The decor is lacking seriously but the food was decent. I had a grilled cheese and chicken salad. The grill chicken was really tasty and the salad was large for the price. I wish the grilled cheese was more than a slice of Kraft on a hamburger bun, could have had condiments. read more

Want a tasty burger? COME HERE! Doesn't matter what you order because they are all good. My favorite is just the regular mojo with cheese. Meat seasoned well, grilled to order and produce that's fresh and crisp. The bun is soft and doesn't fall apart. Fries are pretty good and the shakes are winners all around. Price can be a liitle on the higher side but you get better burger for it. read more

We've actually been here a few times since we live just up the street. Good burgers, but a bit on the pricey side to feed the kids burgers. Mushroom Swiss Burger is quite good. Not sure if they are under new management or new ownership, but we walked in after a couple months only to find their Burger Punch Card (buy 9 and get the 10th free or something) was no longer accepted. There was a big sign saying they no longer took them even though we got it last summer. The person taking our order let us know as well and made little apology. This stuff makes me really upset. Stop handing them out, but at least honor the the cards that are still out there for those of us who made a point to bring them in visit after visit. They may have just lost a customer. read more

I am not sure what the difference is from any other burger place, except the higher prices. The fries were ok, the brix on the soda seemed off. The double classic seemed to taste like any other burger. It was kind of bland. I like good food and I'll say this is good. For the price, it should have been better. read more

In addition to what's been said, we appreciate Mojo Burger because at any time they have at least 1 veggie burger option on the menu (typically Boca and/or black bean patty) and sometimes even a fish sandwich special (right now, Tilapia). The staff are great, very friendly with the kids - they even have a dedicated kids' TV running Cartoon Network all the time, for when the sandwiches (and parents) get boring. It's becoming a pastime for us to bike to Mojo once every couple weeks. read more

The burgers are really yummy! I love the bacon burger. Nice crisp bacon. I always order mine "low carb" (lettuce wrap instead of bun). They do a nice job. Their chili is GREAT! Their Mimi Mo's are a good deal for the kids. Fries are crispy and hot. Customer service could use a little work. The guy I call "Mr. Mojo" is no longer around and the customer service went down since then. He was GREAT! They only got 4 stars, not because of the taste, but their prices are high. Just went today after wondering last night if San Jose had any burger joints besides In'N'Out. Yelped it and found this place. Came today, Monday at 130-2pmish and place only had three customers. Clean surroundings with easy parking in the CVC plaza. Ordered the Mojo burger combo with half and half fries and onion rings. $1 dollar upgrade. Ordered the burger with everything on it with a friendly cashier who told me about a punch card. Usual accruing of return visits gets you a free burger. Nice of em. $9.33 for entire meal. Burger was decent sized. nice fresh toppings of ketchup, mayo, lettuce, onion, pickle and american cheese. Tasty and juicy with a real grill flavor to it but like others have mentioned, not a showstopper.I go out to eat meals I can't duplicate at home and I've tasted this type of burger at home bbqs and ballparks before. Mojo was a bit of a hike for me so I doubt I'll even return. The fries and onion rings had the same taste. Nothing unique to it. Diner fries you can get at Denny's or Ihop or chili's or..you get the drift. Friendly staff however. Stay tuned for further updates on my burger search. I love Mojo Burger! I love that I am getting 100% grass-fed Angus beef. I love their fresh-cut french fries! I love that it's a locally owned and operated business. You can pay less at a place like McDonald's but you are also getting less - you are getting less quality products in your burger and your fries (although you do get more chemicals. :) For what they are serving (real meat, real food) and for being a local business without the buying power of a place like McDonald's I have always thought their prices were fantastic. read more

Based on my most recent visit, I'd give it 2.5 stars out of five. Went to Mojo's (on Foxworthy) around 5 PM on 4/12/13. There was a different cook working. I ordered the Double Classic Combination- from the board of specials on the left. I was very hungry and would have been happy with almost anything at that point. But the burger was so-o-o disappointing. The two thin patties were way too dry. And the amount of requested condiments (onion, lettuce, tomato, mayo, etc) that was put on the bun was very skimpy! Even the patties seemed thinner than usual. The fries were very good, although the server had tipped over my fries [which mixed with my friend's order] on the tray. I willingly accept the irritating noise level (very poor acoustics), but this location used to be my fave burger place. I want to give it another try, hoping that my next visit will be more satisfying. read more

So went to Mojo burger (first time) we hadn't even ordered yet n I was standing next to my girlfriend, moved her hair from her face and kissed her cheek, then started looking at the menu again the owner then comes out (talking on his phone) points his finger in our faces, says "I want to see both of you outside " his approach was so intense and rude, no sort of politeness whatsoever. We walked outside, he began to talk. I left to walk my now upset girlfriend and our child to the car. When I left he told my friend that I had my tongue down her throat and something about being fondled. So I then, calmly go back in to ask them what they were talking about n why they told my friend that. I asked to speak to the manager, his wife says she is, so I begin to talk but am spoken over so I can't get anything out. The owner comes out again so I asked him why he lied and said I was making out with my girlfriend? He then looked down, started to say something then said "I'm calling the cops!" I calmly walked away to go back to the car. However my friend was in there also, upset like myself. I just wanted to get an answer as to why he was so rude and lied about what happened in the first place and then leave.. not sure what was said when I left but on my end there were no threats, contrary to Jamie L' s story("they" does not include myself or my girlfriend) ALSO, sir we were not by the register, we were actually next to the door in front of the trash can.. which you'd know had you actually been paying attention. I handled myself calmly, I just wanted to speak briefly and leave. But was spoken over by management, I felt talked at not talked to. read more

Mojo Burger in Willow Glen was a pleasant surprise! First, I was able to get food @ 7 pm on a Sunday! The cashier was friendly and knowledgeable. They got my order right first time (I had three changes and 2 substitutions on 3 different classic Mojo Burgers). The burger was tasty- good quality meat, fresh bun. It was a tad over cooked though. I know they must cook it well done, but it was very well done, a bit dry. I found the dining room a bit sterile, makes you want take out only. But, the hand cut fries were delicious. Mojo Burgers replaced Big Dog. It is much cleaner and the food is good. I typically get the teriyaki chicken w/o pickles and mayo or the turkey burger w/o pickles and mayo. Both are great options. The fries are good and the onion rings are fabulous, the batter has a buttermilk flavor to it. The only downside for me is that the ventilation system still needs to be fixed. read more

I've been here 3 times sofar because its close to work so i usually go on my lunch but the first 2 times i went, i had a great experience, but this last time i went wasnt so great, i arrived and as soon as i was ready to order, the cashier picked up the phone and it wasnt a call for an order, it was a personal call, not very great customer service since she just stood there infront of me while on the phone. hope fully i dont experince that the next time i go. read more

I've been eating here for a few years. The hamburgers are pretty good and until recently the pricing was reasonable. Since the last time I was there, pricing has gone up, the portions are smaller. They've also changed fry style which I personally don't like. The combo deals are now more expensive (which is ok, their costs have up), but they're now giving you fewer fries, a smaller cup size and its more expensive. Still the staff is nice and it is an old fashioned burger place. read more

Great food frindly staff

Finally tried this place. This location is a hole-in-the-wall without the hole; a free standing store with indoor and outdoor seating. Not much special, other than good service and great food. I was very impressed with my double burger - tasted like it came off of an outdoor grill at the best family reunion BBQ ever. Fries and onion rings were also very good. The only bad part of the experience wasn't the fault of Mojo Burger; there was a group of biker wannabes, and one of the idiots had to sit down at the table next to us and light up a cigarette. Just had to mention how much I hate smokers... Otherwise, great experience! read more

I have been going to Mojo's for years. It all started with the one on Santa Teresa and Snell. YUMMY!!!! I have never written a review on Yelp until now!!!!! On Saturday, I lost my house key. I called Mojo's to keep an eye out if they found it. WELL... not only did they keep an eye out they called me and coordinated a time to get the key. They called right away and kept it safe :) THANK YOU!!!! Now to the best onion rings and bacon/western burger...... Mouth-watering delicious goodness!!! I have stopped here a couple times during lunch break at work, and have always been impressed with the food and service. the burgers seem fresh, reasonably priced, and while not the best burger I have ever had, Definately a step up from most fast food burgers. a good in between burger if you're trying to decide whether to go to a restaurant or a drive through. service is straight to the point. not too annoyingly talkative, but not rude either. just there to serve you what you came there for-a burger! read more

Mojo is great. Tastes amazing and it's quality food with high end ingredients. Sme people have mentioned the price is higher than typical fast food, but you won't find hormone free grass-fed beef at McDonald's. you get what you pay for and this is the best and healthiest burger around. Definitely a good burger choice alternative to jack in the box and McDonald's. The burgers as pretty basic and Im not quite sure if they use all USDA certified organic ingredients throughout the menu but ultimately i will be returning and recommending this place due to friendly customer service and delicious burgers. Been passing this burger joint for quite some time and i'm a sucker for a good burger so I finally decided to give it a go. I like that they use grass fed beef, free range chickens, organic shakes and so forth but the ultimate test is the taste. It's not a bad burger, but it's far from the best. I like the idea of charbroiling but the thin patties needs to be cooked on a flat top. They simply weren't as juicy as they could've been. The fries though were above average, they had a nice crisp to them. Same with the sweet potato fries. The beer batter opinion rings are excellent. And my daughter really enjoyed the tilapia burger. I had a vanilla shake and that was worth going back for. Thick and creamy and I'd finish my shake before I even realized it. It was that good. The service was very good and the owner was both helpful and friendly. Now the bad part, sort of. I found Mojo to be just a tad pricey. I say this because over the years I've been to many burger joints in the ba so I have many comparisons. For example that lg vanilla shake was $5.50 Overall i'd say a 2 1/2 star, but i can't leave a 1/2 star read more

Grass fed burgers for a great price! Plenty of parking and fast service. No gluten free options like other burger places though. I do appreciate venues that offer grass fed meat. read more
