The delivery and carry out service is a joke. Last three times we ordered from them they have forgotten items. When you try and call to remedy the issues they blame you for mistake and say your order was to large or they remember making your pizza. Even though it was never received. I absolutely love finding great places to go after work -- to just relax and unwind. I ordered something very simple, which was a personal pan pepperoni pizza. (I swear I'll never stop loving this particular order. Ah well.) The food itself was brought to us promptly and I must say, the pizza was quite good. My friend ordered one of their sandwiches, which I did not try, but I took her word when she said she was impressed. Pretty sure our waitress was in her first week of working. She seemed very nervous and "in your face" like - but let's just move on from that and give her the benefit of the doubt. One of my favorite places for pizza in Indiana. Italian Special - no olives. Though it's one of the most non-nutritious salads you can get, it's so good!! You don't have to pick off any ingredients. The sweet and tangy dressing is awesome. read more

This was a take out order...our first time. We got a 10 inch pan Delight pizza. Pizza was small, but enough for us --2 adults and a 5 year old that doesn't eat much. The crust was very good--could tell it was freshly made ...fresh yeastiness...yumm. Toppings were nothing to write home about. They were ok. Sauce was ok. Could tell it was a good quality cheese. It is overpriced in our opinion for the size . It was good, but not that good...doubt if we will go back unless we get some coupons or something. They have no Medium pan pizza for the delight--went from small to large????I don't understand that. I was disappointed in this pizza. We ordered a large extra cheese and a large pepperoni with extra sauce. Nothing exciting. It is also overpriced in my opinion, even though this was a "Special Deal." ( $30 for 2 14 inch thin crusts. ) I won't be returning. read more

This place is pretty good but I only gave it 3 stars because its pretty pricey. The thin crust is good.. we got 2 of the 14" pizzas. A buffalo chicken and a deluxe. They were tasty and they were more than willing to bring out the condiments. The first bite of the buffalo was really salty.. I don't know if I just got a bad first bits or what. The pizzas were around 18 bucks each which was pretty steep for the sizes. The waitress was very nice and friendly.. and the place was clean. Prices could be better. We used a bogo coupon so it wasn't a bad price.. but I honestly wont go again if I don't have a coupon. read more

I went there for dinner around 5:30 one night. It was not busy at all on a Thursday. The atmosphere is very plain. The biggest negative was that it took 30+ minutes for our pizza to be cooked. The deep dish pizza was above average and the thin crust was about average. The salads where shredded iceberg lettuce and didn't look appealing. The server was quite nice. read more

The pizza here is not worth the price you pay for it. It's okay but not amazing and quite expensive. But on top of that the service here is terrible. My food was incredibly slow coming out to me and then when I spoke to the manager, I believe his name was Dan, he was incredibly unhelpful as well. Would not recommend going here. Meat lovers pizza! And they deliver! I love the breadsticks because they aren't the flat, greasy, spice covered type....they are the nice golden brown doughy type! Read: real bread sticks! I can't comment on any other dish because I am a creature of habit and when I find something I really like, it's hard to change. I usually get the thin crust and it is always baked perfectly. Ended up here on a Friday Night at 7:30 PM. No line. Lots of open seats. Was a serious red flag-- but tried it anyhow. Awful. God Awful. Gut Wrenching- God Awful. -Dining room was 80-85 degrees. -Service was atrocious. Waitress acted like a spoiled brat that was too good to take our order. Salad was shredded lettuce like you would find on a taco, but a lovely shade of brown/rust spotted. I complained and asked for fresh salad-- "I'll get right on that." Was her response. 15 Minutes later-- we are out of drinks, still no salad except the three day old crap they initially gave us, I got up and went looking for our server. She was hiding in the area behind the hostess station. She saw me coming and turned around and bolted into the kitchen. (No. I am not making this up!) -Food. Salad was inedible. Pizza burnt on the bottom, but at least you could see how it might have been good, had they not burned it. Pop was flat. -Management. I complained to the manager about all of the above. He was bored. He rolled his eyes several times. We left all the salad on the table. We ate 3 pieces of a pizza. I refused to pay the bill, and he told me not to ever come back. Food is always good here but unfortunately service sucks! There's only two customers. Me and my boyfriend, all of the staff is huddled at the front paying no attention to us. Our waitress comes back with a drink for me....an entirely wrong drink she didn't even bother to ask what I'd been drinking. No stars but wouldn't let me post unless I chose at least 1. 4 people ordering individual pizzas. Mine was to be a pan pizza but they brought me thin. Said thought what she tried to give me was someone else's and she would check on mine. Came back & told me still waiting on mine. Another 15 or so minutes later I get mine and instead of the pizza being hot from the oven it felt warm. Bit into it and the pizza dough was raw! Had my son go to counter and ask for manager. Manager came to counter and asked what was wrong and my son explained my pizza was raw. Manager asked him if I wanted another pizza and my son said no and manager said would it remove from bill. But the manager never came to our table and never came to check or apologize. Waitress never came back to check on us or bring refills. We all just got up and went to counter, asked for boxes and asked for our bill. Another worker apologized and gave us 50% off of bill and told us the amount, offered us free drinks and called our waitress over. We told her she lost a customer and she said I know. Then our waitress asked us how everything was and we told her and when checking us out she said she could not get the register to work right. We left our money and left and as regular customers who come with our families and get catering for work parties, eat lunch with work friends, come to eat and drink after bowling and bring the kids' team for pizza for team sports gatherings we will no longer dine at or recommend Monical's. Garlic Cheese Bread is my go-to appetizer as it sets the mood for either a deep-dish or thin crust pizza. Go with former if you're looking for more filling meal and since I love meat the Mighty Meat really hit the spot with sausage, ham, pepperoni and bacon. read more

Monicals makes a very good thin crust pizza. It's crackery crisp thin so you'll have to order a larger pizza than say a Papa Johns to fill up everyone. Tasty ingredients, though. The breadsticks are pretty good, too. In order to get an idea on the price, you will pay $49 for ten breadsticks and two 16" pizzas...delivered, minus tip. I like the pizza but won't order it in the future due to the price. read more
