A perfectly fine stop. I had a gift card for Moes from a friend and I finally got the chance to stop in the other day. It was about 8pm so I expected it to be a little slow but there were plenty of customers in there as I walked in. Most had ordered and had their food already so I got my order in quick. There was about 5 guys working, and I would almost bet all were teenagers. I was called sit a lot. The guy helping me had a surfer-helpful disposition. However, someone with sensory issues may struggle as when you enter the establishment they yell " welcome to Moe's" had a very loud volume, and this did start on my husband, he felt more relaxed after I explained to him. My first time trying this place out and sadly we will not be going back. I placed an order via mobile app. The portion size compared to the price was not worth it. Each of us also got a bag of tortilla chips with our orders but the salsa that came with it was close to no more than 3 tbsp in a small container. My other complaint is that the burrito could have been left on the side or in a separate bag but it was just tossed on top of the chips in the same bag. All I can think about was how the side of the wrapper that the burrito was prepared on is now touching the chips and some are crushed. Lastly the bowl was so shallow and barely filled. Dominic was so sweet today. We haven't been to Moe's in probably 10 years but we went today with our 1.5 year old for a quick stop. Dominic was so sweet to my baby. He was waving and smiling, he offered to chop the chicken smaller for my baby, and he was very patient. My husband was juggling trays to the table and left my baby's water so Dominic walked off the line for a sec and took it to our table. He was just so sweet. I am giving them a 5 star rating b/c they really do know how to make someone happy. I went in with my birthday reward (expecting to only be able to order a burrito) and Dominick (manager) was so very nice. He told me I could order a salad and it came with chips and salsa! So that was just fabulous I added white meat chicken, shredded lettuce, shredded cheese, cilantro, peppers, guacamole, spanish rice, pico de gallo,. black beans and spicy peppers! I asked for both dressings on the side! They wrapped it up nicely to go. They checked me out with a smile! When I asked him why was he being so nice (I'm so used to being disappointed these days), he said there is too much unrest in the world! Which I agreed. He also gave me a diet coke to go (I let him know there was something wrong with the balance of the PH in the soda machine however) - he didn't miss a beat, and ended up giving me a diet coke in the bottle. I like this place better than Chipolte and this is a clean location, with lots of serve yourself sauces (which Chipolte doesnt). I love Moe's. I've been coming to this location for almost 15 years on a regular basis! I'm 25 and STILL get the power wagon off the kids' menu, and I always will. We also always get the bowl of queso to share and like 12 of the salsa verdes, all for my mom.........I'm not joking.....Also, their queso is the BEST.EVER. While it hasn't always been perfect (ie sometimes the chips are stale), this Moe's has been fairly consistent for the 100+ times I've been here over the years. My sister and I were hesitant to come here during Covid because we didn't know the precautions the employees were taking, but we were craving queso so badly that we decided to go. We opted for the pick up curbside (they also have delivery), and it was very easy. We ordered over the app (pro tip: they have a dollar for dollar rewards program, and once you hit 100 points, you get $10 reward). It was ready immediately, and all we had to do was call the restaurant once we were in the parking lot. Connor answered and was so friendly. We could see through the window that the employees were in fact wearing masks and gloves, and they had a hand sanitizer station at the front door. Going back and forth on this because yeah, it wasn't great, but it wasn't terrible, but it's probably not a location I'd rush back to. So many thoughts, aye yi yi so unfortunately, I've gotta go with my gut and say two stars. Here's why: I came in on a pretty dead Friday afternoon. I got in line, which I was the only one in. The employees were making some online orders. No biggie. I thought the guy said, "how can I help you" when I gave him what I wanted to eat, I realized he asked, "how are you" because he told me wait a few more moments, and again, I did. Cut to ordering. I got a bowl with rice, no beans, veggies, queso (an up charge), chicken, tomatoes, and shredded cheese. The bowl looked kind of underwhelming at first glance. It comes in this big plastic bowl, but definitely doesn't heap over like it's competitor at Chipotle's does. Free chips here still which is great. With a drink it came to around twelve bucks. The location itself wasn't the cleanest ever, but I suppose I've been to worse? Lot of leakage from the soda fountain on the floor. The bathroom had water ( I hope) all over the floor too). Lots of trays and plates stacked at the garbage can. The food tasted alright. I mean, I ate it all because I paid for it, but while I really like their queso, I was not a fan of the rice as it was pretty dry tasting. The chicken was pretty juicy and their salsas were decently spiced. It was kind of good? Not really memorable. Not going to lie- I'm usually a chipotle person but it was Monday and was looking for a deal so I decided to try out Moe's. This store was just renovated and was very clean. The person greeted us right away with the usual "welcome to Moe's!" We all got the homewreckers which is the Moe's Monday deal. Moe's is probably the best for fast food, Mexican food. They serve huge portions, the food is always fresh and tasty and the staff always super nice. When you walk in they all yell out "Welcome to Moe's!" Cute. On our last visit, we got the taco combo, a burrito and some chips and queso. You can mix-and-match your meats and shells for the tacos. We selected grilled chicken, adobo chicken, and ground beef on the tacos. The adobo chicken was the tastiest. They have a huge topping selection and you can add as many toppings as you like. Of course guacamole is extra as in most places. The burritos are absolutely huge and probably weigh a pound or more. Their queso tastes like it's made out of a processed cheese like white American but it's still super delicious and creamy. All of the items come with a side of chips and salsa, but I did not realize you have to get your own salsa from the sauce bar. Luckily, I grabbed a few small containers since this was a takeout order otherwise we would've had nothing to add to our chips. But the food carried well. By the time we got home, we were also hungry we dug right in and I totally forgot to take pictures but we were all completely stuffed and happy. read more

Even at the cost of my "free birthday burrito", I spent too much. First off, the sour cream on the side had gone bad. Not just sour - but smelly and lumpy and one bite made me sick. Talk about health codes being ignored. Then the burrito was like drinking oil. Maybe drain the stuff before just throwing it in the tortilla? Forget dripping, it was more soup than solid. Overall I've always been a big Moe's fan. But this location takes everything people say bad about fast food to an entirely new level. You've gotten some of your soul back since my last review about 3 years ago. Once upon a time, before Chipotle's existence, Moe's was the place. Moe Monday's were exciting back then but there are 52.1429 Mondays in a year, which over 1.5 decades equals 782.1435 Mondays. In the later years, I got the vibe that management was more concerned with upgrades (queso, guacamole) over quality. The Homewrecker became a stale relic from the 00's. Our taste buds continuously evolve and on the last random visit, Moe's has finally caught up with time with their Close Talker salad, a healthier alternative to the 1000+ calorie stacker. Chipotle lacks this equivalent so it's either Moe's or Lime Fresh for healthier indulgences. read more

There's no trash can available near the salsa area because they're so lazy they got rid of one more thing they have to do. I will never be back at this location. People are forced to accept it because they don't know any better but after months of going to the Coral Springs location where things are very sanitary except for the moldy soda machines...then yes that's the better option to drive that far. read more

Got kicked out of an opened restaurant.. Their online ordering by system says pick up opens at 10:45. Got to a restaurant at 10:50 and the doors are wide open. Great! Then an employee comes out to say they are not open for another 10 mins and kicks out out. Needless to say we did not return and are not going to. How about you don't have your doors open for customers to walk in if you are still closed? I kept picking chicken out and throwing it out the window. Then bit into this chicken bone that looks like it's off a chickens leg , maybe a joint, and almost choked while driving . I'm confused why this Moe's has anything less than 5 stars. The staff is super friendly and the food is always delicious and well priced (especially on Mondays). But they never stiff you on the ingredients and when you say extra they go for it. The restaurant is always clean, service is fast, and again food is delicious. If we want to compare to other Tex-Mex places I'd say this place has more flavor than others. They have a nice selection of salsas but an underrated one is the bottle that says HOT on it and is really good. read more

I've been to Moe's before and liked it, but this review is based on this evening alone. My friend and I came here because we wanted a quick meal before our movie. To our dismay, the line was huge, and there were an inordinate number of kids running amok, screaming. We stay, figuring the line will go quickly. That was not to be. The staff seemed to be moving at a snail's pace, apparently not bothered by (or perhaps immune to) the long line. We then see a sign on the wall saying Wednesdays are kid's nights at Moe's, where if you buy one regular entree your kid's meal is free. Remind me never to come here on a Wednesday again. I guess it should go without saying that we missed the movie. Fast forward to the food. It's okay - I've had a better chicken quesadilla, but it's fine... until I bite into a piece of raw chicken. I quietly spit it into my napkin, silently praying that was just an errant piece and that I won't get salmonella. I warn my friend, who also had ordered her meal with chicken in it. Needless to say, I rather lost my appetite after that. I'm usually pretty forgiving about a bad restaurant experience, but I draw the line at risking my health. My husband had a postcard coupon for buy one entree- get one free from earlier this summer. We decided to use that after touring the Boca Raton Museum of Art. I am a Chipotle fan and hadn't been to Moe's in years (the last time was in Rochester, NY). So based on that experience I thought it'd be as good as I remember.... not really. They do have more preparation options than Chipotle and use fresh ingredients and have no MSG in their foods. I got the chicken burrito with rice and black beans. They didn't have fresh green peppers that I usually like on my burritos, but they had the fajita green peppers instead and opted for that and had white onions and their salsa put on it, too. I am a lover of guacmole and requested for the guac and I was disappointed that the guy put a small dab right in the middle of the burrito....... I was going to say something about this but there were other people waiting in line and didn't want to hold up the stupidity. My husband got a steak burrito with similar ingredients but asked to go light on the salsa. We originally wanted to eat in so I told the guy we're eating in and then my husband said that we needed a bag to go (cause the burritos are so damn huge). The guy behind the counter had already put the tortilla chips and our burritos on these plastic baskets and so then he dumped them all into a paper bag instead. I was like ummmm ok? Who does that? He could have just given us a paper bag on the side instead..... We got fountain drinks, they have a really cool touch screen fountain drink machine. I wanted Sprite so I was ready to go ahead and put the regular Sprite in my cup and then saw on the Sprite page that they had like 5 other Sprite flavors. I had never seen this before, so I filled 2/3rd of the cup with the regular Sprite and the rest with their Raspberry Sprite. It was interesting, almost like a Fanta. The dining room was kind of busy and the only table they had was a bit dirty with food crumbs, so I just wiped it down. Went to pick up some more salsa at their side booth and returned to our seats. My husband was a little peeved that the guy was being a douche bag about throwing the chips at the bottom of the bag and our burritos on top of them, crushing half of them to bits. Our burritos were mediocre as the chicken lacked flavor, there were hardly any steak meat, the salsa had too much cilantro in them, I couldn't taste the guac and onions on mine at all and my husband's burrito was very very watery...... Huh? We ate half of our burritos and put the rest back in the bag and took it home. Later that evening, we did eat our leftovers but we took out the cilantro salsa and added more of our favorite ingredients like raw bell peppers and more onions and I even whipped up my own guac to go with this. It was way better than how Moe's made theirs. Either way... it was still an okay lunch cause we essentially saved $8 because of the buy one-get one free... but I wouldn't go out of my way to go to Moe's again and choose to go to Chipotle instead. read more

2.5 Let's establish a few things. Moe's is fast food. It's not authentic and it's mass produced. That said, it's a pretty good lunch choice. On Mondays they have a $5 burrito deal that is appealing to the wallet. The meats are all pretty bland but once you mix them with all the toppings you'll be fine. Look, you don't go here because you want a real authentic burrito. Anyone who rates this higher than a 3 should have their Yelp account disabled. They don't know good Mexican food and their opinion is null and void. I'll say I'd pick this over Chipotle for the simple fact they give you guacamole and grilled onions for FREE. Chipotle charges you $2 for a few scoops where you can get it on your tacos or burritos at Moe's for no extra charge. They also throw in chips and salsa for free, though I'm not the biggest fan of their salsa. It is free though. I dig that kinda stuff. It's the little things in life.
