This is a pretty cool place to visit in Brooklyn. I love the mom and pop feel. It made you feel like you were going to a locally owned spot. I got the Momo Ramen which honestly was okay, but it lacked the rich flavor that I've experienced at other places similar to this. My party also got the beef momos. I was hoping for a little more from these little dumplings, but it was still a cool experience to try. I think this experience was a little off for me, but I would definitely consider trying some other choices if I ever went back. I'm sure there is something on that menu that would spark my interest next time.

The establishment is clean, very limited seating. The staff extremely friendly, welcoming and courteous. We had the momo ramen with beef both and chicken and was definitely one of the better ramen noodles we had.

It was okay ramen, but honestly just average--nothing really stood out above the rest. The staff were nice and attentive though, which made the experience better.

Absolutely excellent! Amazing ambiance, food and service! The BEST ramen i've ever had, in and out of Japan! This is a MUST HAVE if you're in the area!!

Some of the best Ramen I've had in ages. Broth is good enough to drink by the glass. Really loved the Dan Dan Ramen and Chili Oil wonton. Seasoning was perfect. Just right amount of salt and spice. Cozy spot, but not many tables. Could use a vestibule to prevent cold air every time someone arrives.

Momo Ramen is a cozy, hole in the wall spot a couple blocks from the Barclay's Center. My sister and I came in on a cold Tuesday afternoon around 2 pm. We were quickly seated right next to the heater and instantly felt at home. The restaurant only has about 6 tables to seat people and during our stay all tables were pretty much always occupied. We loved: - the Momo Ramen, it was delicious. We downed our bowls so quickly and slurped up all the broth. - quick service - attentive waiter Didn't love so much: - The bathroom door didn't completely shut. However the bathroom was clean - Potato momos, they were dry and not very flavorful. We used our ramen broth to add to it Thanks for lunch !

Cute small spot with friendly servers! We came in when it wasn't busy, and were able to be seated right away. They had so many great choices it took us a while to decide-- so many vegetarian options! The food took a while but it was so worth it! The broth was so delicious and tofu was spiced just right. It is probably one of my top 5 Ramen spots. My boyfriend also enjoyed the Tonkatsu Ramen and we are so excited about this new find.

A small, cozy atmosphere, great for a cold day! I had the momo ramen, an interesting concept with momos in the ramen (as the name implies) that tasted great! Would definitely return the next time I'm in the area.

Very tasty ramen, flavorful ASF! surprisingly busy for a Sunday! However, great on a cold windy day! My boyfriend definitely enjoyed his bowl, only wish they had was shredded/ slice cheese that melted rather than parmesan cheese flakes. Other than that, great eats :)!

I was excited to try this place because it was recommended by many. I was disappointed by the flavors in both the ramen and the momos. The momos were hard and it made it difficult to eat, it also was super thick and after having one I felt super full and heavy. I got the spicy tonkatsu ramen and the regular tonkatsu ramen. The noodles were nice and chewy and the soup was good but it didn't stand out.

Food: My group and I were looking for a place to eat some noodle soup and this spot was a hit. We started with the scallion pancakes, which were awesome. They were flakey and crispy in all the right ways. For me, I got the then-thunk which was like a warm hug in a bowl. It was spicy, hardy, and the noodles had a great chew. Scallion pancakes: 5/5 Then-thunk: 4/5 Service: Service was timely and attentive Ambience: The interior felt very homey. A decent amount of seating.

This is a nice cozy restaurant to grab a bowl of ramen. Indoor seating is pretty limited but it wasn't crowded when we got there on a Sunday afternoon. There's also a few tables outside in an enclosed area on the street. We ordered 2 Sapporo beers and got the Tonkontsu Ramen and Tonkotsu Miso which were both pretty good (and tasted pretty similar). There's also a spicy powder on the table to add to taste. If you're looking for a place to have a quick sit down ramen bowl, I'd recommend giving this place a try.

The service here is stellar!!!! One guy is literally running around taking care of the customers outside, inside and delivery WITH A SMILE ON HIS FACE. There was a snooty customer who came in just being obnoxious and not once did he lose his patience. I dined indoors just watching this man accommodate everyone without a word. Really great service. Food was great. I love momos and will happily eat it every day. I don't think I've ever seen 8 momos for a single order. I was overwhelmed. But delicious!! I stuffed my face with the momos as I rushed to catch my train. The noodle soup was also great. Hearty flavors and so comforting. I could see this spot being very popular during winter. It will warm you right up. Loved it here and I'll revisit when in the area.

Why don't you post that you close at 10 and not actually at 1030?! It's VERY DECEPTIVE when you say open till 1030 and you stop taking orders before 1015! It's the 3rd time this has happened.

It is very reasonable for a restaurant to stop taking orders before 10:15pm if a restaurant closes at 10:00pm.

It's quite busy but the turnover rate is quick. The restaurant is small but has a good amount of tables and counter seating. But I've got to say I am disappointed by my overall experience based on how popular this spot is. You order from a menu you can write on, which allows you to customize your ramen selections (noodle thickness, broth, add-ons, etc). I ordered the tonkotsu ramen with spicy added. While the broth is pretty good, I think the overall ramen is a bit lacking compared to other ramen spots. I did not realize the ramen did not come with any ingredients besides the chashu meat and some scallions sprinkled on top. So this spot really requires you to customize and add on toppings. Usually other ramen spots already have selection of toppings in each type of bowl. So overall, my ramen was pretty standard and nothing outstanding. I do appreciate that you can add half or full serving of extra noodles for $1-2 if you want more. Also, like others mentioned, Ramen Danbo received a C health code rating. I didn't see this until halfway through my meal, but I probably would not have ate here if I saw it beforehand. Quite appalling for a restaurant that doesn't even have an extensive menu. Overall, the service is okay... I can't say I had any particular issues BUT I just felt like all the servers gave off the vibe that they just hated their jobs or something. It was just the vibe I got but it could just be me.

First: got combo B which was the perfect amount for 2 people since it included an appetizer, 2 ramens, 2 desserts and 2 drinks. Left very filled and happy. Would highly recommend their lemonade and Thai tea! The popcorn chicken is more batter than chicken, so it's good if you like more of a crunch. The tonkotsu and miso ramens were good, but not particularly notable. Kyuramen is a chain after all, so the food quality gives that same vibe as comforting when you're just craving some. Second: Got the yakitori platter, beef ramen (seasonal) and curry ramen and I'd personally pass on all of them. Their meats are over cooked which makes them tough. Both times the service was fine, I appreciate the call button so both don't have to wait for awkward timing issues. I do like the aesthetic of the place, especially with the privacy of the room shades/dividers. p.s. don't forget their slurp and win program! When you drink all the broth, there's a word on the bottom (or not) where you can get a free popcorn chicken/drink/etc for your next visit. I thought the chances would be pretty slim, but I got a drink voucher my second time!

Chicken dumpling (3/5) Red version: It was unique to find kernels of corn in the dumpling! I enjoyed the vinegar/soy sauce and chili oil. Next time, I would have liked to try the brown. Overall, there wasn't anything special about the steamed dumplings. Iron Men (3/5): I was disappointed since reviewers said that the broth would be very rich but it did not have much flavor to me even after using their house chili sauce (+$2). I definitely tasted the Iberian pork undertones but overall, I thought it was watery and didn't have much flavor without the chili. The poached egg was perfect. The rosemary oil was very subtle (cool presentation as it was provided in a dropper!) The noodles were perfect--chewy and bouncy. I thought the 2 slices of pork were thin but tender, also more lean and not fatty (not as ideal so did not melt in your mouth). Expensive for a bowl with little meat ($23). I did not use the miso paste as I did not love the aftertaste, which admittedly could be why the broth lacked flavor to me! Nagoya Miso Katsu-Don (N/A): I tried a little of the dish. I thought the pork was very crunchy and had a great taste. Boyfriend said the dish was nothing special.
