We were in Healdsburg for vacation and we were going through wineries and stopped by Mom's Apple Pie between winery stops and we loved it! They're in a super convenient location and are open most of the day and right on an apple orchard! We entered the restaurant and we saw all of the pies and pastries and we received a warm welcome from the staff. OMG the baked pies looked amazing and absolutely called our attention! We ordered the medium apple pie for $19 and it was so so good! Apples were all so fresh and the pie had an amazing texture. If you're in the area and love fresh pies and pastries, definitely stop in!

Cute spot with nice service, but just okay for me. I had a turnover, and while the filling was great, I prefer a crispier crust. Coffee was decent (drip only), and the staff was super apologetic and quick to fix an issue with curdled cream. A bit 'meh' on the food, but a charming interior.

Their chocolate cream pie is my favorite! Came by to pick up a pie for home but had to eat a slice before heading out. Its a fudge bar in your mouth. delicious! Service is always great, friendly and mever pushy. Come in and take your time looking through all the pies, huge selection & baked fresh daily!

Cross section of the apple pie - yes, it has a puffed up crust but it has a really normal amount of filling, too.

I don't usually write reviews but I had to because people have been very unfair to this establishment. I read all of the terrible reviews and my curiosity was piqued because I love fruit pie and I'm always on the hunt for good ones When I went inside just before closing, a nice young woman greeted me promptly. I asked her which pies were the freshest out of the oven and she told me pretty much all of them were baked that morning. I ordered one organic apple pie and one blackberry hand pie. My kids and I ate the hand pie on the way home and thought it was delicious. There were no seeds in the blackberries, and the folded crust was thin and had the sweet, slight crunch of sparkling sugar sprinkled on top. I grew up in New England and for me, these pies are pretty close to the ones you find at farmstands back East. I've had better, but most pies I've tried are a lot worse. I find a lot of cheap supermarket pies gross, with their over-sweet, probably from a can, gelatinous compote made from gelatin or corn syrup and thick, heavy, almost bready crust. The top of the apple pie is puffy, but the amount of filling is normal for a home-baked apple pie (see photo) The apples are tart and lightly seasoned with cinnamon and sugar. They are applesaucy and not firm. I don't mind that, it reminds me of my mother's pies, but if you are someone who likes your fruit firm, the texture won't be your ideal. The crust of Mom's apple pie is thin - I would guess a primarily shortening base but maybe butter, too. The crust flavor is relatively savory but not too salty. The star of this pie is the apple. Lastly, the cost is high but seems comparable to other upscale bakery pies that I've ordered on Good Eggs, or at Wholefoods (which usually makes a pretty good pie). You can definitely find cheaper pies, but most of tbose are probably made from canned apples, lots of preservatives, or they are several days old and shipped from Michigan or something. Remember somebody has to cut up all of these apples every day or two and roll out the dough on Bay Area salaries. All in, if the type of pie I have described sounds good to you and you're craving pie made from fresh fruit, don't skip this place based on the reviews.

Cutest little pie shop you could ever find, saved us from losing our minds as we circled a third time trying to find a winery. We never found the winery, but we decided this stop was worth the frustration. Small places like this make me feel warm and happy. Ordered a blackberry pie al a mode heated up first. Not the best pie I've ever eaten, crust was different than what I prefer, but to each their own. Still a fun stop and dessert is always a yes on vacation.

So i have wanted to check this place out for years and we finally did...much to our chagrin. Cute place and by decor screams fall charm! The service was kinda rude and unfriendly. ....it was a Saturday afternoon and can be overlooked! The pies were awful. We had apple and blackberry. Undercooked and flavourless gooey crust. The filling was also under flavoured as well. The oatmeal cookie was pretty greta .

This place is the place to go for pie! This is my go to if I need to bring baked goods to an event or holiday and I don't have time to make something my self. Everyone always tells me how good it is and then I have to confess that it's Moms Apple Pie and not my own! I also love stopping here on my way home from the river or beach to grab a slice of pie for my sweet tooth!

I also thought the pricing here was reasonable for great pastries. I have paid much more than what I paid at Sarmentine for less scrumptious pastries. The staff who helped me out were kind, and they offered some great recommendations as to what I should order. I ordered an almond milk latte but was initially given regular milk. They remade it, though they seemed annoyed about the mistake. After spending over $40 and getting back to my car, I realized the remake was just steamed almond milk with no espresso at all. For a bakery with such a strong reputation and premium prices, I'd expect a little more attention to detail and a better customer experience.

The patisserie is cozy with a few tables inside and a few small tables on the patio. As you enter, you immediately see the glass case with beautiful pastries and cakes. So exciting to see all of their gorgeous creations in our little town of Sebastopol. We had reservations for 1:00 and they sat us at one of their small tables by the door. It worked but it wasn't the most comfortable seat in the house as people were walking in and out of the door and the pastry case was right next to us. There was a group of four near the far end and they offered to move us but then we would have been sitting right next to them. They also have another small private room but that was going to be used for a wedding cake meeting. Gergana is the owner and she greeted us warmly. She said she took over the patisserie in 2019. The other employees were very sweet and helpful. They provided us with a tea menu so we could select a tea from their varied tea menu. They returned with little pots of tea for each of us. There were many people dropping by to pick up a pastry and drink and others stopped by to pick up their cake order. The employees were efficient and quick to help everyone. They refilled our tea pots with hot water and checked on us throughout our time there. The desserts on the top level were our favorites. It came with a candle which was very sweet. The sandwiches on the middle level were chicken, egg salad and cream cheese with cucumber. Our favorite was the chicken salad. Overall, it was a fun experience to savor all of their small samplings and Gergana is there to ensure everything runs smoothly so that your time there is relaxing and extra special. She even gave us a hug as we were leaving. I look forward to visiting this local patisserie again for a cup of a tea and a beautiful pastry.

We also had the chance to try their white cake with strawberry jam which was fantastic. These ladies definitely know what they're doing!

The crust is delectable and the ribbons are just sweet enough for me. I nibbled my way through that thing over a couple of weeks. The fruit adorning the pastries always had a great flavor to them. So I ordered a Strawberry Pistachio scone to try and we picked up two Small Chocolate Thimbles to try. For take-home bread, we bought the Forestville French Baguette, Sesame Epi Baguette, and a Country Bird. We also picked up a tea cake to enjoy at home. I can only review the scone and Thimbles since at the time of this review, this is what I've tried. The Strawberry Pistachio scone was not too sweet, which is great. I like how the pistachio bits add flavor to it, kinda wish they added more pistachio. I'm not sure I personally like the strawberries since they're kinda mushy, but my partner really liked the addition of strawberries because it's like adding cream to a biscuit and this scone was more like a biscuit than a scone (in our opinion). It's buttery, airy, and light, but it's pretty good! I think the Thimbles were better though. I can only describe it as a fudgy brownie with a thin crusty outer layer. What a decadent little treat! I can see why this is a local favorite! Their pastries are delicious. I can't wait to see how the bread tastes like and I'm glad we stopped by to pick up some goodies!
