I have to say....this is one of the worse places I have ever been to. The place was crowded with nasty people. We picked the wrong day to be out at this place. Went here on a Saturday with friends...we were dancing and minding our own business, suddenly there was these 5 nasty sloppy chicks dancing and trying to make their way to through the crowd. One of them keeps bumping into my friend, didn't even apologized, they were all belligerently drunk and obviously a bunch of idiots. One of my girlfriends confronted one of them and asked her to cool it. She thought she was bad because she was BIGGER in size...trying to stir trouble...we were ready to take on those beach whales, good thing our guy friend got in the middle. As the night progress, another incident happened. This time 2 dudes were trying to stir trouble with my 2 other girlfriends. They were at the bar trying to order some drinks for us, these 2 white guys cut in front of them, I guess they knew the bartender. So what? That gives you the rights to cut in front of someone? On top of that, they were making derogatory remarks to my friends. They were being racist...I didn't appreciate that so I stepped in, this guy thinking he's a bad ass and got crazy...little does he know, my guy friend was standing next to me. He threw this guy against the wall and head butt and choked the other guy. I hope they learn their lesson, think twice, the next time they open their mouth...hope you like your beating, DUMB ASS!The bouncer kicked those 2 out because they started and the people, who witnessed the incident, backed us up 100%. With 2 bad incidents in one night, we managed to make the best of it. I will never come here again. Everything about this place sucks, mostly the people. Bad things happen at ghetto places because of ghetto people. One last thing...they need to get rid of that bartender! She was rude and bitchy! This place deserves zero stars! So I happen to be a big believer in how much fun you have when you go out depends greatly on who you go out with. I happen to hang out with pretty awesome people so that has never been a problem for me. This place is nice. The bartenders get to you within a reasonable amount of time and the music is great to dance to. About the music, we tried to request a song to be played and his response was" Oh I only have videos." So my understanding is that he can only play songs that he has videos for?? Well I don't need the video to dance, so get the damn song! The dance floor is one of the smallest spaces I have seen in a long time. Seriously move the pool tables out and extend the dance floor. You can't even use the table at the time when everyone is dancing so there is really no point of them being there. I think the place is cool ,but it could really be bigger. I love this bar where else can you go and kick it with friends and party with the best djs. Coming into the bar and the frist thing you see is a sexy door girl. Im glab that the bouncers check for Weapons not many places check for weapons. My girl told me she feels safe going there. Ok I have to get this off my chest I came in one night and was in line waiting for a long timeto come in when there was this girls taking there time causes they didn't want to pay $5 come on people its only $5 I know dinner and other clubs is more then that. If you don't want to pay $5 then stay home. I've been there on a Friday and it was fun! People are nice and the bartenders are cool. I liked the new video mixing that I saw on the day before halloween 10/30/09, some clips very funny! The music was fun to get down to, the DJ knew how to keep me on the dance floor, he played all the songs that I like to hear. He even played some back in the day songs that brought back memories! My friends and I loved it and had fun. I don't know what this dush bag is talking about the wekends at Molly are fun and the DJs are nice. He probably works there on Thursday nights that's why he is talking so highly of himself to try to get people to go on his night. This spot is garbage. WAY too crowded. We stayed for about 5 mins and was already desperate to flee this joint. Almost IMPOSSIBLE to leave cause it was SO DAM CROWDED! I Felt like i was unlawfully imprisoned in a cramped cell with old dirty assholes in cowboy boots trying to do the 2 step. So we finally left after about 5 mins( there was only a 5 dollar cover that night, but It was all bad cause my friend paid for the 4 of us) I snapped at one of the meat-head bouncers right before we left, because he tried to orderl me to take my hoodie off ....even though I was 10 ft away from the exit and CLEARLY leaving the shithole. .....but if you have some of pent up anger and frustration and want to yell at some bouncers, then check this place out...the bouncers here are pussies.. read more

I'm not a huge fan of the music they play or the drunk douchebags who can't dance or take no for an answer. I'm even less of a fan of their cover charge. Really? You want me to pay to be in the vicinity of alcohol,beer guts, and wannabe fratboys? No thanks,I'm willing to check out the bars next door without the silly cover. First time I have been here , everyone seems pretty friendly and cute bartenders. The music sucked the DJ tonight should of sticked playing hip hop even though im not the hugest hip hop fan i did enjoy some of the hip hop tunes he played instead of the crap electro house shit. Out of the two years i have been in caly so far i admit this club is fun, definatley in the top 100 things so far in caly thats decent, its kinda sad this club is a bit more fun then high class mighty and ruby skye lol but it is what is, kudos to the club owners even though i left early cause of the shit music. If you're looking to go dancing with your girlfriends, don't come here... This place is a hub for creepy dudes. It gets insanely packed on the weekends and there's barely room to breathe on the dance floor. Creepy dudes and tiny dance floors are never a good combo. The bar is average, decent prices, cool Irish pub decor. They have a pool table and a nice little patio in the back. The Friday night DJ is pretty badass. He plays a good mix of old school hip-hop and current hits. All in all, this would be a great place if I could just kick out the large assortment of douchebags. read more

Bar was of nice size, lots of beers and spirits, pool area was cool and crowd what you expect in Mountain View. But, although the bartender seemed like just the right kind of quirky character, he began to yell at his girlfriend because she was being "jealous". I was sitting there the whole time and never saw the girlfriend act crazy, seemed like a overreaction and just plain not right to address the drama at the bar. Good music and great bartenders. So many places the bartenders are not eager to please. The drinks are cheap and the atmosphere is enjoyable. They have a good layout, there is a patio where you can drink and smoke, and the inside is a cozy bar. Everything looks nice and is well kept up (except the bathrooms eck). From the sound of it, the Jukebox has nothing newer than the early 90's, but it's decent as is the sound system. The only problem I had there, were the roudy, annoying college boys. read more

Picks up on people who are trying to have fun. Tonight he fought with a friend of ours with no fault of my friend. Beat my friend up and put him in jail. This past sat night was great. Video mixing is a plus you get to dance then take a break & see your favorite videos! Its also great that they actually mix it up and play old & new stuff. They have this fat curly haired bouncer who likes to pick on guests and ruined more than one night. We We used to come here pretty regularly, until last night my friend finally questioned him why he's always trying to be a dick (yea ok, he said it in a nice way). They slammed him down on the street and called the cops, treated him like a criminal and lied to the cops about him being aggressive which got him a night in jail. Been here plenty of times. Always consistent with what it has to offer. Very diverse crowd. I always see something interesting. The back area is my favorite. You cant compare this place to anywhere in the city. Its more of a local cool place to go when you don't want to get too crazy. I always end up in the back drinking and smoking cigs. I always end up meeting some random people. Overall its pretty fun. Just don't expect it to be like the city. read more

But I have observed and experienced racist behavior apparently from a short black bouncer there towards brown people and forces me to write a negative review. Good location. Good locals. Slow bartenders, rude douchehammer security (the younger white dude on many occasions). Cover for a pub. Hah. Proof that a good location can make money, despite being below average as a pub. Go to St. Stephen's, they have food, similar prices and usually no cover/powertripping security. read more
