This places is a well loved restaurant and required reservations on a busy Saturday nite. I have eaten in so many Thai places but this places a phenomenal! I ordered the Pad Woon Sen - Thai stir fried noodles and it was beyond incredible . Every taste was excellent , the shrimp was delicate and ample, and the rice noodles were incredible with the mushrooms and vegetables . It a great atmosphere of a busy restaurant where people are excited to be there and quick and responsive wait staff. The that ice tea was huge as well! Always a great time at Moo dang with the family! This is one of our go to spots and always end up ordering the Basil Fried Rice and the Pad Ke Mow. Both are delicious and have great flavors! The spice level is much more than you think. A three is like a five on the american spice level scale, so be mindful of that! The server was very nice and even offered us free coconut ice cream to try at the end since they are testing it for the menu! I am excited to see it served with the sticky rice very soon. read more

Wow... So it's been a few years since I've dined at Moo Dang. I originally tried this place back in 2016 at a Yelp international supper club and I really enjoyed it. But a few months later I took my BF to Moo Dang and the cooking quality wasn't the same (lacked flavor, bland, and no wok hei). At the time we lived in Sparks so we didn't have a reason to come back until a few days ago when we decided to finally give this place another try. There was so much wok hei we were blown away at how big of a difference in the quality that we remembered to now. The Pad Thai was not made with your ordinary standard rice noodles that you would get at the pho restaurants, it was a little flatter/wider which tells me they don't settle for ordinary. The Thai fried rice was seasoned well and the panang curry was also good. The crispy pork belly stir fry that we ordered was a huge surprise. It was still very crispy and that was something super memorable. The flavors are on point and it had wok hei, they didn't ask you how spicy so if you remember tell them how spicy you want it, and service was excellent as always. This is now one of my top 3 Thai restaurants in town, I will be back! read more

This place is awesome. We saw the reviews and decided to give it a try and were not disappointed!! We got the crab Rangoon for an appetizer and it was so good. For entrees we got the pad see ew with shrimp and the drunken noodles with beef. You can choose the spice level, I got 1 which is mild and our other dish was a 3 which is pretty spice but still very good. They also have a really nice beer and wine selection and the staff was super friendly!! The place is super cute, I definitely recommend it! read more

Not yet adjusted to Daylight Savings Time, by the time we finished our hike our usual Thai place had closed after lunch, so we tried Moo Dang. Parking was a breeze. Friendly greeting as we entered and, as it was post lunch, there was no wait. We have our favorites but decided to try dishes not on the menu at our usual spot. I love Drunken Noodles, had the veggie version. My husband had a green curry with tofu. The dishes looked marvelous and were delicious. We are both kinda wimps when it comes to hear, so ordered medium. Not sure what was in my husband's curry but one mouthful had something so hot it took his breath away. Not in a good way! After he absorbed the heat he did carefully continue eating, but paying close attention to avoid another chili (or whatever it was). The servings were very generous, we brought home enough for another person to eat! All in all a yummy lunch. If we go again we'll ask for little spice! Bathroom floor needs an indepth cleaning. I was really upset by their service. I walked in with my family of 6 on a Sunday night at 7:50pm. Their establishment closes at 8:30pm, allowing us 40mins to order and dine which is plenty of time for us. There were some empty tables scattered around the restaurant, but they were smaller tables that fit 4. It was very obvious that they could just combine some tables to be able to seat us, but when we suggested this to them, they insisted that they did not have enough space. They then said that it was too late to seat us and restaurant was soon closing (in 40 mins...). It just seemed as if they were making up excuses to not seat us. They ended up suggesting that we order to go. Which we were not thrilled with, but we did anyway and brought our food back to eat in our hotel. While we were ordering to go, the waitress tried to bribe us. We felt that ordering 4 dishes for the 6 of us would be sufficient, but she said to us "if you order more dishes, the chefs said they are willing to allow you to dine in". We told her we can only finish 4 dishes and she said "no that's not enough". IM SORRY???? This is not morally right in my opinion. She refused to let us dine in, and then tried to bribe us by forcing us to order more. We chose not to dine in with them. Even when we ordered take out, it took over 40 mins for our food to come out. Meaning, had we ordered more and dined in, it would be well past closing time before we received all of our food. This just does not sit right with me. The food was fine, but the staff and service were shady. If you come here, I hope you have a better experience than me. read more

Oh Moo Dang, my favorite go to place for Thai noodles and appetizers, whether it's via Uber eats or going into the restaurant during lunch. It was quaint and quiet for a Tuesday afternoon. The service is always great and the flavors really hit the spot for cold weather. I usually order the drunken noodles but this time since I dined in I tried the Moodang soup with chicken instead of pork. My oh my it was so delicious I almost wanted to take nap in my booth and I was able to take the rest home with me. The leftovers were even perfect to warm up on the stove. Spice levels were right on as I don't like too spicy but added a little more of the chili pepper they had in house. I also got an order of the crab rangoons which were tasty snacks for my meal. A little too much cream cheese and the wontons could've been crisper but they were still eaten with the same desire as the soup. When I go to Moo Dang, I love getting the Pad Thai!! I have had probably every variation of it. For the second entree, we usually get something different each time, and then we share. This time we got the Pad See Ew, which my boyfriend loved, but I prefer the Pad Thai style noodles more. One thing I noticed is If we ordered the 3 or 4 star spicy level, it is never as spicy as we expect it to be, even if we are warned that the 4 star is "super spicy," but the spiciness is relative for anyone, we may have a high tolerance. Regardless, it is delicious! The fresh rolls with sauce are also an amazing appetizer. We have had the fish balls before, and neither one of us was a fan. Moo Dang is one of my go-to places when I am craving Thai food! It is local and family owned. I always notice the same employees here to help and they are always friendly. It looks like your typical Thai restaurant. You also could buy a t shirt if you wanted to (which I am tempted every time). Ahhhhhmazing! Oh Moo Dang, how I do love a restaurant that says NO MSG and means NO MSG! 10 Gold Stars because the service AND the food was phenomenal. And hidden away in a little strip mall around the corner from Plato's Closet, I wouldn't have even known that they were even there if I didn't shop until WAY after lunch time and needed food STAT! When your husband wants to go out to lunch and unfortunately you have every food allergy known to the Universe and beyond, you search every nook and crag for "The Restaurant" that won't make you look like a California Karen when you order food, or that won't have you bowing Shaolin Monk style at the public porcelain before the second bite. So here's the entire Moo Dang deal: You are greeted by the sweetest staff in a 5-state-radius, your are never ignored or bullied for your infinite questions regarding their meal prep, and OMGOODNESS, when they say, "we got you," they got you I ordered Singapore noodles because, you know, Singapore noodles are life. Not only did I need a little moment of silence as I ate my second and third bites of this NO MSG Noodle Heaven, I may have needed Tito to hand me a tissue in order to hold back a small but significant, heartfelt tear of food appreciation. Wanted to try another Thai place in town and this place always came up on my searches. Finally decided to try it out. Walked in and it was nice and quiet. The restaurant has a large dining area. Staff quickly greeted us and sat us down. Very friendly. The menu isn't overwhelming-- some good choices. We split the fried wontons, drunken noodles, and the pad Thai. Amazing-- I loved the sauce for the wontons, and loved how it wasn't just a ball of fried oil. We ordered mid-spicy for the entrees. The chicken and shrimp in the pad thai.... So good! We got beef for the drunken noodles. I liked the flavor of the pad Thai more but that's just personal preference. Everything was cooked perfectly and you can taste the freshness of the food! They had a good selection of beer so couldn't leave without that either. By the time we left... it was packed but the staff never rushed us. We originally drove to mid town to go to one of the other Thai restaurants in town, but couldn't find any parking. we jumped on yelp and found this place. Im glad we did, because this place because it was delicious. The hostess seated us promptly and took our orders. We got the Panang curry, drunken noodles, and the chicken satay. All of it was really good. The curry was thick and creamy, the veggies all tasted fresh, and the small heat in the dishes made them really tasty. My wife wasn't as big of a fan as I was. We ordered both the pad Thai and eggplant stir fry with #2 spiciness. It wasn't too spicy, just the right amount of heat next to no heat. The eggplant stir fry had really great flavor. It was so good. I can't put my finger on what spices and flavors they used, but it was tasty. The spring rolls came with a side of peanut sauce which was excellent. Everything had an authentic taste to it. The food portions were decent. Plenty enough food that we were able to take some home. My parents were happy and enjoyed the food and experience. The food was excellent. I can't wait to come back for more. The only thing that was missing here was a kids menu. They need like an option for chicken nuggets or hotdogs or something. Fun decor, (Moo-tang shirts on the wall the but wife did not approve lol) we were seated promptly. Food was decent. Not gonna lie, tom yum soup was a little too sour and the green curry was a bit too sweet for my taste but i dont have many experience with different thai spots, (only the 3rd one) so that can be debatable. Decided to try a new Thai restaurant tonight. We had an order of spring rolls that were pretty typical nothing amazing and Tom Ka soup - always a great selection and this was deliciously rich and flavorful served piping hot. Our order of Drunken Noodles was only warm, they should heat the plates before using because I think it was so cold it chilled the dish quickly. Okay, I am so, so happy that we stumbled upon Moo Dang after driving around and seeing everything closed on Easter Sunday. Earlier that day, I had made a comment that Moo Dang looked like a generic, wannabe Asian fusion restaurant to appeal to the masses. Welp... they still might be that. But man, their food here was amazing! The best part for me was that they have some amazing vegan options that really struck home for me. We ordered takeout since they were nearing closing time. Looking over their street cart ordering station, I noticed signs of them placing high on some Thai vegan salad competitions. Wait, what?! This is a thing? Best believe that we ordered one for ourselves. Our dinner started with their Vegan Nom Tok Salad - it was sticky, spicy, fresh, and delicious. I can see why this ranked highly as one of the best salads in town. Next, their Tom Ka with Tofu was also a huge hit. Lots of flavors without needing to use fish sauce - and just the right consistency with their coconut milk usage. Finally, we had their Fried Tofu Pad See-Ew and it was phenomenal. The flat rice noodles had that charred wok taste and they knew how to sue their light and dark soy sauces to deliver a fantastic dish. Only thing I wish they'd done was use Chinese broccoli but that's a minor thing in an otherwise amazing dish. Most items here were able to be veganized, so definitely ask. I hope more vegans come here because their food was incredible and I certainly am wanting to come back for another piece of that Moo Dang. Plenty of parking is available in a shared lot. read more

I tried Moo Dang for the first time and was not disappointed. When you walk in, you will see they have shirts for sale, one of which is a Moo Dang version of the Wu Tang Clan shirt. I knew I'd love the place just from that alone! We ordered the Pad Thai wings as an appetizer and loved the flavor. I ordered the Drunken Noodles with level 3 spice. I love spice and the level 3 was good for me, bordering on a little too spicy. The other folks in my party ordered the chicken and shrimp fried rice and the ginger and mushroom stir fry, both level 4 spice. Again, they both love spice and it was entirely too hot for them. Thai spice is a different level of spice so beware! Regardless, all of the food was delicious. The portion sizes were large and lasted all of us ~3 meals. I was a little disappointed they don't have yellow curry, which is my favorite Thai dish, but the other options were so great that I won't complain. Moo Dang also has awesome decor with Thai movie and tourism posters, which made it a bit different than the other Thai restaurants I've been to in the past. Overall, I highly recommend this place, especially compared to Thai Lotus. I know I have quite a few more Thai places to try, but Moo Dang may be my favorite! read more

Thai teas were good and Spring rolls were standard. Bang for your buck: Reasonable price for a big bowl of soup. Curry and noodles were decent portion sizes as well.
