Secondly the guy making the food hasn't cleaned the counter one time just sliding food across a dirty counter. Third the guy making the food has poured cheese dip over his hands multiple times and just wiping it on his pants. I got a regular bowl with chicken, rice, and a few other toppings. When I tell you that rice was gummier than a stick of chewing gum, and the meat smelled funny. Staff was cool, but that food is not it. This is the first Moe's I've had that was this terrible with the food (I'm from FL). Won't be going back there anytime soon lol. read more

I came in the store about 2:00pm and was immediately greeted by Michael, who had a very bright and welcoming personality. He took my order and made me the best bowl of nachos I've ever had at any Moe's. Many times all the ingredients are just piled in the middle but Michael made sure that every chip had queso and all the other ingredients. Sooooo food was fine, service was fine. However, the place is disgusting. I was afraid to even get salsa because of how crusty the salsa bar looked. The salsa even looked super old. You can tell that they never fully clean the restaurant. The drink area was dusty. The booths and tables were dirty and sticky. Trash everywhere. This wasn't "just had a rush mess". Moes is one of those places that you can get good food, fast, cheap and friendly service. We eat here a lot and have never had an issue........that is except for tonight. We were greeted with the usual loud "Welcome to Moes"! We were the only customers (which is a first!) in the store but the employees always make you feel welcomed. The first employee to approach us was friendly, had a great smile and a very nice personality! He took our order and made each one to perfection. We were told as we were ordering our drinks that all the "dark" drinks were out. So, I ordered tea. The tea is very good at Moes. You have your choice of Southern Sweet, Unsweetened and Green tea. I decided on my tea, added a lemon and took a seat. Here's where the issue started...I noticed a young man (I think he's a new employee as I've never seen him at Moes before) was standing beside the register eating something. Whatever he was eating, he was taking it out of a cup and putting in his mouth with his hand-no gloves on. He was eating in a hurry, my guess is so that no one would "see" him even though he was directly in the public view. As he stood there and ate, I tired to guess what he was scarfing down. At first I thought it was orange slices. Then it dawned on me.....lemon slices! He'd make a sour face as he ate each one. He was soon finished with his lemons so he decided to go check out the tea urns. Using the same hand (with no glove on) that he used to eat the lemons.... he raised each lid on the urns as to see if they needed refilling. Wrong! He was slowly making his way to the......you guessed it.... The Lemon Container!!! He then very quickly stuck his hand down into the lemon container and grabbed a handful of lemons! Sneaky but so unsanitary and unprofessional! Come on Moes.....what happened tonight? Lemon boy needs training on working with and around food. read more

My husband and I recently moved to the Simpsonville Area and decided to go to dinner. We visited this location on 1/9/22. The food was good however the restaurant was not well maintained. Every single table we attempted to sit at was filthy. I'm not talking about a few crumbs. The tables had cheese smeared across some, chip crumbs, old food droppings on top. Once we finally found a table that was moderately clean we began to notice how utterly disgusting the floor was. This location looked like it hadn't been cleaned in days. I try to be a very understanding person and extend the benefit of the doubt when able but in this situation I was not. The restaurant was not busy. When we arrived there was only one other group of guys there to get food. So given the lack of customers I feel one of the 5 employees working behind the counter (rather standing and talking behind the counter) could've been walking around wiping tables and seats, or at least sweeping the floor. I'm disappointed as my husband and I love visiting the Moe's in Greer and am not sure if we will be back to this location due to the sanitation issues. Really hoping management sees this and is able to improve the location accordingly. read more

And this is our review of Moe's. Today we ate there for lunch before we went to the movies, let me just say that this place is lacking management initiative, because the all too familiar "welcome to Moe's" that we get at other Moe's, is all but gone here. I missed that familiarity that I used to feel special when I walked in. This is/was our favorite Moe's. OK with that said, I got the homewrecker bowl with double meat pork the prep chef was amazing he listened and delivered, what he could. Post lunch means they had no cooked mushrooms, low on meats, and very low or out of condiments... however he was so apologetic and added extra of what they did have. I wish I had gotten his name younger man 22 brown hair beard happy face. The food was exceptional as always I could only eat half of a bowl, and brought home the other half for supper, however the chips that they give you on your tray for the salsa Bar were old and wilted. All they needed to do was put them in the oven for a few minutes and it would've crisped them up. Regardless this is still a great place to grab a bite for a reasonable price thumbs up. We'll always go to Moe's for great food, step it up guys. read more

This place is disgusting every time I've been! There's always food strewn across the severing counter and food mixed together in the containers. The teenage employees don't care. They dropped my bowl on the floor and the employee who picked it up didn't change his gloves after he threw it away. The girl filling queso cups didn't have a care in the world how big a mess she made while literally slinging the ladle into the cup with drips running down the cup and all over the counter. They ran out of cilantro rice at 7:30 (conveniently after they dropped my first bowl) . There's always a line to the door. And there were WET and SOGGY chips in our bag. Moe's has always been my least favorite of the "build your own burrito" chains, but this location is just plain terrible. read more

We have been several times and it just keeps getting worse. This last time: the crunch wrap was so poorly put together, you couldn't even pick it up. Might as well have gotten a bowl. The paper towels were sitting on the baby changing station instead of in their container. Wild idea. It's just so filthy. I used to actually get a decent serving of an item but now I hardly get enough to cover 4 chips on my nachos. This is by far the worst Moe's I've ever eaten in. Staff is lazy, slow, and unprofessional. Is there even a manager? The first few times I ate here I thought maybe we just came at a bad time, but no, after 7 different trips at different times of day and the same crappy experience, we are never coming back here. Three times I have ordered tofu and been told they are "out". Once later as I sat and ate I watched a call in order go out with tofu on it. I'm guessing the staff just didn't want to take the time to cook it for someone in the store, but had no choice once an order came through the internet. Juan is RUDE and refused to remake my order even though HE is the one who personally made it. He threw my food away and told me to leave. No refund...no remaking of my food, etc. I literally had to call the police to have him remake my food. Yes it is a crime to take someones property and throw it away with out a refund. We probably eat here 2-3 times a week. I usually get a chicken bowl or the nachos. My wife and daughter love the burritos, they offer a kids menu too that includes a drink and a cookie. Plenty of seating available and as well as a couple of tables outside. My oldest loves the Coke fountain machine where you can choose hundreds of flavors it seems. read more

Worst Moe's Ever!!!! They are always out of pork. And when they're not out of pork, it is really dry. Once the worker told me the pork is a bit dry and when I asked if they were making more, he just said no and didn't follow up with another suggestion or a question as to what I'd like to do or even an apology for the dry pork. I got it anyway and it was so bad, I asked for my money back. Also, the service is terrible. Every time I go in there, I think one of the crew is going to commit suicide. They all appear like they hate their jobs and life. They never smile. They never ask how I'm doing. They just stare at you and plop your food on your tray thing. Once an assistant manager helped me and he was friendly and helpful, but that was once in 5-6 visits to this Moe's. I like Moe's, but I'm not wasting my time and money at the Simpsonville Moe's ever again. Just go to Jersey Mike's or the pizza place by it. It's seriously not worth it. read more
