Karen, the owner, was an absolute pleasure to work with - detail oriented, responsive, and eager to make sure our order was completed on time as we were on a bit of a tight deadline. This place has gone downhill in the past 3 years... so sad. They no longer sell key lime by the slice or frozen key lime on the stick. I notice some fruit flies in the container with the monkey bread. The lady behind the counter would not give us any tastes of the fudge! They also did not have the ingredients of the items on the label. My kids left so disappointed! read more

Oh yeah. That's good. A homey bakery freshness like grandma would make, Mon'Key' Bread is island gold. When you come to Tin City for a trip to the magic shop for some old time fun, jokes, & tricks with your buddies or the young and young at heart in your life stop here for a little sugary pleasure- they go so well together. A range of items are available- candy coated apples, dipped Oreos and pretzels, fudge, a delicious looking toffee flavored puffs - ask for it by name : 'Island Gold' (it's kinda along the line of a Cracker Jack meets a Cheetos - toffee covered puff corn) & standard nut laden toffee tiles, fire roasted s'mores on sticks, and this magical Mon'Key' Bread. The Mon'Key' Bread comes in a few flavor versions all have a sticky bun meets cinnamon roll basis & get a vanilla cream wizzle swirled into the center. It is amazing - think, a better take on Cinnabon or your favorite bakery. The details are important: the owner said they use coffee in the ice cubes for the ice coffee, so the coffee doesn't get watered down. And some of the candy apples are massive: over two pounds of chocolate on some of them. Standards, elevated. This is a great shop for gifts to take home - pre packaged and giving ready. Gift certificates are available and they'll ship it to you once you're hooked. You'll pay a price that reflects that, but it is worth it. Ordered from Amazon as a Valentine's gift and inquired before purchase how to get the four free buns advertised. No answer, but I purchased anyway, figuring they would just be included when you "order an 8 pack" as the photo clearly states. Inquired again since they were NOT included when the 8 pack was delivered. The owner was extremely rude and said I would need to order directly from the company (not Amazon where this picture was posted.) Explained that I had ALREADY ordered and although she said to provide my address for the free buns, she has not honored it to date, nor returned emails or phone calls after she said it was "too confusing" for her to message through Amazon. She stated this was their Black Friday special - it's certainly not my fault the picture was still in their sales listing in February (no expiration date - see photo). I did notice that this FALSE ADVERTISING picture was removed from Amazon now, so apparently THAT wasn't too confusing for her. Buyer beware! read more

This place is located in Tin City which kinda reminded me of a Coney Island type place - but the Monkey Bread Factory was really cute! It's not very big but I ordered 3 different monkey bread buntz to go. I ate the classic cinnamon one today and it was delicious :) I appreciate that they put the cream on top! This was a little of a surprise. We walked to tin city for dinner and it was super hot and humid. We went into this place and got a really good smoothie that hit the spot. They had other things that look amazing but we couldn't buy anything else because of the heat and walk back. I will return for the key lime fudge. read more

Very disappointed with this spot. Came due to the rave reviews but the Monkey Bread did not live up to the expectations. There is no menu in the shop and the bread was put in the microwave to be heated up..... it was not made fresh :( The staff wasn't very friendly either. read more

Great Shop - The sales person, Sandra was so knowledgeable about all the products, including which were Gluten Free! We drove from an hour away to get some treats for the family based on the reviews. We showed up at 9:15 and it was closed but advertised as 9:30 closing. We saw the girl counting money and called she at first hung up on us and then answered 5 min later, we were then told everything is stale and to come back in the morning, after we told her we came from an hour away. My family and I were visiting Naples (visiting in-laws) this past July and wanted to shop in tin city. This wan't our first time in Tin city but we never got to try this monkey bread store so we wanted to give them a shot. My wife was excited to try the pina colada coffee (don't remember the exact drink). There was an older to middle-aged couple in front of us ordering this and that. The blonde lady behind the counter was pretty much kissing their butts going out of her way giving them a taste of this, a sample of that and so fourth. Mind you, this is all fine because that's what customer service is for. Finally after ringing up a hefty order, it was our turn. Keep in mind we were never given a simple, "be right with you" or even a nod and smile. ALL we ordered was a medium pina colada coffee. The lady looked back at her brewer and said she was out and didn't want to set up another batch of coffee just for one customer. It wasn't even closing time. My wife and I look fairly young for our age so I'm assuming she didn't think we had the money of the couple before us. I may be wrong but that's how I strongly feel. Stunned for a second, my wife and I looked at each other and said ok and left... never to return. Nice way to treat a customer that drove all the way down from DC. We decided to eat at Pincher's which gave us better customer service but that's for another review. read more

This place is amazing. We cannot stay away from it. First day we stopped by at about 8:30 pm. They wee all sold out. Next day I ordered 4. B-A-M-! We are hooked. I got 1 banana and 1 orange and an Italian espresso, my daughter and her Friend each got one chocolate chip and a glass of milk. No one said a word till it was all gone. The orange was out of this world and the banana was fantastic as well. The girls (and me as as well) would not stop talking about it. We went back yesterday and got more.
