Two of us came here on Monday for the Monday special. No one was at the counter when we arrived. A man came and took our orders but when we got to the checkout he had no clue about the Monday special and wanted to use my points instead!?!?? Someone else finally came and helped us. So skimpy on the chips in the to go order. Got a regular bowl and was charged for something called a home wrecker.. Not too much more, but not what is advertised. The cilantro rice is a little under cooked as they were hard (unless it's old) No option to get any shredded lettuce or pico de Gallo. Was told guacamole would be extra, but according to the website it should have been included. This facility charges extras if you want white meat chicken. I wonder if they screwed up the order bc the server had airpods in his ear when serving. The sauce area was not that clean and weren't labeled. Food was actual not that good.. So disappointed! This location had a facelift but the quality of the food didn't! Horrible chicken that was dried out and had been there too long. Staff was scraping the bottom for beans and the chicken. Charged us $2.50 for queso in the burrito! First bite is chicken that is so hard and dry, I thought it was plastic! Wow! Not going back! Our food was burnt. One item only had chicken and none of the requested or normal ingredients that come in it. No cheese, no queso. Nothing but dry and burnt chicken. Food itself was great. The bowls are a great value for the amount of food you get and the salsa bar is a must. However, service is slow, and the interior is not clean. The salsa bar is very messy, and the tables are never cleaned. The food has the edge over Chipotle, but the interior definitely does not. read more

I don't generally leave Yelp reviews on chain restaurants, because theoretically the point of a chain is that you know what you're getting into. But this particular location is a disaster. Every time I think it can't get worse, they find new ways to fail to meet my very low expectations. Today it was soggy chips, swimming in their own private grease pool. And that's on top of Moe's periodically changing their menu for the worse. It's actually pretty fascinating how wildly variable in quality Moe's locations can be. Been a patron of Moe's for years and have never had an issue at this location but today was just terrible. Got a burrito with rice in it and the rice was beyond undercooked- super crunchy. When we asked for a redo they said that they had just changed rice and were still trying to get the recipe right, did I want something else. Not the line staff's fault- they comped us some cookies- but how do you knowingly serve rice that is undercooked?! So disappointed. read more

Pros: -easy online ordering -menu items are customizable with numerous options to pick from -vegetarian options -reasonable prices -flavorful, satisfying food -free chips and salsa Cons: -tofu was missing from my tofu bowl -chips were missing from my order Luckily we checked for the chips and went back inside to ask for them. The salsa, we learned that you get yourself from the salsa bar. I did not realize the tofu was missing from my order until we got home. My order still tasted great and the chips and salsa were good. After moving to Cary a couple years ago, we wanted to try Moe's. What a disappointment. I ordered a quesadilla with chicken after seeing Moe's online menu photo with black beans and cheese oozing out. Here's a description of the actual quesadilla: it was a burnt bland wrap with very little cheese (I put cheese on it when I got home), no black beans at all, dry chicken pieces, and no sour cream on the side as requested. The peppers and onions I added to the order were the only tasty ingredients. We wanted to give them a chance and called to speak to a manager but the phone didn't get picked up. This review was a faster way of getting the point across. The burnt taste is still with me as a reminder of the waste of $12.49. read more

Typical Moe's experience. Long line moves pretty fast. Nobody is overly friendly, but you order it your way and watch them get it right. On Mondays the Home-wrecker is the special with a drink and as always free chips and salsa for $7 with tax. Too much food. You can ask for your chips in a bag to go even if you're eating in. This particular Moe's isn't the most convenient one to enter from the road and at 12:45pm on a Monday I had to stalk a person to get a parking spot. This Moe's is pretty clean and still looks newish. It delivered, just what I expected, and that was $7 worth of Americanized Mexican food and decent unsweetened iced tea or Northern Tea as they call it. Too bad I only got one cup of it as I drained the container to get the first one. They were making more when I left, but they were making only sweet tea. Sorry, lost a star for that. read more

I eat at Moe's 2-3 times per week in North Raleigh on Falls of Neuse Rd. This Moe's is DIRTY!! The food did not look fresh at all. No one said "welcome to Moe's" on the way in. I always feel that a place that serves food needs to be ultra clean as this shows that care is taken with food prep. This location was very slow and no one was cleaning. It seems to me it's worth trying a different location. It's tough when franchises do not follow their own protocols of customer service and food delivery. Without a doubt if you want to be treated like garbage this is the place for you. I have a big family, I try to go at an off hour so we aren't holding the line up with our order of 5 yet we still get service with a annoyed sigh. I asked for my burrito to be warmed up and they just put it on the grill for a minute and really didn't make a difference. If I could give 0 stars I would. As a loyal Moe's customer I was saddened by my experience tonight. At 7pm I walked to the door but they had a sign on the door explaining how they will be closing at 7 due to staffing issues. I understand that finding people to work right now is difficult, but it was still weird when I saw 8 people in the front working and it is still "understaffed". As my friend and I stood at the door discussing where else to go for dinner, one of the workers inside proceeded to wave her hands up and mouth "we have no food". girlfriend mind your business! I was very hesitant to come here even though some of our friends come here often. These yelp reviews had me nervous! I'm happy to report, it was much better than I had anticipated! Most of the reviews mention horrible employees, but the staff that assisted us were professional, friendly, informative, and polite. They even laughed and joked along with my husband instead of doing the typical teenage eye-roll I would have expected especially after seeing other reviews. The restaurant seating area is large, and seemed at least wiped down. There's really no way to tell if it was deep cleaned. We did not encounter sticky tables or seats. Everything was A-OK. So why did we even try this place if the reviews were so scary? Honestly, I had read about Chipotle's queso and how the internet thought it was absolutely awful, and others had commented that Moe's has good queso. It was enough to spark an interest in trying as other Mexican spots weren't sounding all too appetizing. I'm happy to report that the queso here IS good! Other food: it's one of those order at the counter spots, but the options aren't described on the menu board so it's good to look it up on your phone if you aren't a regular. There are kid meals too, and kids eat free one day a week too. My husband said that unlike other Mexican spots, he didn't feel sick after eating here. Overall, A-OK. Not spectacular, not scary. I love Latin cuisine. Spanish, Mexican, Peruvian, Brasillian, Cuban - I don't discriminate when it comes to their delicious spices and flavorful dishes. I go to a better place - latin food lover's heaven. Unfortunately, I won't find any flavorful spices here. But, hey, its Southwest cuisine and a chain. It's good for what it is...I guess. The food for the most part is fresh. However, my burrito was barely warm and lacked any delicious flavor. Totally bland! Not sure what this chain is going for, but it's kind of disjointed. Basically it's "Chipotle" or "Baja Fresh" with a few confusing twists. First, their ridiculous attempt at being 'hip' with their pop culture menu references. Don't make customers say something stupid like "Joey Bag of Donuts" when they just want a burrito. It's confusing. Second, make sure to get some of the salsa from the salsa bar - the burritos are obviously intended to have you add salsa to them. My kids love this place. Why? I guess because they have queso (not available at Chipotle). Sometimes, I take them because they eat free on Tuesdays. But, I've decided a free meal for them just isn't worth a whatevah meal for me. I can't quite put my finger on what is "wrong" with the place-it just seems that there are no flavors to the food. I would just like to say that before moving here I was not a Moe's fan. I was seriously asking what all the hype was about. I would like to say now that I AM A BELIEVER. I am not found of hard tacos (not specifically at this location, but at any Moe's location). They do not hold up and start to get soggy even while eating them. The one thing that I continually get is the chicken nachos. I HIGHLY recommend them. The entree is flavorful, the chicken is not dry and you can get them topped with whatever you want. I will suggest to eat them hot because the tortilla chips can get a little soft after a while. I have not personally tried there burritos, bowls or quesadillas, but they look like a popular seller. I would also like to add that they have daily specials Monday-Friday. The service here is good in my opinion. I am always greeted when I come in and my food is always made in a timely manner. I've never had horrible customer service form this location. I recommend you go and check them out. Oh, and they do accept tips if you wish to give one. As far as price goes, they are from the cheap to medium range in my opinion. I can usually get my nachos and drink for around $10. Of course if you get extra toppings or meat, the price will increase. If you are in the area definitely give them a go!! You won't be disappointed. read more

I just got back from this Moe's for the second time. I ordered three chicken tacos. After I got home I realized One of them had no chicken or meat of any kind in it. I live 15-20 minutes away. I went back to the store after I ate the other 2 tacos. The night manager was not helpful. He said he could not give me a refund for that taco. He did offer $5 in moe bucks. I wasted 40 minutes of my time going back to get a refund, which apparently they don't give. I will not spend money at this location again. I would encourage you not to do so either.
