Super fortunate to have a place like this in West Park. We visited this location a few times for the ice cream when it first opened. It was great. Today I went for breakfast. They have everything you could possibly want to drink. Coffee, soda, juice, beer, wine and even mimosas. The young woman taking my order was very polite and professional. It was very busy inside but it only took about 10 minutes to get my order. Once the weather gets better, I can see this place being a great location for sit down breakfast. The breakfast burrito is small and a bit bland but comes with a salsa to help brighten it up. Breakfast sandwich is large and comes with a chipotle aioli on it, that was delicious. Cinnamon roll is amazing. Can't wait to go back and give some of the other items a try. Lunch menu looks good. read more

I had been meaning to check out this newish coffee house in West Park area. It's hard to find on Pleasant Grove, poor visibility. And it has lousy access to and from its parking lot. Interior has two long (8 foot) wood tables and some smaller ones, but there was nobody seated except for me. I was there from 8 to 9 a.m. They drew some high school kids with back packs and smart phones. My coffee was served in a traditional cup, no saucer. It was awkward to handle. I spilled some. Banana nut bread was a thick slice. Youngsters handled the counter, doing good work.This is a good concept for a neighborhood coffee house. Hope it succeeds. I am a daily regular at Panera'a and I won't abandon Panera's. It's closer to home, the coffee is cheaper and they have a program where coffee sipping is free daily if you pay $9 a month. read more

Okay good for breakfast. Crepes, cinnamon rolls are awesome. I also like the ice cream. Staff, and service also fine. I'm sorry, but I took off 2 stars because the lattes, espresso are really bitter to me. The house coffee is just okay. I like every Starbucks, Pet's, Duncan, Panera, and even McDonalds. I just can't drink my fav latte/expresso there. I tried 5 times lol. For me not great coffee there. read more

Tried out Mojoe's today. I wanted a smoothie as there weren't enough space to eat inside so we stayed at the patio & needed something to keep me cool in this 100 degree heat. Their smoothie options are limited & I have a nut allergy. The cashier was kind enough to substitute the peanut butter when I wanted the peanut butter mocha smoothie but no peanut butter. He said I could add in anything that I wanted and I chose strawberries. The drink ended up being $10.78 & they charged me to substitute strawberries into my smoothie which I wasn't aware of. I let it slide since I understand they were accommodating my request but still wished they were transparent that they would charge me to substitute the ingredient. I got my smoothie and it wasn't even cold despite them handing it to me after blending it. It just seemed like I was drinking a regular "melted ice" mocha & not a smoothie. For the price, not worth it. I should've just bought Gunther's Ice cream at the back area. I could've spent $10 at jamba juice for better quality & a bigger size. read more

The best thing about MoJoe's is the casual atmosphere and outdoor seating. The food is average (and overpriced) and is often hit-or-miss. For example, when I've ordered oatmeal, it sometimes comes with honey, pecans, and bananas (as per the menu); and other times something is missing (the last time I got it, the pecans and honey weren't in it). For breakfast recently, I ordered an egg and cheese burrito (not on the menu, but can be requested), and the egg wasn't done. I don't mind a runny yoke, but the white wasn't done and the cheese was in no way melted. It was barely warm, so I ended up throwing it away since the egg wasn't cooked properly. That being said, I will still go there for the ambience, but I'll stick with food that is pretty consistent; e.g., veggie quesadilla. I will say that their chocolate muffins are the best I've ever had. read more

The food was fresh and tasty. We had the avocado toast, panini, and the cheese panini with tomato soup combo. The service was amazing. The most courteous staff. (I know it's not always possible, but) Even when it was closing time, they didn't rush us. Since we asked for it to go, they made the açaí bowl as we were leaving so it could be fresh. Went in for breakfast to-go. I was excited to see a smoked salmon bagel option. Per the menu the "Smoked Salmon" is smoked salmon, cream cheese, capers, red onion, on a toasted everything bagel. I ordered this to-go, got my food and headed home. When I opened the box I saw a plain, untoasted bagel, with smoked salmon, cream cheese, and capers. So no red onion, no toasted everything bagel. When I was ordering it was NOT communicated that they were out of ingredients and I would not be receiving what was listed on the menu. read more

Best new local coffee shop and cafe!! The drinks are always spot on perfect! I can back twice this weekend for the avocado toast and my boyfriend got the wrap two days jn a row as well! They have fun knickknacks, as well as candy, ice cream, and bottled soda/beer/kombucha/wine! This is such an awesome place and all the employees have been super nice too! The vibe of the place is that of an Emeryville coffee house. They have some excellent pastries and espresso drinks. Their cinnamon rolls are big with super creamy frosting and very satisfying. Friendly service. It was busy on a late morning on Saturday. read more

We have been waiting for MoJoes to open for so long! I'm so happy that we have something we can just walk to. Staff is very nice and so is the manager. They have done an amazing job with the interior. Local coffee and ice cream. They are very new so service is pretty slow; we waited about 20-25 minutes this morning to get our coffee. The prices are bit steep for treats like muffin, ice cream and cinnamon roll. We will keep supporting them but just my two cents to improve. read more

The coffee is okay. Oddly, I actually think Starbucks and Peet's is better. Ordered a cinnamon roll that looked really good however, it tasted very stale. The frosting was really good, but the cinnamon roll itself tasted like it was a week old. I couldn't even eat it. Went on Sunday morning to meet a friend to catch up and visit. Went back as I said I would to pick up the sourdough French toast and a muffin. They open at 6:00 and I was there at 6:10, they had very little in the display. I asked the non interested staff member for a muffin and she said "what do you want", "uh, what do you have, maybe blueberry?". She yells to the back, nothing was ready- "maybe 30 minutes!" The spot is ADORABLE and has such great potential. As a coffee person, the coffee is just okay. Strong vote for a less acidic, fruit forward bean and provide an option for beans with more chocolatey-earth notes. Maybe add some house made vanilla, caramel and chocolate syrups. Those are small changes with big impact for your higher price point. Speaking of price point....their pricing is off and needs to be evaluated to make more sense. A single shot of espresso is pricey at $3, and a double is $4 which is nuts. So when you get an Americano for $5 (water and espresso) you are paying $1-$2 of a premium for simply adding water to your beverage. I keep going back because of its ideal location but man, I'm always disappointed because it could be so much better! read more

So disappointed. I was looking forward to walking to get my coffee in the morning, but the coffee is sub-par (I visit all the spots in Sac and Placer county and this ranks pretty low... so sad). The first coffee had such a sour taste it was stomach turning, and after trying a few more times that first year I gave up. I tried it again in 2023 and the coffee is the only thing that has improved-- somewhat. Several other issues is that it's just too overpriced and they now only have one size coffee, breakfast items (burrito, egg bites, etc.) are not good (see other reviews for my same experience), and the staff is unbelievably "bland". Not overtly rude, but not friendly. They don't seem to take any pride in what they do and are just going through the motions until they clock out. This is surprising because I believe it is the same owner as Kitchen 747 and our service and the food at the restaurat is amazing. Most coffee barista's and staff at least appear like they love their job, and I know plently that do! Please step it up.... I really want to love this place. read more

Want to do tree and a half the food was good quality. The service was alright a little slow but good. The overall atmosphere was a little loud and not really cozy. NOTE the biggest factor of this review was the price, I know with the economy and inflation but everything was on the pricier side, would recommend if it's for family or things like that but note if your looking for a quick coffee or things like that. read more

Found this spot on Yelp and it did not disappoint. Tried the iced snickerdoodle latte, 1/2 amount of sweetener and it as great!

Delicious ice cream ! Haven't had the other food yet, usually have a meal at 747 next door and MoJoe's for treats after dinner.
