First off the negative review poster, get with the times bruh, more and more people are not drinking alcohol these days, people don't ONLY come to Pacific Beach to drink, woof. Anyways, I am so happy I found this place! I was on vacation, first time in San Diego and I'm sober but wanted some fun non-alcoholic mocktails to bring back to my hotel room and to have on the beach and this place had exactly what I wanted! The girl helping me was the sweetest, so helpful, gave me great recommendations and then when I told her I was looking for restaurant recommendations she gave me those too. Now, I was familiar with a lot of the non-alcoholic options they had and were they overpriced, absolutely. Some I know I could buy at Target for $3 cheaper, which is significant when you're buying a bunch. But, this is California baby, empty your pockets because it's ALL expensive, embrace it! Otherwise you'll cry about it. They had adaptogen drinks, Kava drinks, are those the same thing I don't know but they had them all. This place wont survive, few customers for what? Nice concept, nice guy owner, somewhat expensive, but unpaired, and no other foodies. I don't think they will last long here in a drinking community or in a mall that doesn't seem to know how to pick their tenants. People come to OB to party, drink brews, shop, go to the beach, surf, eat great food, in which they don't have any. This seems like a front. They won't be here next year.... read more

What a great spot!? I came here and listened to some live music (monthly on Saturdays), grabbed a cocktail, and had a chance to catch up with some friends! As somebody who doesn't know too much about nonalcoholic, cocktails, or drinks, I asked so many questions and the bartender was able to help me out so so much and tell me the story behind a lot of of these brands. If you're anything like me, age *ahem* has affected your ability to metabolize alcohol like you used to. I don't really drink that often anymore...and while I don't mind going to breweries to keep my fiancé company, the options are usually very limited- if there's anything at all besides water. But Monday Morning has solved that problem for me! I really don't even know where to start with this fantastic place! First and foremost- yes, they are dog friendly. Our dog, Zane, was welcomed in with love and dog treats! I fell in love with this place the second I walked in. Calm decor, muted colors, soothing music...if you get overstimulated easily, this is the place for you. The bottle shop has a plethora of non-alcoholic options- spirits, beer, wines, and mixers. Whatever you need, you can find it here. I'm sure plenty of people buy things and go, but they're missing the magic of the bar area! The bar/lounge area is so relaxing and with Di mixing up delicious NA cocktails and fun conversation, you'll want to settle in and chat. My fiancé and I sat there for a while, trying different things, drinking and chatting....and the best part, I didn't have to worry about feeling sick later that night or the next day! Very friendly owner. She runs the bar, the enablement, the store. Prices seem a bit high but the quality is without a doubt there. These aren't just liquids that taste like alcohol. Some have cbd, some have another supplement, but they actually relax you and revive you - in a much calmer, less toxic way. Come support local business. I really hope this place lasts. Stopped into Monday Morning after work to pick up a couple bottles of an Elixir I'd been hearing about. I've tried a couple Non-Alcohol adaptogenic drinks and really haven't found anything that "worked" as a replacement for alcohol...yet! This shop has soooo many options for replacing the drink! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I wish I had more time to find a non alcohol beverage that didn't taste like juice or seltzer waters. Of the 2 bottles of Curious Elixir I bought I tried one and wasn't impressed. Hoping the other is better. If I do decide to pursue the NA movement I'll have to stop in and really learn from them. They have such a vast inventory that I'm sure I'll find what I'm looking for! The shop is tucked away in the center but is cute and everything is well presented. Adaptogenic drinks can be pricey so it's important to really ask for what you are looking to get out of the drink...learn from my mistakes and lighter wallet! Haha read more

NA is the new way! I refuse to pay cocktail prices for straight up juice, but I have absolutely been loving fun cocktails with non-alcoholic spirits. These still feel so well crafted and special without the hangover. Monday Mornings is a relatively new NA bottle shop with spirits, beer, wine and mixers. They have an impressive selection and I love that they had a bunch you could try. I picked up a great vodka replacement and gin replacement that are both so fun! They also have a few adaptogen options with kava or mushrooms. It's a great option for those who still want a fun drink without the dreaded hangover. They were super attentive and personable and I appreciated the helpful guidance across the different options. My only critique is that they don't have any prices listed so you have no idea how much things are going to cost. It'd be helpful if they get this fixed! read more

So happy Monday Morning opened up in OB! We need a NA spot and bottle shop. They just opened today, and although it's smaller than the PB location-- it's got all the NA things you could ever ask for and if they don't have it here but have it at the PB location, they can have it sent over. What a great idea! A bottle shop for just NA stuff. NA drinks are always tucked away in some dark corner in most shops, but here at Monday Morning, they are IT! They are THE center piece. If you think you're only going to find beer, you are wrong. They have the functionals (drinks containing THC or mushrooms and the like; I'm not familiar with those), NA spirits, NA beers and NA wines. They source them from all over the world, so you're not limited to seeing the stuff that you find at your grocery stores; they have NA whiskeys, NA tequilas, NA sour beers, NA pastry stouts among many others. Half of the shop is dedicated as a hang out space, furnished with chairs and tables. Zane, one of the co-owners said that you're welcome to bring in games or work there as you enjoy your beverages. Amazing non-alcoholic options at this beautiful shop! I dropped in to find a fun/nice brunch drink option for a friend who recently stopped drinking alcohol, but has discerning tastes. SO MANY GREAT choices! The owner was there, and helped me pick out some great options. I bought a fabulous sparkling non-alcoholic rose, and a spritz that I ended up drinking as well. We loved both of them! I've been making these spritz' now during the week for my husband and I to enjoy in this heat as we try to not drink alcohol during the week. I visited with the owner, Mr. Zane and two young informative and well-balanced staff people and I learned to get nice and high without alcohol. After lighting my cerebral fuse with some samples of herbal refreshment, I invested in a 750ml bottle of Dromme to help me be calm. I was glowing like an ember when I floated out of Monday Morning, and I went home and mixed my new non-booze calming liquid and Wow did I have a grand time. I mixed a heavy dose of my Dromme with ice tea and in minutes I was lit like a Christmas tree on the 4th of July. That night, I slept like a log and dreamed in colorful cartoons. And Monday Morning Bottle Shop has some of the best from around the world. It's right around the corner from my house, and I couldn't be happier to have a place like this nearby. They've got an incredible selection of nonalcoholic spirits, wines and beers. The quality and flavor are on par with, if not better than, traditional options. This place has honestly been huge for me in my effort to drink less without feeling like I'm missing out. The Belgian beers are some of the best I've ever had. What a find! As a recently sober person, this is a great find! Zane the owner is a joy and really knows his product. I'm a beer drinker and enjoy a beer, or two, after work. I've been obsessed with Athletic brand but restricted to the three standard choices. Zane has the full line including the rotating seasonal. However, there are dozens and dozens of other interesting options. It's like being in a small Total Wine for NA. I was thrilled to find gose and sours which I hadn't found yet and loaded my bag with many samples. He also has an extensive selection of mocktail mixers which I couldn't resist including Kava. Lovey staff, not judgmental or pressuring. Space is very cute, they encourage you to stay and plug in your laptop (rare now a days). Live music on select weekends too!The plaza itself is a sweet secret in PB. Prices are a little expensive but staff will provide cheaper alternatives too (but also don't know the market for Kava, or NA spirts very well). Such a gem of a place. I stopped by with my best friend, who was visiting town, because we are both sober and she loves mocktails. The owner, Zane, poured us tons of samples of different NA "liquers" and adaptogenic drinks. It was so cool to discover non-alcoholic wines and champagnes too, I bought a bunch of stuff to have at home. I am excited for their efforts to remake local restaurants' cocktail menus- we need more NA options! Very cool spot! I went here for a non alcoholic happy hour- didn't even know that was a thing until I got the invite! The whole store is full of non alcoholic drink options and they all seem so thoughtfully sourced. You can tell the owner really takes pride in what he's built too which is cool. I've never seen a retail spot like this before that's purely dedicated to non alcoholic drinks and I think it's awesome San Diego has an environment that caters to that. read more
