Ok guys, this review is a little delayed so I apologize in advance but here goes... First of all, I hope that very one is staying safe. So some time after the pandemic started and restaurants were allowed to start opening up again, we where at a relatives house and decided to go to dinner, something we had not been able to do for months. After some discussion my cousin recommended Montecatini, and man where we glad she did. Montecatini was excellent overall, yes we had to observe the new COVID-19 guidelines but the experience was very good. Masks are required and tables are socially distanced as well so all good there. The service overall was excellent and they were extremely attentive. The menu was very diverse as they had a nice mix of Latin, Italian and seafood dishes on the menu. Everything was fresh and the chef came out to see us as well, which does not happen that often. Parking should not be a problem as they are located in a strip mall that has plenty of it. So, guess it was a mistake to give them a another try. Crab cakes cold in the center again...waiter to the plates barely eaten and didn't ask if everything was ok?. I cancelled my main entree. I suspect management probably discouraged if not outright restricts asking how everything was cuz I didn't witness or hear any waiters asking their respective tables if everything was to their liking. I finally got to try this place and let me tell you I was very impressed! We ordered as an appetizer the ham croquetas, as a meal the fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp and Parmesan risotto with chicken. The food was beyond delicious, you know when you are eating something and you are like OMG this is just perfect! that was us! The presentation of the dishes were really nice. Let's not forget dessert, which they bring you a tray so you can choose. We had, well I forgot the name, but it was a light tasting almond tort with vanilla ice cream thst was light and absolutely delicious. I wasn't sure what to expect. They make Italian cuisine but yet also make latin food. I just didn't think they could pull off two different cultures effectively. Well guess what? They did!! WOW, the food was absolutely delicious. The service was also very prompt and professional. I feel so bad not remembering our servers name but she was just the sweetest lady. We went for Lunch on a Friday afternoon and were blown away by the food. The restaurant is small but beautifully decorated. I truly hope they make it. I went with my son for lunch and I loved everything about the place. Such a good, clean and beautiful restaurant. My server, Enier, was very friendly and efficient. I ordered lentils, Tuna tartare, and grilled chicken. I have to say that everything was sooooo good, and perfectly cooked. The portions were very generous. Very well presented restaurant. Consistent image, ambience and decoration. Price is on point for the area, adding positively to the perceived value. They have a patio area that is cool and cooled. I tried the ropa vieja and liked a lot both the presentation and flavor. Would say the dish was on the light side (in comparison to the regular versions), not greasy, but juicy. Appropiate for my taste, a variation from the typical cuban flavor. I appreciate that. The service is very good though kitchen is a bit delayed with sending the orders. For lunch one of the best places around if you are looking for a nice place with average budget and good service and not in a rush. read more

I can't believe it took me so long to try this place. Everything we had was great, vaca frita, pizza, calamari and tres leches. My only complaint is they pump SO MUCH "hotel" smell air freshener into the room! I was starting to get nauseous. Overwhelming when you are eating. read more

This place is brand new. All staff appear to know what they are doing. Our waiter, Alejando, was nothing short of excellent. Now, I must apologize for not sharing any photos. All of the food looked so beautiful that we started eating right away. We started with the octopus--fresh fresh fresh and delicious. We also ordered the fried chickpeas---delicious. Me and my friends received terrible service tonight. We were constantly made feel uncomfortable by the workers, and they were rushing us to eat our food. We got told to quiet down many times when there were others being loud. Once they closed, they practically walked us out of the restaurant into the cold to wait for our rides to get there. Despite it being more than 20 Miles away- we have been back numerous times because we really like the food. We usually wait about 20 for the food to be served. This time, we were explicitly told that there is "always" a 30-45 minute wait time. For that reason , I will not be returning. If you go, prepare to wait to be seated and super prepare to wait a ridiculous amount of time for your food to be served. read more

What an amazing dinner we had! There is a large menu. For us every appetizer and entree we ordered was delicious! We started with the Fried Calamari, lightly battered and crispy. Our lobster and side grilled vegetables were delicious. The risotto with grilled shrimp was so good! And our grilled garlic shrimp was delicious. We ordered for pickup. We had the ropa vieja and the steak milanesa with congri/moro, ripe plantains/maduros, and just white rice and black beans. Everything was DELICIOUS! Main entree was the shrimp fettuccini in the Parmesan cheese wheel awesome! Will order again. Arroz con pollo a la chorrera was full of Chichen breast chunks and very moist. Noticed this restaurant opened recently in my area and was excited to try something new. It was my first time dining here and loved everything I ordered. We had croquetas de Bacalao, mariquitas, and crema Aurora as appetizers. I ordered Churrasco as my main course. My favorite I have to say was the croquetas because I am very picky and loved that they weren't too greasy or too breaded. By far the best place I have had croquetas de Bacalao. My server's name was Sandra and she was very attentive and made sure everything was perfect. All in all, I was very happy with my experience and I would definitely come back. Have ordered from here numerous times- the food is pricey and when you order delivery they ALWAYS take FOREVER to get it to you sometimes more than and hour- even when you order priority delivery. They just continue to push the delivery time back. THEY DONT CARE CAUSE THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY EITHER WAY. To treat patrons who have supported you all during Covid like this is shameful.
