    Mongolian stir fry

Very friendly service the bar was full of fresh ingredients to choose from. The only suggestion I have is to better label the sauce choices. That is the only reason for not having 5 stars. I wish there was a way to do a half star.

Service was great we were immediately sat and directed on how to use the food bar. No one was waiting to get the Mongolian food cooked so we got right in. The food was very hot and tasty, a little salty but that was my own fault. I'd definitely come back here again!!

The best place to dine in or takeout noodles on the go! You can choose many sauces and the cooks stir fry it on the round stove, it was pretty awesome! I think the one on Broadway has very nice hosts and staff, a place to eat anytime during the day.

Of all the offerings of Mongolian BBQ in Boise, this place has always been consistently the best. Run by a familiar crew of folks, food and service are consistent. One of the friendliest waitresses in Boise works her. She's always ready with a smile and remembers my drink order though I don't think I could be called a regular there. Decor takes me back to the nineties, which is a good thing. It's a comfortable and casual place to eat. It's hard to beat one of their hot bowls of noodles made by you to your liking! Try the Mongolian BBQ sauce on your food. Tasty!

Oh man! Everytime I eat Mongolian BBQ I get overstuffed and have to save the rest for a late dinner. I am so in love with these places it's almost pitiful! I went here today with a friend and had the best time ever. We say down and we watched part of the New England Patriots vs Denver Broncos game. It was a great setup for someone who is now handicappable. They made room for me and made me feel welcome. After the food was done, I was easily able to wheel into the bathroom and made it easily to the toilet. Thank you guys and gals for being so helpful!

Good food and swift service. An easy way to go out and still stay within a budget. Nothing fancy, just good food.

Typical Mongolian BBQ. It was as I expected. Really friendly service, I did however think there might be a few more items.

Veggies were kind of brown and sauces aren't full of flavor. Service wasn't bad but the person I was with got sick a few hours after.

Too much of a good thing can be bad. I didn't want to cook tonight so we decided to go to Mongolian BBQ for dinner. We entered through the back entrance. We did stand in the front for a minute. We didn't want to just seat ourselves just in case. The server was busy chatting with some customers so the chef told us to go ahead and grab a table. We got ourselves situated and headed towards the noodle bar. I love how many veggie options they have. Cabbage, broccoli, zucchini, carrots. The possibilities are endless. I loaded my bowl up with veggies and sauces. I don't know what the hell I'm doing sometimes with the sauces but it always ends up turning out good! Our server was a little disorganized and disoriented. She gets caught up talking to guests and then loses track of what she needed to do. I had to remind her a couple times of our drink orders and that we wanted the soup. She was a little older so we gave her a little grace when she forgot things. You can't go wrong going to Mongolian bbq if you have different eaters with different pallets in your family. And it's a great way to please everyone without having to make different adjustments for everyone. It was a quick and easy dinner and I'm happy we decided on this local joint tonight.

I should have…read more I walked in on my one hour lunch break and there were no other customers in the restaurant which should have been my que to walk out right there but it was already too late anyways, the lady at the register already saw me and began to greet me. I wanted to try Vincenzo Trattoria but they were closed and I didn't feel like driving to another area so I just walked in here even though I haven't had much luck with Asian restaurants I've been to in idaho since I've moved here with the exception of a couple really good Vietnamese pho restaurants in Garden City and Nampa. I will say the woman working the register was very friendly so my one star is for her. She smiled and got me some water and rice at a table and I went over to the buffet style area to pick out my meats, veggies and noodles. I placed them in three separate bowls as that's how it worked a Mongolian grill restaurant I used to frequent in another state and the chefs there cooked them separately on the wok but then mixed them together and plated them but I guess that's unusual here. The chefs here cooked everything separately and boxed them in separate to go containers. The lady was on the phone and didn't tell them I was planning to eat at the restaurant but she got off the phone as they were boxing up the food and then they started arguing in their language. I said "it's okay, it's already boxed up so I'll just take it to go" and she rung me up and apologized a few times. It wasn't a huge deal to me but their arguing definitely was unprofessional and awkward for me as a paying customer. What really makes my review one star only is the food itself. I got to my car mixed it together and took a bite and even with the sauces I added, the food is so bland with watered down noodles, not the freshest of veggies and hard to chew meat. I stomached a few more bites but it ended up being a waste of money. It's now a little over an hour later and my stomach hurts even though I really didn't eat much of it. I won't be back.

The guy that greets you is always so sweet and nice. But every other employee in this location is rude, and smug. They all have a mean look, they raise their voices at guests, are extremely unhelpful and are overall unpleasant to be around. They also close half of their line at about 6PM and will yell at anyone who tries to use the other side. I get pre closing but doing it three hours before you close with 15 people sitting and about another 15 in line is unacceptable. I love Mongolian, but after many attempts I've decided to not ever come to this one again. Such a shame

The first time, I ordered wonton soup and asked whether it came with vegetables. I was told vegetables would cost an extra $2, but only a very small amount would be added. When I returned the next day, I simply wanted to confirm the charge before ordering. During that conversation, I was informed that I would also be charged $1 for a slice of lemon in my water. What surprised me was that I had received water with lemon on my previous visit and nobody mentioned any charge. The dollar itself was not the issue. The issue was the inconsistent information and the way I was treated when I asked reasonable questions. Instead of receiving clear and respectful answers, I felt dismissed and spoken to as though I was a problem for simply asking about menu items and charges. I have never encountered a restaurant charging separately for a single slice of lemon in water, and if that is the policy, customers should be informed upfront. I ultimately walked out after ordering because I no longer felt comfortable staying. The overall behavior I experienced felt unnecessarily hostile, disrespectful, and unwelcoming. As someone traveling alone and speaking with an accent, I left with the strong impression that I was not being treated with the same courtesy shown to other customers around me. I will not be returning.
