Pros: it's really really weird, but my husband likes that despite the grand decor and architecture this is a casual restaurant. There's a bar with the TV. People were dressed very casually. Service was phenomenal. Cons: I really liked the two types of butter, but I did not enjoy the bread. my husband loved the crab risotto. I found it really dry. Idk where to start: it took almost 2 hours to receive our meals and then learned it was because they let everyone's food sit until everything was ready, therefore letting the meals get super cold. We sat at 7:30pm and didn't get our entrees until after 9:30pm AND there were only 3 tables sat in the establishment. Steaks were overcooked and instead of remaking, they simply heated it up and gave it back. Popular menu items were also unavailable. Cocktails were pretty solid and the service was atleast attentive. The place is gorgeous and love the new bar area. It has an amazing outdoor area which isn't always easy to find. The staff is very friendly and provide great recommendations when trying to choose between menu items. This was my second time dining here. The first time was the first week they were open. I enjoyed both experiences but the second one was better because my other girlfriends wanted steak well done which doesn't suit my taste. We split a plate - steak frites...it was good. This time my girlfriend and I got they bacon and carpaccio to start and it was delicious. I had a Bees Knees as my first drink and it was very good, probably the best I have had. This new steakhouse in Tulsa was good to try, but I'm not sure I would go back just yet. We made a reservation for 8:30pm on a Friday night, arrived closer to 8pm, and it wasn't very busy. It just opened a few weeks ago. The lighting was bright for a high-end steakhouse. I expected a dark ambience, and it felt like a day time outing. That totally changed the mood. It needs to be darker for dinner! We were sat in a booth looking directly out at other tables, and it felt awkward with a fully bright room. Their menus are the nice electronic light up kind, although it's totally unnecessary for how bright it is inside. I've only seen those menus in dark atmospheres. For the bread and butter, small rolls came out and it felt like rolls from a low end restaurant versus fresh baked bread slices. The butter was soft and tasty. The 30 oz bone-in ribeye special was good not great. The medium was tender, flavor was ok, not very strong. The peppercorn sauce we added was delicious though! The green beans were my favorite with an excellent flavor. The risotto side was just ok. The peanut butter cookie skillet was just ok too. The best part of this place is that you could get a bottle of wine for much less than other high-end steakhouses in Tulsa. Cabernet bottles started at $44. The dining area is completely separated from the bar area and felt small. The bar looked nice and I would probably dine there next time. We made reservations because we wanted to make sure we were seated on a Friday night. There are a few choices for high end dining but I'm glad we choose to try this. The food is fresh to order, so we ordered the bread and tomato bisque. The bread was portioned perfectly for the 2 of us & the Tomato bisque was very flavorful but just a smidge spicy, although we like it that way. I ordered the scallops & they were very tasty & seasoned perfectly. Also I ordered the mac & cheese which was also seasoned perfectly & I definitely recommend. The restaurant has different dining areas & we were on the right which is more intimate and cozy but not to worry because the menus light up! Lol! I've never seen such bright menus before but it was great because we didn't have to use our phones to order. read more

We were a party of six celebrating work service anniversaries and long friendships; it also happened to be my wife's birthday 2/3/2024. We thought we would try this restaurant because it was new, and none of us has been here before. We had a reservation at 6 pm. The restaurant was sparsely attended by patrons. It was cold and rainy outside. Unfortunately it was also very cold inside. We asked about the temperature but it never got comfortable. All of the female patrons were donning their coats. It was very dark, I get that you were going for a romantic ambiance, but wow. At 7 pm, the lighting was adjusted DOWNWARDS. You literally could barely see your plate. Service was good. We were never without full water glasses and our waitress was very attentive and helpful. Our wine and cocktails came quickly and our meal was well paced and unhurried. The prices were very high end. We had the seafood tower and bacon for starters. I also had the gumbo which was satisfying and a great treat. They were all very good. All sides are served family style. I would expect exceptional care taken with our steaks for the price. They were all appropriately cooked for our order, but all were lukewarm at best. That was very disappointing. The sides were excellent mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese (spicy), and broccolini. We all shared a smattering of the deserts and they were meh. For an average of $200 per person I would have expected better atmosphere in a comfortable venue (temperature), and something on the menu to knock my socks off. Great upscale restaurant in South Tulsa / Bixby. Lighted menus rounded out a very cool ambiance. Our waitress was very friendly and offered recommendations. She also had great timing. The cocktails were some of the best I've had in Tulsa. Oyster appetizers were pretty small for the price but that was the only small negative for the entire experience. Loved the TomTom salad. My filet was perfectly cooked and the scallops were absolutely the best I've ever eaten. So buttery! Good chipotle mac and cheese although I could have used a little more sauce. Great flavor and cook for the redfish Pontchartrain. Fantastic dessert (both to eat and drink) to finish the night. Not recommended for foodies. SUMMARY: In short, Momo's is priced like Mahogany but the food is less than half as good and they are at the bottom in almost every steakhouse category. This place just truly didn't check a single box for us except location and parking. REVIEW: I'm torn leaving such a negative review on a place that tries so hard. Momo's is like an unmotivated high school C student who thinks they should be valedictorian. Seriously this place should be on some reality show with Gordon Ramsey. Know this, Momo's tries to present itself like Mahogany, but it's more like Chili's This place is simply NOT in the same league as other local steakhouses in Tulsa. If you're looking to spend several hundred dollars on a special occasion, please read this and go to Mahogany. Even chains like Fleming's, Ruth's Chris are far superior for the money. Polo Grill and Bluestone are local gems that obliterate this place in ambiance, food quality, price and service. First, the ambiance is cool, but feels cheap and fake. The doors outside open directly into a one room restaurant without a vestibule. So in February, the cold wind is breezing directly into the space. We were seated at the front and between cheap windows and the door. While not frigid, the temps at our table were constantly colder than they should be. Their menus open with a too bright, cold blue artificial backlight. It's a cool concept but came off looking cheap. Lighting at the tables was lacking and it was overall too dark. Our table of 5 had to keep moving the one lamp to see anything. There was a single rose in a vase in the center but you couldn't see it because the light was too dim. The waitstaff was on the level of a typical casual dining restaurant, not a premium steakhouse. Service was spotty with long delays between seeing friendly but somewhat incompetent waitstaff between courses. We were there an hour before we received our salads/soups. Beverage glasses were small and overfilled with ice so constantly getting refills. Luckily the person doing this was very attentive. One person ordered a cocktail and the waiter bringing it on a tray they were not adept at handling almost spilled it on them. The cocktail was very good and only five bucks. On the plus side the Caesar salad was good although unconventionally presented almost as a wedge. One person had the gumbo and it was fantastic. Now on the entrees. We ordered the seafood tower. Compared to Mahogany it was a huge letdown for about the same price as a full Monty. There was a half lobster tail that was not shelled. The drawn butter was not warm and had no heat source! The seafood itself was not super fresh. It was just OK. Two diners got the chicken and it was way too spicy for both. Rather than complaining and adding another 30 minutes waiting, one just picked all of the breading off. One got the scallops which were NOT seared at all. Capital B boring presentation and overall dish. One got the redfish which was good. Overall, food presentation was drab, pedestrian and utterly uninspired. There was zero panache and the chef seemed to lack any sort of Joie de vivre infusing his cooking. This seemed to be the product of a kitchen that was mechanical and barely passable. Desserts were underwhelming and they were out of about half of their options. Overall we spent about 2 1/2 hours here mostly waiting between courses. Luckily we had fantastic conversation, but we brought that. We really only saw our server when ordering or after courses were brought out. We saw the manager one time after we had paid the bill. So like I said more like Olive Garden service at prime steakhouse prices. read more

Entrees were very good. The ribeyes were the most tender ever and well prepared. Had a nice brulee for dessert. Drinks were all good. The place is pricey so I'm not going to eat here regularly, but for a great celebration place with intimacy, quiet, attentive staff, and exceptional dining, this is a good place. Truly fine dining! Nice atmosphere with average food, but be careful ordering drinks and be very specific with your alcohol preferences/requests as they will upcharge you through the roof. And never ever take they recommendation as it's a shady way to jack up prices. (A simple bourbon like BT they will recommend some other brand that will be 3-4x expensive or a reserve quadruple aged in 10000 yr old barrels ect and when tab comes you think it's a $15 3oz drink but it's $45 and you had 3 of them for over $125. One $15 drink will be $45 before tip. Also MoMo and Polo Grill are the 2 worse in Tulsa w cocktails literally only being a couple ounces & they put biggest block of ice in a small cocktail class to make it look just Half Full. Not 3/4 or full, with huge block ice only half full thus 2-3oz max of a drink they will upcharge $45 for if you are not specific. Classic old school shady bait switch w as little oz as can away with. We got to the restaurant and the ambiance was nice, but our waiter immediately ruined it by saying that he was not "fancy" and that he didn't want to act that way. Typically, this wouldn't bother us, but when you are paying a good deal of money for a dinner, you want a certain level of refinery. The steak was alright, honestly the best dish of the table was a burger which shouldn't be the case. We then wanted to take a group picture and were told that there was a much cooler area of the restaurant on the other side, where they had a nice bar and staircase. We then couldn't help but wonder why it is that they wouldn't be utilizing this much more appealing side of the establishment. Just finished dinner and a few drinks here. Ate the crab fritters and the smoked chicken. Both were really good, the sauce for the crab fritters was a touch too acidic, but it was still a really good dish. The chicken was exceptional. The best part though was the drinks. Bino (hope I'm spelling that correctly) made me a sidecar which was perfect. Recommended a great white Bordeaux to pair with my chicken. And made what was probably the best French 75 I've ever had. This was THE BEST dining experience I've had since moving from Portland, OR to Broken Arrow last spring! Momo's food, wine list and crafted cocktails menus are so well curated, tasteful and provide such a nice selection for all palates. The Art Deco/ Great Gatsby vibe is spot on....so lush and elegant. The bar is AMAZING and the various dining area options are sure to impress. Our server, Carter was exceptional. The whole staff was personable, professional and made sure we had everything we needed for a fine dining experience. I cannot for our next visit. I am sure we will be regulars. Beautiful restaurant. Outdoor area with fireplace is a nice touch. Large bar area to accommodate happy hour patrons, or any others looking for an upscale South Tulsa experience. Staff is superb. Food is really on par with what you'd expect from a premium dining experience. My wife had the 6 oz petite filet, cooked to perfection, and we both had spot-on cocktails. I ordered a medium 14 oz rib eye medium, but based on texture it was more like well done. Within 5 minutes or so another identical cut was brought out, and I would be hard pressed to claim it medium well, but a far cry from the tender steak you'd expect from a medium ribeye. They brought out a very tender petite filet for me, and in combination with the excellent Caesar salad and the potatoes we shared, the overall meal was excellent. I imagine the thicker cuts of tomahawk and porterhouse shared by a larger group would have been less prone to overcooking per request, if you have a group with an appetite. I'm keeping my review positive, however, because the staff was excellent in their response to everything. Just felt it was only responsible to give a full picture. Both were home made (I think), the bread pudding was more like a soufflé than texture of bread pudding I have had and loved before. The cream brûlée had little flavor.
