the Brunswick stew which is a little bit of all the meats, corn, and tomatoes!! It was my favorite. Wow, were we impressed! We stopped here for dinner one night and were super happy we gave this place a shot. Cute little divey place with amazingly friendly staff and awesome options. I got the brisket sandwich with potato salad and boudin balls (sandwiches come with two sides). I wasn't sure which sides I wanted and the lady at the counter even let me have a taste of one of them to help me decide......talk about great customer service! Everything was great, especially the boudin balls. My husband had the pulled pork and baked beans and he said it was some of the best BBQ he has had in a long time. I loved that they have kids meals too. Our 4 yr old got the turkey, mac n cheese and cornbread and he ate almost all of it. It was pretty cool that some of their sides were desserts ha. Only reason we didn't try them was because we were going for ice cream after. Next time we are in town we will be back to Moe's! read more

Well I was really hoping this place would be a two thumbs up, super awesome one. But I was left disappointed. The customer service while ordering was great and my to go food was brought over with a friendly smile. I ordered a pork sandwich with sauce on the side, Mac n cheese, and potato salad. Another pork sandwich with Mac n cheese and marinated slaw. And lastly a brisket sandwich with sauce on the side, potato salad and Mac and cheese. Based on the staffs suggestion we also ordered a pint on Brunswick stew. The pork sandwiches were both great. The meat was tender and had good flavor. The Mac n cheese was lacking. It seemed like it was old and dry like it was made and served the day prior and we got the left overs. However, one of the three was hot and cheesy and delicious. Like it had just been made. The potato salad had lots of red onion which we love, however it seemed to have been sitting overnight as well. The onions became over powering and we ended up throwing one who side away because it was just too much onion flavor for anyone to want more. The slaw was really great. Balanced flavor and definitely a win. The brisket sandwich unfortunately had sauce on it, despite being ordered with sauce on the side. It was pretty well drowned in sauce and the bread was soggy. I would have loved to taste the brisket and let the flavor really stand up. Instead I got a ton of peppery sauce. The stew had a great flavor but was also pretty salty. Overall I think the food is good. But, for a time when there were only three other people eating in they could have done better at following up on the requests for the customer as well as having fresh sides. read more

We are from the Midwest so we love our BBQ. With a party of 10, we decided to order two triple wides to share. It was the perfect amount. Nearly everything was gobbled up in minutes. Moes is just home cooking for me. It's not anything crazy just simple delicious bbq. We have to have it every time we come to Florida, or Alabama. Don't waste your money. We stopped here on a very busy summer, Saturday night because we love BBQ and there was no wait. That should have been a hint... The sides were actually very good but the ribs had no flavor, nor any smoked flavor. They tasted like they were steamed in an oven and then way over salted. The BBQ sauce was just awkward, not sure how else to describe it. It wasn't sweet, somewhat vinegar based but it had a strange flavor. No one at the table liked it. Myself and my large party tried this BBQ restaurant for the first time this weekend, and everyone really enjoyed the food. I ordered the ribs and they were so tender and flavorful, the best I've ever had. They pretty much just fell off the bone! Their barbecue sauce is really good, it has a little bit of spiciness to it. The dining area was very clean and well maintained. The staff are some of the most friendliest and accommodating people I've ever met in the food industry. You can tell they have a passion for what they serve and care about their customers. I really would love to see French fries added to their side selections. First of all, if you don't like tangy bbq (South Carolina style) then don't eat here as that is the only sauce they have. For sides we got mac and cheese (was very salty and greasy), potato salad (good flavor and consistency), red beans and rice (very good and tasted homemade).
