The infamous cluck u. This is my second experience with this franchise and it did not disappoint. The worker was very friendly and knowledgeable. I asked him what he recommends and he took his time to explain thoroughly all the choices and it's popularity. I do think he overstated the spiciness... I didn't get anything above hot because I was told that it was going to be a bad night for my stomach but... The hot wasn't that hot. I only regret not getting something spicier. The chicken was delicious. I loved all the flavors I got. I also ordered the largest order and it came out in no time which was a big plus. Ordered the 25 piece Buffalo wingers with three sides. Mac & cheese, spuds or whatever the hell they called them, and a side salad. It took over an hour for our food to be delivered. (That's OK though we were waiting patiently.) Our chicken Wings were dry with no buffalo sauce on them. There was no blue cheese dressing on the side. The wings were cold. The mac & cheese was horrible but I didn't order that because I don't eat other people's mac & cheese. I tasted it and it was horrible. Fries were soggy and cold. The meal came with these bread things. I guess they are biscuits or something. Horrible; what the fuck are those? The food itself reminds me a lot of my favorite wing place back home. Be advised, when you order boneless wings, they're more like the size of strips. That's a great thing!!! The lemon pepper dry rub was a good choice. I like the choice of getting to have a beer with the wings, and the choices are plenty to choose from. So this place was delicious!!! The chicken was real! Lmaooo!! None of that breaded, mush that you get from the chicken spots here in the city. But, it was freshly prepared. Chicken was fried fresh, it was crispy, and seasoned perfectly. I prefer a three piece and the lovely people gave me more than that, clearly! Lol. The coleslaw to me was a little weird. A little too sweet, but still pretty good. I took off a star for that. The garlic Parmesan sauce was to die for! They need to bottle that up and sell it! I went pretty late also; maybe like 11:30pm. It was empty, and the food came out in a timely fashion. The customer service was amazing! I will definitely recommend this place to anyone in that area. You won't be disappointed. I've definitely grown to love Cluck U. Their wings are great, however I highly recommend the Chicken Parmesan sandwich! The bun tastes fresh, and is extremely soft and warm, and the whole sandwich tastes great. The cheese is melted and gooey. Overall, I give them five stars the environment is super clean. And not to mention they have a great beer selection. Everything you can think of is here. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a quick meal fix. We do "wings & wine" most every Friday night and we often order from here. We've never had a bad experience and our food is always hot & tastes fresh. We usually order 10 wings each and we try 2-4 sauces, plus fries. I always order half of them "well done" and they've never gotten it wrong. Good go-to place for wings if you don't want to necessarily order from a local pub every time. I've been getting Cluck U for years. A LOT of things have changed in the last 8-12 months. Idk if it's an turnover in staff, or management, but it's gone down hill. The mini bites have been a staple in takeout food for me, and their buffalo fries are great; but the prices have risen and the quantity of food has gone down. They used to have tender Tuesday and mini bite Thursday but those are long gone. I just waited over 2 hours for a delivery order (I'm about 10 minutes away) and when it did finally get here and i opened everything up, they messed up my order. I will only ever order from them again when I'm desperate, I'm very disappointed. read more

The reason for not giving this place 5 stars... I attached some pictures that are from Cluck U in Jersey City. I posted them to show how this PA Cluck U I'm reviewing is robbing the community. The prices are higher and they skim off on the food. I posted pics of a large buffalo fry so you can compare it if you buy from this PA Cluck U. I also posted a pic of menu price items of Jersey City Cluck U for you to compare to this PA Cluck U. The price is $1.50-$2 more and they give you less fries(see for yourself). Some may think I'm being petty but I'm just stating my experience. I will attach pics of my boneless wings next review because they also skim off those at this PA Cluck U. I can't really complain about the taste because it's pretty good and fresh. Bottom line is they are charging more for less. Not cool. I stopped buying from PA Cluck U because I'm in Jersey City at least twice a week and if I crave Cluck U I will go to a place where I won't be robbed.
