You are paying for the view. The food is mediocre between 1-2 stars. If you order your lamb chops medium they will come out burned. Appetizers are a hit and miss. Shrimp Santorini, Greek salad were okay. Salmon tartare was terrible. I do acknowledge though that their bread and hummus were pretty good, but olives should be pitted. Next the entree, seafood orzo was cold and didn't taste good, lamb chops were burned, grilled bass was okay but too much bone left on the plate. It's very unappetizing that every other bite you get a fish bone. Now to the service it's around zero stars. the wait is way too long. We arrived at 7:30, made it to the table by 7:40, ordered by 7:50, the appetizer came at 8:50, the entree at 10pm. Dessert was around 10:30 and we decided to leave at that point, Some left before the dessert. The dessert tasted terrible. Baklava was too syrupy. I have been to several Greek restaurants. The food tastes 10 times better at a much better price. The view, however, is amazing and deserving of 5 stars, but you are paying 2-3 times the price for mediocre food and terrible service. read more

Went there with my boyfriend for Sunday brunch. Was surprised to see we were the only ones there! Service was wonderful. Complimentary bread with fresh butter and jam was provided before our entrees. We both had the lobster eggs Benedict which was delicious! Portions were perfect size and they also have a bottomless Bellini/Bloody Mary/mimosa special for $16 with your entree. I'm very picky with Bloodies and hate when they are made with cocktail sauce. It's the only reason I'm giving it four stars. I switched to a mimosa which was MUCH better. I'll have to try the Bellini next time I go. The view is beautiful and it really wasn't overly expensive. Great spot! read more

Was having a lovely, celebratory dinner with my niece and her fiance after she purchased her first home. Dinner was good, ambiance was great, our waiter, Nicholas, was fine... until it came time to pay our bill. He presented us with our dinner check and I handed him my credit card. After running the card, he came back, leaned in close, handed me my check and said he prefers his tip in cash. Baffled, I asked him to repeat what he just said. Once again, he said he prefers his tip in cash. That didn't sit well, and I mentioned this to the manager. Left a bad taste in my mouth. Hence the 1 start. Other then the view, the place is mediocre. The place was empty and it still took the bartender over 15 minutes to realize we were even there. We ordered a few appetizers, one being meatballs. When we got them the outside was warm, and the inside of the meatballs were still cold as if they just came out of the fridge. Our dinner was ok, although my expectations were a lot higher. This was probably a restaurant that we where expecting alot from it. We went yeaterday to ceebrate my friend birthday. Upon arrival we where greated by hostees which was nice and respectful. Took us to our reserved table which was great despite the fog and horrible weather yesterday at nyc. Order for drinks was taken we ordered beer and cocktails. 4 beers came hot as the sun and they tried bringing "colder ones" but they where worse. Appetizer where good but when the order came my food never showed up at the table. The steak was not the correct one after waiting additional 20 minutes after all. Overall food presentation was good and portions where fine. They could do a better job at organizing in the kitchen and having cold drinks. A friend who lives right next door to this restaurant warned me not to go eat here but just for drinks and appetizers. Boy, he was right. Despite how dead it was, the service was very slow. I almost walked out while waiting. The table next to us was getting complimentary bread and cheese plate and was getting served before us despite they came 15 mins after us. I had to ask for some bread and cheese as well. And the server goes "Oh, I didn't know you wanted it." Uhm the table next to us didn't ask for it either, you served it to them though. The food wasn't good. My husband's filet tasted dry and tasteless. I even forgot what I got because it wasn't good. My sister got some kind of pasta, and she's not the type to complain but she complained that it wasn't good and definitely not worth the wait. Me and my husband almost die. I call the place Sunday Morning I asked for the manager and the girl goes the manager is busy can I take your information. I was waiting no one called back. Made reservations and when arrived had to wait 10 minutes. Was seated at table to wait an additional 20 minutes and no one even check in or asked if something was needed. Walked out and even that did not catch anyone attention. Any customer that walks out of an establishment without ordering are normally asked what went wrong and the manager will use said information to educate staff. It's unfair that there is no 3.5 star option and as such this place is above the 3-star rating I gave it. I want so much more for this restaurant and it truly has the potential but this potential is often unrealized. For starters this may be the best view of any restaurant in or around NYC. You have midtown west right in front of you, with all its grandeur. The restaurant prices itself as a high class establishment and in so doing must adhere to that code of service of the higher echelon, but it falls a bit short. For instance, seating a table should be handled a certain way, the presentation of the fish, when they are brought over to the table for inspection before cooking should be done a bit more delicately. The meal should be brought out at the same time, that no person with an empty space before them is forced to watch his or her companions eat. The entrees were very good but the appetizers seemed a bit gimmicky with regard to the portions, whereas the salads were ample and good. A few changes here and this is a 5-star gem. read more

Apps of salmon tartare was spot on, generous and super fresh as well as a beautiful presentation of a traditional Greek salad perfectly dressed. Unfortunately the entrees fell short of impressive due to the proteins being overly salted and over cooked. My husbands medium rare order of lamb chops came out disappointingly very well done and my Fish was mushy, soggy and incredibly salty. The beets were delicious though! Our service was wonderful, friendly and pleasant so I would possibly come back for wine and apps but probably not dinner. She told us about Greek night too which sounded fun. First, this restaurant is really two completely different eateries: the indoor main area (wonderful - maybe 5 stars) and the outside area on a deck over the water (indescribably dreadful, not really worth even one star). ABSOLUTELY DO NOT TAKE A TABLE ON THE OUTDOOR DECK! Starting with the indoor Molos: the food (generally seafood, mostly Greek) is good. It is overpriced, but good. And the service is pleasant and efficient. The atmosphere is good and people seem happy. Of course, the great attraction is the fantastic view of the Hudson River and the NYC skyline. No matter how often you see it, it is always amazing. But then there is the deck. The food there is AWFUL there because it arrives late (like 40 minutes late) and so is cold. Cold grilled fish, for example, does not taste good and is certainly not worth the high Molos prices. The service on the Molos deck is the worst I have ever encountered in any restaurant, ever. Tonight was the second time I had the misfortune of being a guest on the deck. Both times it was awful. The service was beyond bad both times (different crews). It took 45 MINUTES to bring a child a bowl of vanilla ice cream for dessert. When it came, it was roughly the same temperature as the entrees we had ordered and which all arrived late and at at different times. My appetizer arrived as other members of our party had finished theris and were well on their way to finishing their entrées!!! I mean, the evening was awful because of the cold food and appalling service. Our dinner took THREE HOURS because of the horrible service. If you order the fish for two (approximately $60 and higher) you will LITERALLY get one fish that is grilled and cut in half and each one of you will only get one half off the fish. It was our first time at the restaurant, and we planned on use a LivingSocial voucher. The decor is excellent (typical Greek, all white and blue), with magnificent views of Manhattan. The service was slow and inattentive. You would need to call the waitress frequently. The "unlimited drinks" were supposed to last for 2 hours, but at 1.5 hours we were told they were finished. The bellinis were horrible. The mimosas were OK. The LivingSocial menu was very subpar. The options had nothing to do with Greek food (omelets, salads, etc). The food presentation was also subpar. Worse, when the bill came, there was a line saying "tax exempt" and another one saying "open bar" for $11. When asked, we were told it was the tax, which was obviously not properly labeled. I guess it is a way for the restaurant to charge extra to customers but not to give to the IRS. I made the complaint to LivingSocial to warn fellow diners. I've never been so disappointed in a restaurants that after I ate there I had to go eat somewhere else because of my food. In the beginning apps came out fast then it took 30 min for the waiter to come back just to order out main course then another 45 minutes for our food to come out I ordered salmon, now if I wanted sushi I would of went to a sushi place my salmon came half fully cooked and half fully frozen. We went for dinner on my birthday. The service was good, and our waiter was very friendly. The ambiance was great as well, but the food was horrific. If you are going for drinks then it may be worth it, but horrible food and overpriced for the quality. we ordered Greek Fries, (just zucchini drenched in oil)...yuk. For our meal I ordered lobster pasta, which again was horrible, the lobster tasted fishy and the pasta was dry. My husband ordered the flank steak, medium, and they brought it out as well well done.
