I recently called John with a question, for a consult on remediation practices for my own line of…read morework in construction. But I also wanted to speak with him on a personal level. Because John and I, we go back several years, having first met in 2014, when as a leasing agent, he helped my family and I find a house in Orange County. He also helped consult for a legal case involving mold, that directly impacted my family and I, back in 2017 and 2018. So he's been doing this for awhile now. And I've been recommending him for awhile as well, so much so, that it was a bit surprising to me that I hadn't yet written a review for his business. Following John's lead in mold remediation, I'll remedy my own lack of follow-through with this recommendation. I work as an estimator for a concrete construction firm in the Central Valley. For two years, I was also the Assistant HR and Safety Manager here at my current place of employment. I worked for the City of Modesto in the Public Works Department for 5 years, and a total of 10 years for government agencies. So I'm a bit of a stickler for facts, evidence, and policy. And I'm big on safety. And aside from John being a man of integrity, a man of his word, honest, upfront, and as professional and hard-working as they come, John is too. John likes safety. And he likes the facts. He likes investigating problems, and finding solutions. And he likes it when he can help other people with solutions as well. He also likes it when construction is up to code, when OSHA regulations are followed, and safety standards are met, and exceeded. And his experience doesn't end there. He's reviewed and studied cases and outcomes so he knows how vital mold remediation is to tenants, landlords, and property owners and is an expert in his field. He has experience in both mold remediation and case mediation. He's straight-forward and honest, and if there's an issue with mold he'll address it. This review is a blend of my personal and professional experience with John, and hopefully the personal aspect of that isn't to his detriment. It's because of my personal experience and my family's personal experience with John that I'm leaving this review. The water heater didn't even work, yet somehow the inspector missed it--so I spent my first three weeks bonding with cold showers. The warranty company wouldn't cover it since the issue existed before I moved in. On top of that, I had to replace both toilets right away. Somehow they missed that too. Of course, when I contacted them, they denied any responsibility and took zero accountability for their mistakes. All in all, I would definitely not recommend them, especially if they're being suggested by your real estate agent.

I was put in a very difficult position due to the air conditioning company that I hired to repair…read morethe ductwork on my property. After they started the job it was discovered that they were unqualified to remove the ductwork and insulation properly. I wasn't aware that houses built in the 1960's used asbestos and throughout the house. The asbestos needed to be properly removed before any repair work could be performed. However the company gave me the impression that they were skilled and licensed to perform the removal. It was never mentioned to me that specific steps needed to be taken when dealing with asbestos. While removing the damaged ductwork they disturbed the asbestos thus making the house uninhabitable. Tony's company was brought in to perform the test for the asbestos. Asbestos was detected. Tony was very professional and helpful to explain the situation and provided information of what the next step entailed to resolve this matter. The testing report and procedure 5 plan was prepared by Titan. The report and work plan needed to be submitted to the SCAQMD for approval. His knowledge regarding this matter was absolutely first rate. He helped guide me through this difficult process. I would highly recommend employing Tony's expertise if you are ever get involved with this situation. You will be in good hands.
