I was having difficulty placing my order online because my credit card kept being declined (because of my travel, the card company thought there might be fraud). But I was able to get someone on the phone and place my order easily. It was ready for pickup quickly and my friend picked it up without issue. The food was tasty. Everything was fresh and delicious. Came in for lunch on a Wednesday. The inside was not very busy but there were many ToGo orders going out. The server was quiet, yet attentive. The food came out rather quickly and was hot and fresh. I ordered the vegetarian pad see ewe from the lunch menu. It was delicious. The soup and fried spring roll came out first. The soup was amazing. I would've ordered that on its own. The food here was spectacular! The restaurant was quite a drive from where we are staying in Castle Rock, but it came up on a Thai - Best Of list, so we decided to give it a shot. Wow! Because of the drive, we did make a reservation for 7pm on a Wednesday, but it wasn't necessary. It's not a large restaurant and has the feel of a hole in the wall/bare bones type of place, but that really let the food be the star. We ordered shrimp spring rolls - served with a delectably thick curry/peanut sauce - & the basil crispy duck and kana moo krob stir fries. The flavor and texture of the duck were perfect, but the garlicky sauce on the kana moo krob was to die for! Loaded with a large selection of fresh, crisp vegetables and served with rice to soak up the sauces. Our server was very friendly and the person who brought out the dishes seemed to be the chef/owner? In total, we spent 3x as long traveling to/from the restaurant than we did actually eating - it was that fast!- but it was a trip we would absolutely make again. Stopped by for take out today. So friendly gentleman took my order. The food was incredibly fresh--papaya salad--chicken pad Thai and green curry. It was all delicious and we can't wait to go back to try some of their other dishes. The spice levels are no joke. We usually get a 3-3+ on a 1-5 scale. Monthai's scale is 1-6 and the 3 was a bit hot for me--the 3.5 I couldn't do. Highly recommend. Super great price for the downtown area. read more

I'm not sure why the reviews are so high. Most bland pad Thai I've had in a long time. Spice level was what to be expected, but super weird it had no flavor, just heat. Monkey plate wasn't bad, wontons are solid. The potstickers had little inside, just fried but not really filled. Save your money. Just get wontons. I also ordered soup for tomorrow, but after what I ate, I'm bummed I ordered anything. Fast service. But I can think of a number of places with better flavor and value. read more

This place has finally opened and it's right next to my place. It's super cute and nicly decorated inside. It gave me more of a casual feel like most Asian restaurants- in and out fast. We came at an odd hour so there was not a single table, so service was fast. Our server i belive was an owner and his wife was the cook- from that I knew the food would be authentic. When I ordered my papaya salad I asked for loas style and they knew - loved it and it was amazing. I wish the the cabbages were so cut up, I like to put the salad on top. Def needed sticky rice with this entree. And DAMN the spice lever here is spicy! They offer a scale of 1-6 and I did a three and it kicked my ass! The pad woo sen was great, wished the cut the tomatoes up more. Chunks were too big for our liking. This dish I did a 2 for spice level and this was easier to eat. I'm so sad to leave this review, but I was thoroughly surprised by the quality of food I received. First thing, the service was wonderful. The staff were so kind over the phone and in person. I ordered the Drunken noodles, mango sticky rice, and the lychee boba. The lychee boba was good! However the drunken noodles were not drunken noodles. It lacked the taste and it was so spicy it was unfortunately inedible (it was only spicy level 2, which is crazy). The mango sticky rice wasn't the greatest, lacked enough of the coconut sauce and wasn't really that sweet. I want this business to continue to thrive! Some features of being new *1) *just* got liquor license this week 2) not busy and faaast service, and 3) more expansive menu than a lot of US Thai restaurants- I wonder if they'll streamline to just the "standards" you see most places down the line.
