I ordered Mojo Burger for the first time through door dash and the experience was fantastic! I ordered their vegetarian burger (minus the mayo and no cheese). In addition, I ordered their 1/2 fries and 1/2 onion rings to go along with my burger. The food was prepped rather quickly. My veggie burger was flavorful and contained a fair amount of veggies and ketchup. I was very happy with it. I also received a hefty amount of fries and onion rings for the price. Their fries were seasoned and cooked really well. The texture was perfectly crunchy yet soft at the same time. The best part of ordering food here was how accommodating they were. I specified I did not want my food packed in any form of plastic and that's exactly what they did. My food was wrapped in biodegrade paper wrapping and/or placed in a biodegradable container. I recently found out about Mojos when I was craving burgers last month and decided to Yelp best burgers in town and it led me here. My roommate and I went to the one in Willow Glen. He had a bacon cheeseburger and I had a mushroom and Swiss with bacon added. Between us, we shared a strawberry shake and chili and cheese fries. Mojo Burger has the best chili and cheese fries I've ever had. The chili was the perfect temperature, not too much to make the fries soggy and not too little to be lacking. The portion was enough for 2-3 people. We added a bit of the Randy's hot sauce on it and it made for the right amount of kick that added a lot of character to the fries. My roommate could not stop raving about his bacon cheeseburger and suggested I take a bite. He kept trying to share his burger throughout the entire meal as he thought it was the best one he's ever had. I liked the mushroom and Swiss with bacon. The bacon brought out the mushroom flavors. The shakes however did not go with the meal. We wanted to try it out because we love Strauss milk for its creamy, fresh taste. I thought the whole shake was organic as advertised. The lady behind the counter told us that although the milk they use is organic, the Torani syrup they added isn't. I didn't mind, I like Torani syrup once in a great while so we decided to go for it. The shake was too sweet. Between the two of us, we barely finished a third of it and although we don't waste food, we had to throw it away after trying to drink it for half an hour. While waiting for our food, it was stuffy inside. There was not enough ventilation. There was a small window that looked about 1ft by 1ft and was slightly ajar while the fan was on. The woman who was behind the counter went by our table and started talking to us. We let her know that this was our first time. She went on a huge tirade about the customer, telling us some were nice and others not so nice and ended up complaining about customers we did not know. For a first time visit, this left an impression. The next week while shopping at Fresh and Easy in the same mall, I went in to get chili and cheese fries. The man behind the counter was friendly and professional, unlike the last person. I ordered extra chili and was out of there in a few minutes. Yesterday on the way home from work, I called my roommate to ask him if he wanted me to bring home food. Vacillating between sushi and burgers, he asked that I pick up some Mojo Burger. When I got there it was the same lady behind the counter. I ordered the same two burgers and when I asked for extra chili on my fries she retorted, "You don't need extra chili." I've never felt that I had to justify why I want extra chili on my fries since I'm paying for it. I smiled and stated, "You may be right but it sure is delicious, please add the extra chili." While I waited for my food, she opened the chili pot, scooping up the chili to show me the thickness of the chili to substantiate her claim as to why my fries did not merit the extra chili. I nodded and smiled at her. When I got home, although I paid for it, my fries did not have the extra chili ordered. I'm docking two stars for her flippant and unprofessional attitude. read more

Sunday 11am, the place was completed empty, not even a guest, and I come inside and the first sentence is "I'm sorry our policy doesn't allow us to have a scooter/bike inside because of the other guests can you leave outside, please?" Then I told him that was my own scooter (not a rental) and there wasn't anybody there, but not problem, I could leave. Then, he said he would take my order and I could spend 5 min inside this empty store before other lawyer customers arrive. (What??) Service not good at all. My first time there and I'm not coming back. I was very specific that I wanted a burger with bacon and cheese and guy offered me the combo to complete my order. I accepted the combo and When my order arrived, it was a plan burger, without cheese or bacon. I went to talk to him and he said that the bacon with cheese doesn't come in a combo. What??? But I reminded him again that I ordered with bacon and cheese and he said I could add a combo. He did nothing about it and said the combo comes with plain burger. At the end, I felt like he didn't want me to come inside or outside, he didn't know how to explain this very small menu and the combinations and he tried very hard to upset me in every possible way. I am so regretted that even after the first approach I didn't leave the place (there are more than 5 rest in the same complex). The sweet potatoes fries were good though. read more

This burger joint provides a homemade flavored burger that tastes natural and not salty. Usually after eating burgers we are stuffed, but with mojo it was like eating a light meal that possibly you made at home. It was on the boring side and had left something to be desired. The regular burger was a 1/4 lb patty but qualified as a light dinner. The large fries were not that big, probably equivalent to a small at Wendy's. If you are really hungry I would recommend getting a double burger as not sure a regular would fill most people up. The fries are nothing to write home about but tasty enough. My kids burger looked like they just slapped on cheese at the end and was not melted. However, the owners are really friendly and kind and we like to support a local business. They try hard and want a happy customer. We will continue to come when we want a light, casual meal. Would like to see a more "Hawaiian spin" on some of their menu options since the owner lived in Hawaii. That would be fun and increase foot traffic. Hope they continue to succeed. read more

I was checking out this business mall and stumbled across this place. Given the number of classic cars, people eating outside and the nice neighborhood it was located in I thought I'd be getting a really nice grass-fed beef burger, what I got instead was some grease-laden nonsense. I dunno if it was the cheddar instead of American cheese that I got in my double classic burger, but I DEFINITELY felt that one go down. That not withstanding I'll still give this place other chances; I still haven't had their organic milkshakes but I did really like their fries. If they're using frozen fries they're doing a damn good job with those because they've got the most perfect crunch and are super fluffy on the inside. I give them a 3/5 because their prices are a little to high for the quality of their food and the cleanliness is not up to par for prices either. I understand their beef is advertised as "grass fed cows", but find them to be the same as a five guys, nation burgers or any stand alone burger shop. The only difference is this is a chain and when I'm paying $7-10 a burger (not including fries or a drink) I expect the burger to be completely fresh. I noticed the servers also talk to their friends and regular customers over those who come here once every few months or just as a stop along the road. Their drinks are also very expensive for the size of your cup, but you do get to refills. The overall cleanliness could be upgraded as well. In the kids area the chairs look very old and worn (they are the all plastic that darken over time), you can feel the grease in the air and the chairs/tables don't appear wiped every time someone leaves. I am willing to pay for the service and quality food I get, I understand this is a burger chain but if your food is going to be average and restaurant not constantly being cleaned then don't charge restaurant prices. Summer Tip: Wear shorts and a tee shirt. They use ceiling fans instead of air conditioning which mixes with the grease in the air from frying everything. read more

Mojo offers a wide variety of healthy, organic or free range meat options, which I have found hard to find in national franchises. Their menu lists organic beer, free range chicken and turkey, and even offer a tilapia burger, to name a few highlights I selected an organic beef burger with mushrooms and Swiss cheese. The flavor of the meat was delicious. Service was prompt and the food was piping hot when it came out. According to their signage, the ice cream used for shakes is made with organic dairy products. So, I am looking forward to trying a frozen treat on a future visit. Mojo just became my new go to burger joint. read more

I did not get an order of onion rings. I stated I did not get the onion rings. It turns out they put a couple of onion rings inside the burger, and you do not get a separate order of onion rings. The Mojo near to us closed, and we love the food, so we stopped in to the Foxworthy location. This location is super cute, but it could use a good cleaning. The floors and tables were sticky, and the front of the garbage can was pretty yucky. This is not your average burger joint! The ingredients are sourced locally (grass fed angus beef) and even the milkshakes are 100% organic. I ordered the Wild West Bacon Cheeseburger- double with chili cheese fries. My wife ordered the classic burger with sweet potato fries. I had a Beer and my wife a mineral water. My burger was superb, the bacon and the burger patty alone were clearly high quality with a superb taste - and the burger as a whole was one of the best I have tasted in Northern California. The fries had the twice-fried texture I've seen in gastro-pubs - very crispy on the outside but light and fluffy on the inside. They even serve a range of beers to wash down the delicious food. The service was warm and very friendly too. I would have given 5 stars but it's not exactly cheap - $37 plus tip so while it is a fast food ambience it's definitely not fast food prices. We will be back as the quality and taste are simply one of the best on the west coast. read more

First of all, I suffer from celiac, a disease where I cannot consume gluten, so your flours and wheats. I ordered a burger with cheese and a lettuce wrap due to my intolerance. They didn't have any gluten free buns. Also, all of their potato products had gluten in it as well, which is rare considering the fact that potatoes should just contain... potatoes. After receiving my oddly over priced burger, I noticed the cheese wasn't melted at all, it was cracking and cold, and I was so disappointed. I couldn't believe I'd paid 8 dollars for a skinny slab of meat and cold food. Shortly after going to my car, I accidentally drop it. I call Mojo Burger and state my concerns with dropping the burger and it not being cooked correctly, and I was first ignored, then the phone got handed off to the owner I suppose. He spoke to me as if I were stupid, said he could not switch out the burger, he couldn't give me a refund, and he was flat out rude. So first I paid way too much for a crappy burger, it wasn't cooked correctly, I voiced my concerns, and didnt get good customer service. I felt belittled, disrespected, and just flat out angry with my experience here. read more
