    Tacos Al pastor delicious
    Mirna P.

Hands down The Point Park has it made with "Monky's Torta!" The food is hot and made to order. The many times my family and I have came here we are greeted with a friendly hello and I think they know our exact order by now We've tried the taco as Al pastor, asada, birria and two of their signature tortas and everything is well seasoned and fresh. The main highlight I may say...THE SALSA ROJA IS SOOOO SPICY AND DELICIOUS Music playing in the background, eating tacos and sipping on a nice cold beer is definitely an ambience

Love this place. I typically gravitate to the tacos (Bistec and chorizo is my go to)! But, as the name implies, their Tortas are amazing! The owner is super nice too. Always has a smile. Pick whatever you want, it WILL be delicious!

Looking for a big, sloppy, once you start you can't put it down, monster Torta? Then try out Monky's! The owner is Mexico City and wanted to bring this type of Torta to San Antonio. The Monky Fries are loaded up and the combination of asada, cheese sauce, and pico de Gallo is a winner! They have several different Tortas to choose from but the Cubana is the one you should try first! Give me a follow on Instagram @CheatDay_SA and let me know what you think!

The birria tacos from here are delicious. The broth is delicious and the tacos are nice and crispy. I will be back! My only complaint is they didn't give me the jalapeños I paid extra for :(

I decided to try this food truck out at The Point Park out by Boerne Stage! I highly recommend this place if you head out here. The street tacos were pretty standard for Al Pastor Street Tacos and so I enjoyed them! They are a bit more expensive ($11-12) than some other places, but still are really good. I loved the Locas Fries! They kind of reminded me of chili cheese fries, but with a Mexican twist. These fries are loaded with chorizo and topped with bacon and nacho cheese that you get at concession stands or movie theaters. Jalapeños are placed on the side in a little cup. Since this is a part of The Point Park, there are picnic tables all around and I think live music depending on the day. I really recommend this place! It was a super cool environment and good food.

Ribeye street tacos for the win!

Street tacos come with cheese, cilantro and onions. I requested no cheese and grilled onions. The salsa pairs amazingly. You must stop by!

Their smash burger is one of the best burgers I've ever had.

Lunch special until 3 pm…read more Food was 4 star, the whole beans received in cup, was more bean soup than whole beans. Beef taco /shell 5,star. Beef enchilada was 3 star, needed more flavor. Food quality has not been constant on our visits, usually late lunch times. Server was great. Answered my questions and addressed my concerns at the end of our lunch. The recurring major flaw, is the way the restaurant inside was designed. It is beautiful but made with all hard surfaces. Nothing present to absorb sounds. As a result sounds inside magnify to a point our servers have had to bend over or take a knee to gather clients food orders during busy times. I feel like I am ar a big Spurs game with the sound bouncing around. Those at our table have had a hard time to have a conversation with each other at times. The small room up front is designed so sound bouncing off hard surfaces is worst in this room. I have had to ask to be relocated twice from this room due the sound level. The kitchen area in the front do not have doors to abd from the kitcgen to the dinibg rooms. Another design flaw, as a result the seating areas loud sound comes into the kitchen area. I can not imagine how the staff communicate to each other in this work setting.

What-an-Experience…read more If you're looking for a place where the food is slow to arrive and sometimes cold when it should be hot, the service is slow to nonexistent, and the manager's professional wardrobe could double as a "before" photo for a reality show makeover, then look no further than this particular Whataburger. Upon arrival, I was eventually greeted by a worker after waiting for about two minutes. While that sounds like no time at all, when waiting is an eternity. I finally placed my order for a regular number 14 but instead of mayo I wanted buffalo sauce. Now what is a 14 you ask? Let me tell you it is a plain chicken sandwich combo. Not a burger but chicken and a number 14 not a sandwich but a number 14 combo. The server took my order and asked if I wanted the buffalo sauce on my burger to which I said no because I am ordering a 14 chicken combo. Then I was asked if I wanted to make the combo a combo. Enter the wait and the longer wait and then my food was delivered straight to my table by a most unhelpful person who just dropped of my food and asked "want any ketchup?" Before I could answer he was walking away so I guess no? But wait - it gets better. A fellow customer, understandably upset about receiving a cold sandwich (again, they should be *hot*), asked for the manager. Enter the manager - not with a sense of urgency, professionalism, or even a basic "sorry" for the inconvenience. No, he arrived in filthy clothes and the kind of attitude that said, "Why are you bothering me on my break?" The look on his face was like he had better places to be, like napping on a couch or watching paint dry. Honestly, I felt bad for the other customer who just wanted a warm sandwich. But apparently, asking for a decent meal and a little decency in service is just too much to expect. I'll be taking my food cravings elsewhere. Somewhere with food that's at least lukewarm and a manager who knows how to dress and act like they care. The one positive out of this experience is that I had an unexpected visitor join me for dinner. Do better Boerne Whataburger.... Please do better and please take care of the bugs. I prefer to sometimes eat alone.
