Absolutely recommend this place. Service was excellent. The selection is legit, huge variety of liquors, craft tequilas and whiskeys, plus an impressive lineup of IPAs and other craft beers. They also run really good specials, so you can usually find a deal on something quality. Clean, organized, and easy to get in and out. I stopped in today at 12:45pm. I am 48, have essential tremors and a severe stutter due to major neurological problems; very apparent. The cashier mocked my stutter to my face while I was talking with him in front of 3-4 other guests. I was too embarrassed to ask him why as I didn't want to be mocked again. I simply left. Best liquor store in north PB. They have a great beer and wine selection and even have build your own 6 pack option. The owners are super friendly and always greet me when I stop by. It is a bit more expensive than Von's or cvs but I would rather give my money to these guys. read more

Good beer selection to choose from and they are always getting in new product to try. A little pricey compared to other shops, but still much better than 7-11 next door. The store is very cramped and the register is positioned in a terrible spot, customers waiting to pay have to step aside and move so that customers coming in can get to the beer. The older guy that works during the day is consistently rude and his English is not strong enough to respond to any basic customer question. Now the night time folks are awesome, super friendly and knowledgeable. Pretty sure it's grandpa, dad and children working, basically anyone below the grandpa are good people. No joke, you lose thousands of dollars a year solely from my household not wanting to deal with the old man. read more

I'd like to give this place 4.5 Stars Great selection of beer and wine including micro/craft brews that are typically difficult to find. They also use their ice cream freezer for freezing a selection of liquor, a detail that I appreciate. Best craft beer selection in town at this place. I used to live in the area and this place always beats the grocery store or 7-eleven. This place is responsible for me finding out when the Big Wave from Kona would be sent to the states. Always a great selection of reasonably priced beer which is bad for people like me who cannot make up their mind on what to buy since it is all new and looks good. The guys that work here are nice but my only complaint is the card fee if you do not pay in cash. Not the biggest disaster but an annoyance. Really the only reason I go here is because its across the street from my house, but every time I go I hate myself for giving these guys my business, my loyalty will always lie with a true beer store like the olive tree market in ob. The name says it all. This is a PB liquour store. The current owners bought it from a guy who is pretty active in grass roots SD politics and kept the name. Their wine selection is pretty impressive and the prices are good. The current owners are the same guys who own the Magic Market (one of my favorite local stores) on Cass and Law. Having lived in that neck of the nape for awhile I can attest that, since adding more doors, the beer selection is twice as good. The guy that usually works there is genuinely one of the nicest guys I have ever met, and if you want to order a specialty, hard to find beer, you have a good chance they will order it for you...Some of the beer specials are priced to party.... read more

Never thought I would be writing a review for a liquor store, but this place is just that good! Everyone who works there is awesome personally and professionally. They have a great selection including a vaaaast amount of unique and obscure craft beers. Also, there's been a (very) few times they didn't have what i wanted, but upon my return saw that they had ordered what I wanted especially for me. Malaud is awesome, always remembers details about his customers and is amazingly friendly and overall awesome. Five stars for jug liquor! read more

Very friendly place with great prices. If you have a debit/credit card make sure you use credit or there is a small ATM fee.

They couldn't cram one more bottle of beer or wine into this joint. They have a ton of killer beer selection including a few rare brews I can't find anywhere else. The guys who own the place are so nice, they always greet us and are very friendly and they even ordered specific types of beer for us just because we asked if they had it in stock. Customer service at its best, that's why this liquor store always has people coming in. Best liquor store in PB. These guys are super friendly, the prices seem to be below average, the selection is great, and you can always have a nice conversation before you leave. I usually go there in the afternoons so I always see Malot (Sorry if I spelled your name wrong), he is very friendly and seems to know everybody because people are always coming in to talk to him. This place is down to earth, respectful, fair on prices and if you want something they do not have they will order if for you.
