It was a little too cold for us inside, so we chose to sit outside, which was quiet and relaxing. I brought mom here because she kept talking about wanting Oysters. I made a great choice bringing her here because not only were they delicious. they were '75cents an Oyster. I ordered the Birria Mac Daddy Sliders and mom had the Chicken Taquitos. The sliders were absolutely amazing and huge, so I had to take the 2nd one home. My Cool Cucumber Tini was excellent and we'll definitely be coming back here.

You can tell when someone genuinely loves what they're serving, and it makes all the difference. The flavors? OUT. OF. THIS. WORLD. The buffalo chicken egg rolls are non-negotiable - and you must ask for blue cheese with them. Trust me. The birria taquitos were phenomenal - rich, savory, perfectly balanced. The surf and turf quesadilla is officially my new go-to order. And my husband is still talking about the Baja fish tacos. Drinks were just as impressive (highly recommend the margaritas), and the overall vibe totally passed the check - lively, fun, but still comfortable enough to actually enjoy your meal and conversation. And for the quality and experience, the bill was very reasonable. We will absolutely be back. Papamigos is a gem.

INSTANT REGRET! The place was basically empty when we walked in, and it took a while before anyone acknowledged us. Our server was friendly but barely checked on us and we even saw her vaping at the bar, which was super unprofessional. We ordered loaded nachos, a burrito to share, and two Diet Cokes. They brought out tiny 8 oz glass bottles we finished in seconds, no heads up that the fountain machine wasn't working. The food? Total disappointment. The food was cold. The loaded nachos were so salty, bland, and definitely not "loaded." Not even all the cheese was melted. The burrito was just dry chicken and plain white rice with no flavor at all. It honestly tasted like leftovers from two days ago. Overall, one of the worst Mexican meals we've ever had. Not surprised the place was empty if they keep this up, they won't be around much longer. If I could give it zero stars, I would. Avoid this place at all costs!

This…read morewas our first time trying the $25 all-you-can-eat menu, which is an excellent value if you come hungry. One thing to keep in mind is that there is an additional charge for excessive food waste, so be careful not to over-order. This policy is clearly stated on the menu. Also, while soft drinks are included with the all-you-can-eat option, alcoholic beverages are not. We ordered a variety of tacos, and every one of them was fresh and delicious. The all-you-can-eat menu also includes unlimited chips and salsa, along with churros for dessert. The only surprise came when we ordered churros. We were initially served two, but when we requested more, we were told that the all-you-can-eat menu only includes one serving of churros. Since this limitation was not indicated on the menu, it caught us off guard. Fortunately, our server was extremely kind and accommodated our request for additional churros, which we greatly appreciated. Even so, the churro restriction was unexpected and is something worth noting.

I ONLY REVIEW NACHOS. Taco Labs brought me here before I'd…read moreever heard of the place. The nachos were the reason for the visit. Turns out that was exactly the right reason. The birria beef is the best protein this series has seen. Dark, rich, shredded loose, deeply seasoned. The thick chips held up through the entire plate -- magnificently. The Fork Rule was never triggered. The plate was finished. Here's the problem. The queso is beautiful where it appears. It just doesn't appear everywhere. Scarce distribution on a nacho this good is the difference between a 7 and a 9. Fix that, heat the beef consistently, and actually let the lab sauce show up on the plate -- this is a 9. I spoke to management. Because this nacho deserves to be great and it's two fixable problems away from getting there. 7/10 on the Florida Nacho Man scale. 4/5 stars on Yelp. Originally we came to get a break from the Mexican place we alway went to but after that one visit we never looked back because this was just delicious. We always start off with our drinks and the complimentary chips and salsa and I always have to remind the hubby not to fill up too much with the chips. I started off trying various dishes and have not been let down; loved their salads in the edible tostada bowl but then I moved onto fajitas and I almost always order the chicken fajitas. So yummy. My hubby is addicted to their burritos which is weird because he NEVER orders burritos anywhere else, but our kid got one and he tried it and was getting it often. Lately though, he has been getting their Fajitas Trio (steak, chicken and shrimp). We eat at the bar and the restaurant is large and has a lot of tables but it does get very busy on the weekend evenings (be patient for a table because it is worth it).

I dined at the bar, and the bartender was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, I did not enjoy the complimentary chips and salsa. The chips were unsalted and the salsa was oddly sour. I had two skinny margaritas which were very good and ordered the tacos al carbon, which comes with rice and beans. The tacos stood out, the steak was tender and had great flavor. The rice and beans were average. I've been to this location with my husband before and enjoyed the fajitas, so I *might* return if we were in the area and in the mood for Mexican, but I wouldn't go out of my way, to be honest.

With its warm, inviting atmosphere and Mexican decor, the restaurant instantly makes you feel at home. We were greeted like old friends by Luz herself, setting the stage for a delightful meal. Lured by the enticing "$10 for 4 Tacos" Taco Tuesday deal, we indulged in a variety of tacos and other menu highlights. The journey began with fresh, house-made chips and two flavorful salsas - a vibrant green jalapeño and a smoky red morita. The horchata was a standout, creamy and perfectly balanced, while the tamarind drink offered a refreshing tang. YOU MUST GET THE HORCHATA! One of the best I have tried. Our taco selection included cochinitas, carnitas, asada, al pastor, and tinga de pollo. Each taco was a burst of traditional Mexican flavors, generously filled with juicy, well-seasoned meat and served in small, handheld tortillas - a true taste of Mexico. My favorite was the cochinitas! While opinions varied on the asada's saltiness, the overall consensus was overwhelmingly positive. We also savored the street corn, a delightful combination of mayo, lime, cream, queso fresco, and tajin, and the unforgettable birria tacos, generously loaded with meat and cheese and accompanied by a flavorful, non-greasy consommé.I appreciate it was not oily like many places, I was able to drink it all and no heart burns lol! To conclude our meal, we indulged in perfectly fried churros, choosing both the dulce de leche and chocolate varieties. These delightful treats were not overly sweet and filled with sugar, providing a satisfying end to our dining experience. Taco Real offers a true taste of Mexico in Florida, with its exceptional service, authentic flavors, and inviting ambiance. We can't wait to go back for another Taco Tuesday!
