Well, I can say that Moes just doesn't taste the same. Less ingredients, and on yesterday was free guacamole day. I ordered a steak burrito and mentioned the free guacamole, which they didn't even offer and were kinda rude. I went to pay and asked for a military discount, and they said one offer at a time. However, every other Moes will offer that on top of a Moes offer. I'm just disappointed at how rude and kind of cheap they were being at this particular Moe's. read more

Absolutely disgusting. Went to this location recently and I'm truly surprised I didn't walk out after seeing how dirty the joint was. I've never seen a Moe's location in a state like this!! Employees were fine (but don't clean apparently.) The food? Gross. Got a burrito. The rice was dried up and hard. The chicken was hard, dry, and tasted bad. The drink station was dirty, one machine without ice. The salsa station was dirty, no containers to put salsa in if you wanted some. The floors were sticky and dirty. The tables were dirty. ALL OF THEM. An absolute disgrace. This location needs to be shut down immediately. read more

We placed an order on the mobile app, paying $49 in advance. We received a confirmation email that the food was being made, and an additional email stating that the food was ready 30 minutes later. However, upon entering the restaurant, we were told (very rudely) that they had never received the order. Of course, we double checked everything to ensure we hadn't made a mistake on our end, such as the location, and sure enough, we had made no errors. We showed our receipt, and the confirmation emails. But the woman told us they were not going to make the food, despite the fact we had already ordered and paid. Not for nothing, but we would have been more than happy to wait, so long as we got the food we had ALREADY paid for. Upon leaving, we called the customer service line to get a refund, and were told it would be given within 7-10 business days. This time period has passed, and we are still without our refund. In today's economy, it is an egregious offense to withhold a refund this long, especially when we literally received nothing for the money we paid. This location is home to an incredibly rude, dishonest, and lazy staff. And as for the management of the company itself, I am utterly disgusted and will be pursuing remediation through legal means if our refund is not processed. read more

This place is filthy, the soda machine is broken and the only drink options are bottled water that are in the cooler. Mind you, the cooler has no ice in it. So you can have hot water. The tables and floors are filthy. There's no salsas in the containers. The service was not great either. Very disappointed and will not be coming back. All I gotta say is Teresa is a freaking beast. She did not stop moving between walk in guests and togo orders. I heard her tell her team at one point "we gotta pick up the pace" because she was moving so fast. She kept her team motivated and was so friendly. I admire her work ethic! I just wanted to express my absolute delight with my recent order through your app. Who doesn't love a surprise when their meal arrives without salsa, chips, or cookies? I placed an online order on 7/22 at.9:04pm and went inside to pick it up. When we got home and we started eating, t took a bite and immediately I spit my food out. The rice in my burrito was very undercooked and crunchy. I opened the burrito and tried to mush the rice in my fingers and it was unmistakenly undercooked and most wouldn't squish at all. My friend's steak taco had rice too and was inedible. I immediately called and got no answer but assumed that it was because it was near closing time. Their mailbox is full as well so you can't even leave a message. I called two more times and gave up for the night. The guy that started our order was super friendly! He even let us sample the cilantro lime rice because we had never had it before. Moe's is always like a make your own bowl/burrito kind of place, so I always like the options. Alright, let's all just cut the bs. Moe's is the superior fast food Mexican joint in the area. I know a lot of people may disagree but there are some guarantees with Moe's that will solidify my argument. 1. You will be delightfully greeted every time you walk in with a big "WELCOME TO MOES", or at least a half assed grunt that comes close. 2. They will always load your burrito with all of the fresh ingredients your heart desires, they will not be spread evenly amongst the burrito and you might get a bite of just guac but they are CONSISTENT! 3. It's not Chipotle so you are less likely to contract a food borne illness. In conclusion, if you are feeling the Mex, don't gamble with your bowls at the local taco truck during a toilet paper shortage and just get you some Moe's. read more

I paid $14 for a chicken bowl that was double meat and added queso. So the portion was super small. The chicken was cold and I requested a little bit of shredded cheese and I got a lot. The service was okay though. Would I eat at Moe's again? Definitely not. Chipotle is taste better and provide larger portions. Also the food is always hot. read more

When heading to the Walmart with a friend we both remembered this Moe's was here. I used to have it a couple times a week at the Mt. P location b/c my boss was addicted!! So with the thought of quesadillas on the brain for a few days, Cyndi and I made our way to this location! The store still looked brand new and appeared extremely clean even thought I think it's been open for a couple years now. There was plenty of employees working that politely greeted us. I got my go to order of a chicken JC with black beans and some veggies. After tax it's almost $8 which I think is high for a quesadilla. What also drives me crazy is that it's over a $1 for a tiny cup of queso and over $3 for the bigger size. The queso is good but to me that's just too much to pay. I thought this location had fixed its dine-in issues/staffing over the last several weeks. Tonight, (4/16/94 Tuesday), I stopped in for what I thought would be a quick to go order (I was only ordering a salad), but it took some 50 minutes later before I FINALLY received my order. I feel this is unacceptable because I was here a few weeks ago, early in the week, & the place was just as busy. Tonight the female in charge stated the slow service was because of the call-in orders, but last time I was here the staff handled call-in & dine-in orders with ease. Tonight the place had 3 staff working the line for dine in, in my previous visit there was a blondish-brown haired guy working the entire line and it took me less than 10-15 minutes to receive my order. The guy provided great service, but tonight it seemed as if the majority of the staff did not care. Very disappointed that the service has once again regressed to being poor. I like the Moe's Southwest Grill on Dorchester Road is one of my favorite Moes locations. It is very conveniently located and very easy to get in and out of with your burrito. The service is friendly and efficient as they keep it moving with a smile. This location is very clean and well run. Their food is always good and hits the spot every time. I love Moe's. They have the best Queso in the world and offer a very good selection of burritos, bowls, and salads. The location was clean, inexpensive, and we were able to sit outside and enjoy our meal in the sun. My only negative is that the person serving our food used his gloved hands to add toppings to our food. If they had a spoon to serve, I would have been more at ease. read more

Not impressed with Moes - I go here every time hoping that the food will be better, but it never is. The staff is friendly and helpful, but the food is awful. The chicken is bland, the black beans are mushy, and the veggies are not fresh. I think the only thing I like is the queso, and that's just melted cheese. Yesterday I decided to have lunch with my mother Clarissa, since she is very old I decided to get it online and pick it up myself because I don't want my mother getting COVID-19. I went in to pick it up and the bag was smaller than usual. It was THE ONLY bag with my name on it. So I thought they were just stingy with the chips. Then, I get all the way to my mother's house and they only gave us my burrito. They forgot my moms taco and our queso. Obviously, I couldn't leave my mother hungry, so I drive back to this same location with my receipt and go tell the cashier. They act like they don't believe me, they go check the carry out bags- which they already saw me double check. And then the lady I asked went and told the manager and they still acted like they didn't believe me. They asked exactly what was missing and I told them. Eventually they made the food and brought it out to me, they did not apologize or anything, they just handed me the food. I am highly aware that someone else may have picked up the bag on accident, and the employees may have remembered making it. BUT I would not drive ALLLLLLL the way back to the restaurant just to joke around or get another taco. That's just basic courtesy and customer service. I will only be returning because I simply like their food and they are the closest one to my house. However, I will not be excited to deal with their awfully rude and annoying staff.
