They make the best hummus, way better than any other company's. I don't like many kinds of hummus but all they have to offer is great.

One of the only reasons I go to the Calabasas Farmers Market is to get the hummus/dips from Mom's Products. The Roasted Red Pepper Hummus & the Tomato Garlic Dip are my absolute favorites right behind those two is the Avocado Cilantro. I put them on everything! I'm a competitive powerlifter who needs to watch their weight as I compete in a certain weight class and the biggest perk for me is that they list the nutrition facts on the containers which is one of my biggest issues when shopping at Farmer's Markets because I'm one of those crazy constant macro tracking people. I've been on an eating clean lifestyle change (aka a diet) and meal prepped salads for the whole week for lunch at work. I didn't have dressing but remembered I had bought the Spinach & Jalapeño spread that was so good from Mom's Products at the farmers market this past Sat. I love going to our local Farmer's Market. We go either to the one in Old Town Newhall or the one at COC, depending on our weekend. I quickly became addicted to a different brand of sheep's milk yogurt (as did all the nurses where I work) and then they stopped coming to our farmers market. Enter in Mom's Products. Still sheep's milk yogurt, but none of the nutrition facts or fat. Hmmmm...when I asked the guys working the stands about the nutrition facts, their reply was the owner has been told this complaint and hasn't complied yet. It costs money to do this...Okaaaaay...then I asked why their yogurt is fat free, and the reply was because that's the base they use. Wow. That's not really an answer! So it tastes great and it's cheaper. And they have great hummus and other salads and their Halvah...oh man. That's good stuff. But when I went to open my rose yogurt at work yesterday, it was sour. Bummer. Pregnant nurse at the end of a 12 hour shift just wants a snack! When I mentioned this to the guy at the market, no questions asked, he just gave me another one. Very sweet and much appreciated. So I bought my usual mix of some yogurts and some salad products. I get home to eat my yummy lunch of yogurt and mozzarella with tomato sauce and saw mold growing on the tomato sauce. I guess I will have to go back to buying the other brand at Bristol Farms. Totally bummed. Makes me distrust their whole operation. ***editing in response to Mom's reply*** Thank you so much for your prompt response!!! Since I am a generally conscientious person, I always make sure to bing an insulated bag to the market and make the yogurt stand my last stop. I also go home right away and put my things in the fridge asap. So I can assure you I was taking appropriate care of the items once in my possession. I can't promise I will continue to buy from you guys, but do truly appreciate the time you have taken to respond to me. I recognize that things like nutrition facts take time and some cost is involved, so I can appreciate that it is a work in progress. I guess it's just the attitude that was portrayed by the guys working the market that bugged me more than anything! Thank you for shedding light on that fact! read more

I've tried a variety of their products and can honestly say that just about everything they put out on their table is spectacular. Its all so fresh and delicious that you'll never want to eat store bought pita bread, pita chips and hummus. Great hummus, stuffed grape leaves, marinated artichokes. Wonderful products and fairly priced. The chopped cucumber-red pepper salad is a fantastic accompaniment to grilled fish (I buy the fish from Dry Dock at BH Farmer's Mkt) and walk a few feet to Mom's Products for the sides. You can find these guys at the local farmers' markets (Old World on Sat, Long Beach Marina on Sun, etc.) Seriously great food....I love all the hummus variations (just tried the kale-almond..wow!), the tomato-garlic dip (to ward off vampires for days), and the eggplant caviar. For starters, the phone number for Mom's that is online "has been disconnected or no longer in service. My neighbor and I recently went to the Farmers Market where we bought a total of 6 different products. I asked if "Egyptian Fool" contained any cilantro, which I don't like, and I was told "absolutely not, no cilantro". Not true, it contains "green herbs" and it's mostly cilantro. We both had problems with the extreme packaging and could not open the hummus, grape leaves or bagaganoush using either pliers, or a screwdriver. We ended up having to cut the top off the containers so we could not store the uneaten portion. Unless the packaging changes they've "seen me". read more

I pick up there products from the Torrance farmers market, they are there on both Saturday and Tuesday. Everything is delicious. I drop at least a 10 spot every week (3 items for $10). My favorite pita chips are the lemon. Artichoke hummus is another fave, they are all pretty good though. Also get the tabbouleh, flavored kalamata olives, spicy green olives, roasted red pepper tapenade is fantastic, and feta cheeses. They also have three types of pita bread. And a sun dried tomato salad with mozzarella cheese that is really good, we use it on grilled samiches. I liked to keep my fridge stocked with there products. Good to through in couscous for a side dish, with grilled chicken and mix the tabbouleh with romaine lettuce for a great salad meal, and the roasted red pepper tapenade is good with eggs. read more

I bought the Roasted Red Pepper, Black Bean,and the Artichoke Spinach Hummus and all were delicious! $5.00 each or three for $12.00 @ the Kaiser Hospital in Fontana on Friday afternoons. The pita bread was just way too pricey when I can get it at a middle Eastern market for three packs for $1.00. I would spend the money for the Hummus again. read more

My bf and I came across Mom's Products at our neighborhood's weekly farmer's market. Their products are delicious!! The man running the booth was nice & gave out generous portions of whatever we were curious to try! I LOVED the three layer dip (feta cheese, sun-dried tomatoes and pesto), hummus & the garlic tomato dip!!! They all tasted heavenly & were super fresh!! We bought all three for $10! I wrote a review before ... but I'm sad to say Mom's Products is no longer at my local Farmer's Market! Does anyone know if they have a website? I love thier food, and want to have it delivered to my house. Some other company, Brother's Products, I think they call themselves ... took over my local farmer's MArket, and it makes me mad! LOL ... they completely copied Mom's Products, only they don't have Halva, and I've sampled their food, and it just IS NOT as nearly as good. I have a feeling Brother's bullied their way into my Farmer's MArket (Americana on Brand in Glendale). Seems to be the way things are run in my little town. :o/ read more
