Hey there yelpers and looky Lou's. I wanted to share my experience at this local family-run business in California. When I'm in the area this is my go too burger place to visit. It's rare to find independent businesses here, so it was a real treat to visit and support them. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I usually order the #2 value meal double cheeseburger with the works. I hope to come back soon!

First time visiting Mojo Burger. Nice Customer Service. We got a Mushroom Burger, Rice Beef Bowl and food was good. The ambience is nice because the workers are very kind and always smiling.

Delicious food, service, and story, but pricy. The burgers are fresh and delicious and they never cut you short on food. Fries are a must have but I would skip on the onion rings next time. Lots of options for milkshakes which were great! Got two burgers, 2 orders of the half onion rings half fries, and 2 milkshakes for 54. I love the story of the family and the owner and his wife were working the front desk.

This burger joint just has a special place in my heart. I used to live extremely close to one of their locations and grew up with seeing the two owners in house, working everyday and delivering top quality burgers to San Jose. Service was straightforward, fairly quick and easy. They also do an amazing job at sharing the story of how the establishment was founded and the commitment to quality. Love Mojo Burger and would highly recommend it!

Came here for lunch today with a group of friend's. You order at the counter and the menu is right above it. I decided on the single burger. I loved that you have a lot of options for toppings and condiments for your burger. I also liked that I can choose how my burger is cooked. I chose medium rare with lettuce, tomato, pickles grilled onions with ketchup and mustard. I also ordered the onion rings. The burger was ready in less than 10 minutes. It was fresh and tasty. The meat was very juicy and the vegetables were so fresh. The onion rings were piping hot and crispy and they gave a generous portion. Overall, the food was good, but pricey. I also ordered a small drink and my total bill was $19.96. I do feel that they used fresh ingredients and good quality beef. I would come here again and would like to try the chicken sandwich. I also wanted to mention that they have great customer service. The employees were really friendly and happy to help us.

So we went back today so I could actually try the food, I had a classic with guac and swiss. Very heavy handed with the guac, it was way too much, but the burger was good. The onion rings were fantastic, beer battered and fried perfectly. It's so super loud in there though I could barely hear anything. We brought my diabetic alert service dog with us, this time (Last time she was getting groomed) she only had her collar tag on so they asked us when she came in if she was a service animal, and she is, but she's still being trained on her out in public stuff, So the flooring scared her cause she's not been on that floor before (weirdo lol) But after a few minutes she was handling it like a champ and spent the meal next to me , pretty much under the table being a very good girl. I bring this up because on the way out of the restaurant, a gentleman who works there told us not to bring her in again without a vest on. The ADA does not require this. She did not make one single sound, or pay attention to anything but staying where she could do her job, neither did she make a mess, beg for food or in anyway deviate from her job. The ONLY thing she refused to do, was settle on the floor because it was new floor and she is still learning. She did sit and she did not wander at all. For reference: https://www.ada.gov/resources/service-animals-2010-requirements/ I let him know that the ADA does not require that, and if we weren't welcome to have her with us, we would not be returning. Which sucks because those onion rings were really good and we were already planning what we'd be getting next time we came.

Think Little League Games on a Saturday morning Your group is starting to get hungry so you head over to the snack shack and order some burgers. Mojo burgers is what you'd get! decent burgers topped off with some nostalgia. A local business that embodies those summer cookouts. I tried some cheeseburgers and the mushroom Swiss burger along with some sweet potato fries. While the burgers stand-alone wouldn't be much to shout about, the SP fries are AWESOME and they're an iconic business here in SJ.

Mushroom burger sucked - very dry and the meat tasted burned and smoky. They also forgot to put our order of fries to go.

We arrived a little after 7 and it was not busy inside for a Tuesday. It seems most people take their food to go. They do have ample seating inside if you come with a group which is nice. The ambiance inside was nice. A lot of fun decor and even a cutout to take funny pictures. They even have a tv playing music videos with modern music. Cool vibe! You can order via the kiosk with your card or at the counter whichever you prefer. We all ordered individually from m the kiosk and had no issues. Since there were seven of us who ordered, some orders arrived later than others. I can understand this since they're alls full filling online and delivery orders. I ordered the Texas forever hotdog since I love bbq and made it a combo with regular fries and soda. They get bonus points for serving Coke products, especially Coke Zero. My friends ordered hot dogs , corn dogs and the truffle and bulgogi fries. The stand out hotdog for them was the truffle dog! I recommend their business!

Damian's is located inside a plaza on Alum Rock and should be easy to spot. There's a cart stocked with cilantros, onions, limes, salsas, jalapeños, and grilled onions that you can add onto your tacos, as well as ketchup and mustard for your hot dogs. Their tacos are $2.50 each with the exception of Lengua which is $3. They also offer bacon wrapped hot dogs for $4. We tried.. Pastor - This one was okay. Not bad but nothing special. Chuleta - I've never heard of this until now, but it's smoked pork chops. It tasted like bacon and was surprisingly good. Would recommend. Tripa - I didn't have any, but the boyfriend said it's the best tripa tacos he's had. Most places don't offer tripa, and the places that do offer it cook it a little too crispy. He said this one was the perfect balance of chewy and crispy. Would recommend. Cabeza - This is my favorite taco meat and they did not disappoint. Soft, juicy, tender. Would recommend. Lengua - Their lengua obviously has been braised for a long time. Most lengua is a little chewy but this one melts in your mouth. Unfortunately we prefer our lengua with a slight chew but this was still good depending on your preference. So tldr: Would recommend the cabeza and tripa tacos, and give the chuleta tacos a try if you like bacon. They're cash only so be sure to bring cash.
