Needed to start a monthly facial routine to prep my skin for my upcoming wedding later this year. Called MOI the night before my appointment and they were able to take me in Saturday 3pm for a basic facial which included a regular facial, and a neck, shoulder and arm massage. Walking into the appointment, the atmosphere was very quiet. The waiting area was separated by a bookcase which blocks the rest of the facial area. There is a curtain that divides the "hallway" into the facial area, but no separation between all the beds. The whole service took an hour and I'm pretty sure I was knocked out for how relaxing the service was. My skin was super rough and dry walking into the service and came out moisturized and plump. I was told by my sisters-in-law that MOI Beauty Spa had a Thanksgiving Special offer for Nano powder brows and they just did it last week and were satisfied with the outcomes. I was thinking of getting my brows done before Christmas and I got my brows done at other beauty spa places last time before the pandemic (I forgot it was ombre or Microblading). So I called the lady Dannie and was glad I could get the promotion on time. She did my nano powder brows last weekend. They usually charge $350 regular price but it was $245 for the Thanksgiving promotion. MOI Beauty Spa is located inside a strip plaza in El Monte. The interior was bright and clean inside. Dannie was nice and very patient. She spent close to 2 hours on my nano powder brows and did a wonderful job. My eyebrows look great and natural. I highly recommend this place. read more

Ladies, if you want to see results and great customer service, this is not the right place for you. Don't waste your $$, take your business somewhere else. I had my brow laser removed in her office. 1st laser and second laser went well, the ink come off. The 3rd time I had the laser done again, nothing came off. I paid 100/each session. I believe this so call master lady purposely do that so she can make more $$ off me. She was very friendly when you first meet her, but when you go into details with more questions with the service, she gets agitated and being very rude, horrible customer service. I requested for my $100 to be refunded since she didn't deliver any result on my third session. She then said I should off paid for the package to fully remove the old brow. So I stumble in on this place for couple of years ago when I did my facials with my mom. I saw that they did eyeliner, lips tattoo eyebrows microblading etc you name it. So I really need a retouch on my lips and I will need on my eyebrows. I'm so glad that I went to Moi beauty because I did mine in Orange County before and I had horrible experience. My lips was super duper swollen so I wasn't able to go to work. So I decide to give a chance to retouch my lips today omg omg so freaking good. I was here for my laser removal of my brows after a friend told me about it and was really appalled by the unsanitary condition of the owner and her staff. After I was done wiith my brows, and was on my way to use that bathroom, I saw that Dany (owner) did not wash her hands and took in another customer right away. They didn't even change the towel on the bed or clean their equipment. I had some blood from the laser and they used the equipment to massage my brows but didn't clean. I was so grossed out! I hope I don't get diseases from other people because I have open sores from the laser and nothing was clean. They turn around and take another customer without proper cleaning. Please be careful! Not sure if these people are licensed to do this because I think a MD or RN supposed to operate laser machine. I am going to report them to the health department! Makes me so mad that they only think about money and don't care about the health of their customers. read more

Just got my microneedling treatment done here today. I have an ice pick scar that's expected to be healed after 3-4 sessions so here's a before picture. 1. Parking: The place is located in a nice area with lots of nearby stores so parking is not a problem. 2. Place: Nice and clean! Very aesthetic, minimalist, and has that luxurious vibe. Even their restroom is clean and you can take a nice selfie in there cause they have a nice mirror with plants which is totally my style. They also have a plexiglass on the reception area :) 3. COVID-19: My temperature was checked as soon as I got there. Everyone was wearing a mask and for extra precaution, the esthetician wore face shield too throughout the entire treatment. Sanitizers are available everywhere + restroom is equipped with everything so you can wash your hands too. 4. Microneedling treatment: I was shown before and after pictures of their clients before. The results were promising so I was not worried at all. She started off with cleaning my face, proceeded to facial, and then applied the numbing cream before doing the treatment. I was scared but surprisingly it did NOT hurt. She was very gentle on my face and I kept asking questions and they were nice enough to answer and explain the whole process. I was given the post treatment instructions and how I need to come back after a week for a follow up check/facial. I'll post an update on the results soon but the pic i'll be posting now is just pre-treatment and about 15mins post treatment. 4. Payment: They accept Apple Pay/Cash/Card. Overall I enjoyed my visit! I discovered MOI Beauty Spa on instagram. I came in with my mom and aunt. I got the Deluxe Facial with massage/hot stone. Angel was my esthetician she was super friendly. My face is absolutely clear after the facial! The hot stone massage was also great very relaxing. Angel took her time , I didn't feel like she needed to finish fast because of other people waiting for their services. Deny is super nice as well, I watched her do another customers Ombré brows and it's natural looking. Driving 40 mins from Orange County to give a try on this place, made an appointment at 4:30 and when I arrived they said it gonna wait for 10 mins but its not, after sit and wait for like 70-80 mins without any apology from them, I decided to give up because have stuff to do later. It was a hot stone facial massage and back facial. I think it was about 70mins and OH MY GOSH!!! It was THE BEST 70 minutes of my life! I came across this beauty spa on Groupon and I am so thankful I did. Because of covid, my skin has been so terrible. My pores were completely clogged and oily. After having an extraction and acne facial, my skin was immediately brought back to life and glowing! My blackhead filled nose is now sooo clear! Best facial experience ever! I came from DTLA to try their facials from a reccommendation and it did not dissapoint. They were super accommodating and put together a treatment based on my needs. I got the acne facial + deluxe treatment($100) because I had acne and wanted to relax. It was worth it and honestly thats a great deal. They treated my acne with extractions, microdermabrasion, jelly mask to soothe, and an ice roller part.
