Hadn't visited Moe's for 6 years, because I moved out of State. Has the So. Burl. Restaurant changed hands? Hardly anyone spoke English, and I could not understand them. I asked for a wheat burrito, which was always a Moe's thing. They did not understand the word wheat, and took a bit to find out that they no longer have them. Then at checkout we were not given the Monday deal, but they remedied that quickly. Also, all of the retro musical artist photos are gone from the walls, and no retro music. The food was good. Between Moes (a horrible establishment) and DoorDash, I received three ice cold meals. Of course there's nothing I can do about it because you can't get your money back from DoorDash or Moes. Mother of god I cannot believe that the health department hasn't come in and shut this place down. Probably because they were understaffed but the food bins the food was sitting in didn't even have enough water to reach the bottom of the buns to keep the food warm. The beans had been sitting for so long they were crusty on top and around the queso bin looked like a Jackson Pollock painting. The garbage bins were overflowing and every seat in the place was dirty or had crap spilled all over it. Not the employees fault they tried and even dealt really well with a total Biotch of a customer. If I could do 0 stars I would. They rush every order and make a mess out of the toppings everything is mixed together because they flail the scoops around carelessly. This place has really gone downhill IMO. My kids still ask to go, but I think it's because of the soda machine. Honestly, this place is so dirty, it makes me not want to go back. The lack of enough employees makes the food line go slow. Then you get to an empty salsa bar and have to clean your own table. I wish I could tell each & every miserable employee in this place that no one cares how miserable they are. If they're so miserable that they'll speak to a random person like that on the phone, they should do everyone the tremendous favor of quitting their job & working somewhere that they can't spew their awful attitudes. Think Chipotle but with a touch of Hard Rock Cafe. This place is basically a classier looking version of Chipotle in that you order your food Subway style as I like to call it, controlling which ingredients go into your food. I'm probably biased against Chipotle at the moment because my last two impressions were that Chipotle was edible but not great. I'll leave that to my Chipotle review. This place at the moment is experiencing a soda fountain malfunction so they will instead offer to give you canned sodas or lemonade or water instead. Personally for me that's fine since I only ever really drink water! I ordered a Homewrecker Burrito, as did my divorcée mother but that's another story for not here. I ordered mine with steak because a steak burrito has yet to fail me. I got it with rice, pinto beans, sour cream, guacamole, mushrooms, pico de gallo, cheese, lettuce, etc. and like Subway style it is made in front of you. It's not bad at all. I felt satisfied. I'm full. It was a $9 burrito, it wasn't the best burrito, but I'm assuming everything on the east coast is inflated for whatever reason. Also I'm going to be in the middle of nowhere I won't complain until I go back to LA. The place was clean, staff were super friendly and helpful! Not much to complain about really. read more

Didn't even get the opportunity to dine here as the wait to be served was "redonkilous". There were 5, count 'em 1,2,3,4,5 people behind the counter and the line expedited 2 orders in my 15 minutes waiting. Burritos like my mother used to make... and that I would expect a restaurant to do better. I had never been to a Moe's before, and it kind of looked like a Panchero's - so I figured I would check it out. But, sadly, Panchero's this is not. The restaurant was busy, but unnecessarily trashed. Many many dirty tables and a pretty filthy floor greeted me as I stepped up to the menu. The young and polite staff asked me what I wanted and walked me through the ordering process. The burrito I received (called the Homewrecker) was pretty huge, so you will be full when you leave, but I wasn't satisfied. Consuming a reckless amount of burritos over the past few years has resulted in me gaining an appreciation for what the different chains do right. Panchero's has the best method and tortillas, Chipotle has the best meat, and Qdoba has a good selection of sauces. Moe's didn't seem competitive in any of those categories. Unlimited chips are a nice touch, but it's nothing to write home about. read more

This store is why pot should not be legal. There is typically always a line here during lunch. It is busy yes, but the line is long because the employees are more baked than the chicken. I ordered and said "joey chicken, with black beans and southwest rice". The burrito maker could not remember the three ingredients I told him. I had to slowly repeat each ingredient after one was placed on the tortilla. The baked-ness was right down the line, with all three people making the food and cashing me out. Very easy ordering process! The restaurant is never super busy. There is usually no one in line when I've been there. It is your typical Moe's. There is plenty of indoor seating and a few outdoor tables as well. The restaurant is always clean. The food is always good and filling. Great place to go if you need a quick Tex-Mex meal! read more
