Their new location in Arcadia is a lot more convenient to park at vs. the other location in San Gabriel. Love love love the Champaca Milk Tea, would drive 30+ miles just to get it. Ordering is convenient via the kiosk but if you come on a weekend, prepare for a longgggg wait. I think it took about 45 min for my group of friends to get our drinks on a Saturday evening. Have also tried the Jasmine Milk Tea and Peach Oolong Milk tea and they were all solid, but the Champaca Milk Tea is what brings me back - there's nothing else like it! Can't wait for Molly Tea to open in the OC! read more

Molly tea always hits. They have one of the best jasmine milk tea selections of any boba shop (which is what they specialize in). Their non-Jasmine teas are also good. Parking at this location is much more manageable than the other locations. Glad they're opening up more shops in SGV and OC too. read more

My party visited Molly Tea in Arcadia during the early evening, and to my surprise, there was no line. Given the brand's growing popularity, their drinks are typically worth a 20 to 30 minute wait, so being able to walk right in was a pleasant bonus. We ordered their new spring release, the "Premium Jasmine Coconut Tea," which also came with a complimentary bunny refrigerator magnet, a nice touch. In terms of the drink, the highlight was definitely the coconut foam on top. I recommend trying it on its own before mixing, as it has a rich, floral flavor and a well-balanced coconut taste that is not overpowering. The foam itself was excellent. However, the drink as a whole fell short for me. The flavor profile reminded me more of orange juice than the expected mango or pineapple notes. I was particularly looking forward to the mango flavor, and as someone who really enjoys mango, my expectations may have been higher than usual. As I continued drinking, I noticed a citrusy, slightly bitter taste that resembled fruit zest, similar to pineapple rind but closer to orange zest in flavor. This was unexpected and not entirely enjoyable for my palate. Overall, while I am glad I tried their spring seasonal offering, I would not order this drink again. Stopped by Molly Tea on soft opening day (Monday 1/26) after eating lunch with my friend. This little shop is located in Arcadia in the plaza with JJ Bakery and Chef Tony. This is the second Molly Tea I have been to, with the first one being in San Gabriel. Today, I ordered a Floral Jasmine Milk Tea with 25% sugar. There was a line today, but unlike the time I was in San Gabriel, the wait time was more manageable. Drink Quality: Very distinct Jasmine flavor, you can actually taste the flowers in the tea. A-/B+ Price: Expensive. Approximately 6.99 plus tax for the drink. In a higher-end community, but since they don't make the tea to order, it is a little high for the amount/quality you get. B Ambiance/Service: Standard service, nothing that stands out. Lots of staff probably due to the opening day, I'm pretty sure they will cut the staff hours after the hype dies down, since there are at least five other tea spots within 5 minutes of here. B Overall Rating: B. If someone from Arcadia/Temple City doesn't want to drive to San Gabriel, find parking in their small lot (although not too much better here), and wait a long time, here's the place. Soft opening discount was 12%, grand opening is BOGO. I just passed by the place today and saw the line wrapped around the block. I'll skip the BOGO. Would I come back: Probably not. read more

I went on a date here LOL. The plaza that it is in, I can say it that it can get busy and parking can become a problem but I arrived here at 9am so parking was not bad. This is my first time here and the place itself and it's not as big but it's not small either I think when it's busy it can easily get crowded and I heard that the SGV location is a bit bigger + they have seatings outside ! There are seatings inside at this location but when it got crowded there were no seats! My date and I ordered via kiosk and the drinks were interesting but I purchased a peach oolong milk tea and I didn't know what to expect. Our order came out pretty quick and I thought it was a hot drink but it's cold and delicious ! Refreshing without the peach flavor being overpowering and I would have to say the tea taste was prominent without disrupting flavors of the milk and peach ! It was nicely sweetened and balanced. This was my first time trying Molly Tea, and I really enjoyed their premium jasmine tea - so fragrant and delicious at their recommended sugar and ice levels. I stopped by on a weekday evening and it was steadily busy. Kiosks were easy to use and service was quick. Camellia oolong: 5/10 - I noticed this with the camellia zest too, but I feel like whatever flavor the camellia is supposed to provide is very light and not very noticeable. Stopped by Jasmine Milk Tea to try their new drinks, and I honestly get the hype now. This is hands down some of the best milk tea I've had in LA so far. Matcha White Orchid Cheese Foam This one surprised me the most. First sip was an instant "wow." I actually drank it without a straw because you can taste the layers better that way. The matcha, floral notes, and the salty cheese foam all come through, and it never feels heavy or too sweet. Jasmine Milk Tea (classic) A must-order. The sweetness and milkiness are perfectly balanced. The jasmine aroma is really clean and refreshing, not overpowering at all. After this, a lot of other milk teas just don't compare. Needle King Apple (new drink) I got this with less ice and 70% sugar, and it was super refreshing. You can really taste the fresh apple flavor, not artificial at all. It's light, crisp, and honestly something I haven't had at other boba shops around here. Bonus points for the location -- plenty of parking, which makes a huge difference in LA. This place is officially the "it" spot right now, and the parking lot definitely feels the pressure. The Vibe: The interior is super modern, clean, and well-lit. Even though it's packed, the service is actually great, the staff is hustling to keep up with the hype. The Tea: They are famous for their Fragrant Jasmine tea, which you can get with all sorts of different fillings. It's super refreshing, but my personal winner was the Osmanthus Milk Tea. The floral flavor is spot on and not too overpowering. The Reality Check: * Parking: It's a struggle. So glad Molly Tea is in my area now. Love their floral teas. Wish they had more English speaking staff. I will be back now that it's here in Arcadia. One star off for messing up my order (not confirming my order, not asking me how sweet I want my drinks, how much ice I want) and then making me wait 25 minutes for my order when others after me got their drinks in 5 minutes. I am pretty sure they gave my order to the wrong guest. I will return to try other drinks but maybe wait until they.figure out theirs kinks, hopefully soon. My fingers are crossed. FYI, I wrote this review to get a free floral sachet. My daughter got one too just for being there to support me in writing this review. The tea cube special sounded unique so I gave it a try. It had a strong tea taste. The tea cubes were squishy and had a firm jelly texture. This drink would definitely fall more towards the chocolatey side. I felt that it was still sweet at 25% sugar, but I'd still get it again! I haven't stopped thinking about the drink since I had it yesterday. Definitely will need to stop by again soon to fix my craving for it.
