You can order online for pick up later, but we had something cancel on us since it was out of stock (didn't know until we got there and it said our drinks were ready, but one was cancelled, so we just had to order again from the kiosk and wait for quite awhile). Because the hype is real and since it's a pretty decent tea place, this place is FISTED, do not even try to park in their plaza since it is tiny and there are pedestrians and NPC's waiting around that will likely just walk into your car. The neighborhoods surroundings are quite packed too, so you might have to circle around a couple of times. The aesthetic is on point with what's trendy now. There's a photo op outside, the designs of the cups and bags are aesthetically pleasing and they do sell their own line of merch like keychains, etc. I feel like many Chinese tea franchises are doing this now but they have those small, trio fused straws that help you savor the flavor of tea better, which is a nice touch and definitely slows me down from inhaling the entire thing. I got to try both their Peach Tieguanyin Oolong Milk Tea with less ice and 70% sugar and their Gardenia Milk tea with the same specs. Nice flavor, very creamy and smooth drink. It's not overly strong but not weak either, perfect in between and the level of sweetness was ideal as well. My friends and I passed by this Molly Tea, and I've been hearing about them ever since they opened up. Naturally, we took a stop here as I was curious to see what all the hype was about. Parking is very small and hectic, but we were able to find a spot. That was during non-peak hours (Sunday at around 1:20pm), so I cannot imagine how it is when it is peak hours. The interior is quite pretty and clean. While there was no line out the door as I've seen before, it was still pretty crowded inside to the point I was bumping into other people. Anyways, I ordered on their kiosk and got the Snowy Jasmine which is one of the must-tries. I got it at their suggested levels (70% sweetness, less ice). I waited 15 minutes for my order. For $8, the drink was absolutely not worth it. I've heard everyone rave about how fragrant their jasmine tea is, and... it barely was. I even let my friend try it, and she said it was just okay. On my first sip, it already tasted a bit watery, and by the time I got home, it just tasted like water with a hint of jasmine. Wish there was a way for them to efficiently track drinks. Waited for over 2hrs (even though we know we didn't have to) but it seemed too much of a hassle to cancel and we didn't want to just leave. The staff were overloaded, I hope their management finds a way to efficiently make their jobs less chaotic on a busy day. The drinks were not too bad however, it felt like I was drinking straight up milk and cream with a dash of flavor. Their AC was also broken on a hot day but I know that's not the employees fault. Finally got around to reviewing Molly Tea, tried it on numerous occasions during their grand opening range along with visits way after their grand opening. Busy at most hours of the day, always a bit of a wait every time, 10 minutes minimum. Molly Tea is pretty big for a boba shop, with moderate amounts of tables and slide benches for customers. Some outdoor tables as well fitted with a very small & cramped parking lot. All visits I've had, street parking here is best since it's free. Two kiosks is now available for customers to order which is great to speed up the process. Cashier ordering is also available when it's not busy. The inside TV is very helpful to see the status of your order but obviously, can be very clustered since the shop is always busy. One thing I can appreciate about Molly Tea is that their drinks are very well made. Quality is definitely sky high here which is a must because their drinks are definitely on the more expensive side of a boba store. They have very well matcha as all their matcha drinks have a smooth, rice, herb taste to it. Combined with the milk tea, it's a perfect combination. Definitely a more "healthier" option when it comes to their drinks. My wife and I both love their matcha, especially the white champaca Matcha Milk Tea. My wife decided for the Peach Tieguanyin Oolong Milk Tea this time around. Both drinks were light and refreshing, not too long of a wait despite how insanely packed this shop is. I thought this place was going to be all aesthetic/hype and subpar taste, but I was so glad to be wrong! I am happy to say their drinks are as delicious as they are beautiful! We ordered the jasmine milk tea and osmanthus milk tea, and both were perfectly sweetened and creamy. It was balanced and delicate, and the tea really shone through without being too floral. Second time coming and I love this place! Never felt like they were understaffed but they do get very busy so wait times vary. You can order on the 2 kiosks so ordering is very simple. Finally checked out the famous molly tea! This place is known for its jasmine, as they claim to use premium grade jasmine tea in their drinks. I ordered the snowy jasmine (which is jasmine milk tea with jasmine flavored whipped cream on top) along with the jasmine milk tea to try. I agree that the jasmine flavor is very strong, and has nice floral notes with each sip. I ordered with 100% sweetness and that was perfect for me since the drinks are not that sweet to begin with. The aesthetics of shop is also very modern, and lots of seating. Cons: I didn't like that it took nearly 15-20 minutes for my drink to come out (despite me coming in shortly after they opened) and the cost was around $15 for these two drinks which didn't even come with toppings. Also the parking lot is very small so you likely will need to do street parking. Do I think this is the best jasmine milk tea I've ever had? No, but maybe my palette isn't as refined and I really like wushiland's jasmine milk tea already. I do think overall this is a solid tea place but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. read more

My current favorite drinks are the matcha salted cheese drinks and peach oolong milk tea. They also have an happy hour code from 3pm to 5pm, Monday to Thursdays. You gotta get the most current code from their IG though. They close at 11pm everyday so it's another reason I come here a lot as most places closing at 9pm max during weekdays. As an night owl I appreciate this a lot! I recommend parking on the street as their parking out in front is small and tight. Street parking isn't too bad if your are able to walk but just know they do get busy so you might have to go park the next street over as there is a lot of residents also trying to park on the street. For those tight on time during weekends or busy times, I recommend ordering online and you can pick up from the side but usually the wait isn't too bad. Their online order bags are sealed (ordering in store is a different bag) which is cool so people don't worry about their drinks tampered with or anything if you were to get them delivered by a driver. Service has been fantastic everytime so far and they have been pretty quick with our orders. Remember to show them your order ready text or receipt when you pick up your order. I think my only complaint about this place is I would see their trash cans very full outside so maybe would be better if they can empty it more from time to time. I immediately ordered on the self-service kiosk. (Important Note: The parking situation is awful. Don't park in the tiny front lot. It fits only four cars, and I observed those parked vehicles getting trapped as other cars forcefully stopped behind them. I found parking in the nearby neighborhood, but it took a few minutes to walk to the front doors of Molly Tea.) On the self-service kiosk, I ordered the Premium Jasmine Milk Tea ($6.99) and Premium Jasmine Matcha Milk Tea ($6.99). I paid with card, and I had to insert my cell phone number. When ready, I received a text. In addition, the number appears on a screen, and an a.i. voice announces my receipt's number. My drinks took seven minutes and nine seconds for completion. Staff barely interacted with customers. Staff worked hard in the background. Staff felt cordial and quick as they handed my order. As mentioned, I found my drinks unmemorable. They were thirst quenching, but they did not feel special nor memorable. The Premium Jasmine Milk Tea tasted like chill milk with very faint jasmine. Its floral flavor barely tickled the palate. Fortunately, the Premium Jasmine Matcha Milk Tea tasted slightly better. The drink also had that predominant milk taste with a very subtle floral aftertaste. Its matcha felt smooth, but its jasmine tasted like I was nibbling microscopic flavored teardrops. Guests must use a lot of imagination to fool themselves into tasting its flavors. Still, these drinks were not bad. But they felt like a trending cash grab. Regarding ambiance, Molly Tea (San Gabriel) is gorgeous. If searching for a location to take beautiful photos, this is prime real estate. The location feels upscale. The seating is very comfortable. I even found myself happily bopping my head to its chirpy music which reminded me of Universal Studio's Super Mario World. Molly Tea (San Gabriel) is also very clean and inviting. The location has nine plush benches, seven tiny chairs, and 11 round tables. There's even a gender neutral restroom. It also has an attractive front patio that glistened with bright pink and cute pastel colors. It's a very cute destination. Overall, Molly Tea (San Gabriel) is unspectacular but inoffensive. I got the Matcha Jasmine Milk Tea, while my family got the Jasmine Milk teas. Iced with 70% sweet, these had phenomenal jasmine flavor, and milk that wasn't at all overpowering in taste in the way that milk teas often can be overly creamy or milk-tasting.. It was like someone ~milked~ a jasmine flower straight into the cup with how strong the flavor came about, and how floral it tasted. The straws were an interesting situation -- they give you a really unique one that I'd describe as tiny little coffee straws, 3 of them, united together. I'm not sure if I was supposed to be sipping from it, but I felt like I was using my entire lung span to get that out. My partner offered some nice perspective, however, and said it allowed him to appreciate the taste more and take his time to savor the flavor of the tea. Molly Tea (est. 2025) is a popular brand new tea shop from China. It offers wide variety of floral tea flavors, which provide a unique taste. What captivating was their visually pink rose cups and calligraphy design. Hence, the newest hype in the valley. I normally not give in to this kind of hype but this one got me interested. Because night after night I always see a large gathering of young people on Molly Tea. Alas, I came on a late afternoon and was impressed by its spacious interior and decor. I used the kiosk and ordered a Peach Tienguanyin Oolong Milk Tea x sago. It has an interesting floral flavor, light in taste and sweet but not too sweet. Minutes after drinking I experienced an upset stomach. :( I am befuddled why people are so into Molly Tea. Perhaps you need to be under Sauron's spell to like it. Prices were expensive. Plenty of street parking. Service was good. Atmosphere was okay. Staff were helpful and kind. Overall, I had an upset stomach and that's the end of it. I am really disappointed in their online ordering system. I love Molly Tea. Their drinks are good and it's busy FOR a reason, but they need to fix their given estimated times for online orders. When I placed the order online, it said 25-35 minutes. I ordered at 4:30 and I waited until 5:30. When I went up to the counter, they said it's going to take an additional 40 minutes. Like I said, it's not their fault that it's busy--I'm happy for them and I wasn't upset, but the online ordering system should NOT say 25-35 minute wait. I ended up cancelling my order. I guess lesson learned, add an additional hour wait to your expected time. 2 stars because I still love their drinks. read more
