I love momos and this place satisfied my 5 year craving of good, classic momos. I have never been to this strip but this is one of the restaurants that is not open for outdoor dining during COVID-19. Understandable since there is no room in that area and it is a small shop. I haven't tried anything else here except the chicken and beef momos. With the order, they provide soy sauce. I've never had soup dumplings that was filled with rock hard meat and also wrapped in such thick skin. Sure, it's frozen but I've had frozen soup dumplings from the grocery store taste better than this. Place was so good we came two days in a row to try 4 different soups. Fairly inexpensive, probably the best priced in this area. The Buddha Ramen was exquisite. I add added an egg because Ramen doesn't feel complete without an egg. The Miso Cheese Ramen was ridiculously good. It was buttery and delicious and the touch of parmesian cheese was so good. Went to lunch at Momo Ramen on Sunday afternoon. Nothing wrong with our meal, but none of the dishes made an impression. Quality: Everything we ordered at Momo Ramen was good, but nothing really stood out. The Scallion Pancake and Wonton With Red Oil, were both fine dishes, but neither were must have. The Beef Momo was probably the highlight for me, but like the other two dishes they seemed more like different vehicles for spicy oil than a true reward in itself. I felt the Tonkotsu Ramen was simple and fairly boring, though I appreciated the abundance of noodles and pork. Quantity: Small appetizers, but easy to share. And they turn out to be surprisingly decent...and everything I thought I knew is a lie. What's next? Thai places making great sushi? Pluto not being a planet? This was a great place to stop in for a steaming bowl on ramen on a cold night. l ordered the Momo Ramen and loved it. The broth was delicious and flavorful and the soup dumplings and pork it was topped with added a ton of flavor and depth. We also ordered the steamed pork and chive dumplings, which came out a bit cold but were really good. The inside is really small with not many tables, so be prepared to hear everyone else's conversations very clearly. The decor and music was nice, I enjoyed dining in overall. The only downside was that the service was not well timed. I ordered hot tea because it was freezing outside, but they forgot about it and didn't bring it until after the food came out. I couldn't ask about it because the server didn't come by after they took our order until the dumplings came out, which were almost immediately followed by the ramen. It would have been a better experience if I had an opportunity to enjoy the tea, then the appetizer, then the ramen, instead of getting them all at once. I was visiting friends who lived a few blocks away, and several of us decided to get take-out from Momo Ramen. It was pretty obvious just looking at their name what we'd want. Okay, that's not quite true, as I saw they had kimchi listed in the salads section, something that pleased me. I had some problems trying to order online off my phone, because the link I followed kept displaying "Restaurant is closed" at the bottom of my screen, for no obvious reason. But someone else (a local who orders from them often) had no problem and took the reins. The food was delivered very quickly for a Friday evening. I was probably less satisfied with part of my order than the others, but they all enjoyed everything, so it was indeed a solid 4-star overall. The kimchi was fine, but I would have been okay with it being even a little spicier. I had some problems with the pork and chive dumplings. About half of them fell apart as I attempted to pick them up with the accompanying plastic fork, and the meat was a bit dry. I had never had soup dumplings before so I was excited to try them. Prices are fair, some might say even say slightly on the lower side for a ramen shop. My one issue with the dumplings is that I encountered some small pieces of crab shell in a couple of the pieces, not all of them but it was enough to throw me off as I was eating/ chewing; but on the bright side at least I know they used real crab so. My pork was sliced thick however it was not tender and melting-in-the-mouth texture, it needed to be cooked more to soften, it was quite chewy. My partner really disliked his dish comparing it to packet noodles. We also had ordered pork soup dumplings. The skin of the dumpling was too thick and when we picked it off the bamboo basket, the skin got stuck to one another breaking the skin and leaking all soup.
