First time based on Yelp reviews. Hot sour soup was great. I ordered duck and family had broccoli chicken and shrimp lo mein. The duck was cold and fatty. After picking out meat there was a lot let on plate. The server asked if it was ok. When i told her no she told owner and he removed it from bill. I was impressed because 1. It was $25 and 2. I came with a big party to monkey king ready to eat after a long day. It was easy to make a day-of reservation, and our table was immediately ready upon arriving. My three favorite dishes were the braised tofu, hawaiian chicken, and beef chowfun. Hawaiian chicken was super crispy, fully saucy, and the peanuts added a touch of salt to the sweet spicy flavor profile of the chicken. Chowfun was perfectly smoky and I appreciated the chili oil on the side. Yu Shang style eggplant was my favorite--the eggplant was perfectly cooked and had a complex taste that I would not be able to replicate at home. Waiters were very attentive and we never had empty waters or rice bowls. Music was a lofi piano mix and I appreciated how I was still able to hear conversations from across the large table. I will be the first to admit that this is a weird location, kind of hard to get into but once you figure it out, very worth the effort. When I walked in I was literally the only person in the room who was completely and 100% white and not speaking a foreign language so that is a great sign. We were a party of 5 and unfortunately they do not have alcohol or wine, just beer. I didn't ask if they allow you to bring in your own wine but might check before I go back. Their menu is HUGE and very representative of many Asian cuisines. As promised by other Yelpers the pot stickers are to die for and worth the 20 minute wait. They are huge and meaty and delicious. I love love love Cantonese food and this place definitely hits my craving. They're relatively new so the tables and chairs don't feel quite as sticky as the well loved and older places. We've ordered the intestines twice now and safe to say I'll order them again next time. All the entrees aren't overly oily and greasy which we and our stomachs appreciate. Great new cantonese restaurant! Enjoyed all the food and the beef chow fun is delicious here I really like how they cooked the beef in it. This is the only restaurant in the KC area that serves crispy pork belly by the pound. Come early as sometimes they may run out of it. This place also has 2 private rooms for any parties of I think 10 people, which is a nice addition. Definitely will be coming back to bring friends and family here as it is great for having a family style meal. read more

We have been wanting to try this place since we moved here last year. We finally went today and we were not disappointed. We had the duck wings, fried chicken wings, egg rolls, chicken bird nest, and Hawaii chicken. The favorite of the night was the fried chicken wings and the Hawaii chicken. Y'all the Hawaii chicken was amazing! Like, I'm going to dream of the flavors and texture of this chicken for a few days. The bird's nest was good (my husband liked the flavor of the chicken but not the texture...I think he was jealous of mine) but not we do want to try something else. The price is pretty good considering the amount of food that you can get. Most entrees could be shared by two.
