    Birthday Event
    Danielle H.

I've been to mood swings 30+ times since it's opening, because I hosted my birthday here and had a Volo league. Most of the time it's a very positive experience, but today was awful. We rented a court for an hour outside, ordered some food and drinks, and then went inside because the tabs are all the same. I ordered it with a bartender, and she messed up order, never gave me my drinks. I ordered a bunch of food to go, with her and I sat at the bar waiting and she sent the food outside, so who knows how long it was sitting out there for... I didn't feel comfortable eating it at that point so that was a waste of $100. Never gave me the drinks that I ordered. She even confirmed with me that it was to go and that I wanted it here and still got it wrong. What a disappointing experience after coming here so many times and having it be wonderful. Sure there was an apology, but what about all of the wasted money I spent on food that I don't feel comfortable eating because it was left outside. She didn't even tell me that the food was outside. We had to go look, and then I was asking her for boxes so I could box it up and she just was not comprehending what I was saying. Overall with that bartender 1/5 experience. Every other time I've been there has been a great experience.

This is a pretty great place for a social gathering. Some people were there just to hang out and play games - so not just pickleball. It can be quite pricey even to book a few courts or rent a space. There are so many seating options and there are plenty of courts too. I think there are some outdoors as well. The indoor courts are nice when it's hot outside. Service is what it is. Can be kinda slow but I think it's just a big space. Food was okay. There are interesting pizza options just as chimichuri which was probably my favorite of the four we ordered. The white sauce pizza was okay. Parking is very limited but they have an easy street parking situation so that makes it easier since nothing is near by. So when it's busier, you may have to park on the street.

You wouldn't believe that a pickleball place has some of the best pizza in town! Even if you're not planning on playing pickleball, there's delicious food & drinks + tons of TV's. Highly recommend for a big group or fun activity, also family friendly!

Probably the most swanky PB facility in the most divey neighborhood Gorgeous layout with two bars, restaurant with great pizzas Plenty of places to hang and socialize Indoor and Outdoor courts Parking on premises

Denver just got a new adult playground with the opening of Moodswing. It's a massive space that combines a lot of things in one place: pickleball courts, a restaurant, full bar, coffee program, live music, co-working areas, event spaces, and what they say is the largest outdoor patio in Denver. The layout is full of different lounges and flexible areas, so you can work, relax, grab drinks, or play a few pickleball games depending on what kind of day you're having. Food focuses on brick oven pizzas along with shareable dishes like crispy Calabrian honey wings, Nonna's meatballs, and rosemary white bean dip. Everything is designed to be easy to share with a group. One of the fun features is the park play pickleball courts where you can jump into games with other players, which makes it feel social and interactive. Overall it's the kind of place where you stop by for a drink and end up staying a few hours.

Just a big spot to unwind meet friends and hang out for awhile. Plenty of good staff when you need, service will be excellent soon, Traditional pizza was good, with some special adventurous concoctions, awesome beer and beverage selection . Great facility for serious ballers, and friendly to beginners like me. So no need for rookies to feel intimidated, everyone should stop in, have a bite and a drink, and give pickleball a try!

From the ambience to great…read moreservice to unique wines to affordable food menu prices, my experience with this place almost 3 months ago was quite mesmerizing. Although I had waited this long to write about the place, everything I experienced back then still lingers in my brain. Hence, I am taking the time to write about it. I was going to utilize the "stand up bar tasting of however many wines you can sample" at the price of $20. Unfortunately, the bar was full for that. I was thus kindly asked to get a table and do a flight at the price of $10. What? Only $10? Sure, why not!?!? My waiter (young man in his 20's) was most welcoming and kind-hearted. I forgot his name after the passing of the time. His attentiveness was top-notch. After getting a few suggestions and advice from my wonderful waiter, I went with Roussanne and Orange Muscat as white, Malbec, Carignon and Cabernet Sauvignon as red for my wine flight. Let's not forget to mention. Balistreri's wines are all natural Colorado wines with no sulfites, no additives and are not filtered or fined. What's not to like about all that criteria that they can offer. For food, I got the cheese board ($18 as of May 2026.) I looked at other menu items and the prices for them were quite reasonable despite the fact that this place emits very high-end restaurant feel. After all, this is a family-run business that cares about serving people in the community. I feel that this is their way to say thank you to those who support them. In a neighborhood where three different interstates intertwine, unless someone told you about it, you wouldn't think such a place existed in this North Washington neighborhood. I discovered this place while ago. I am not sure why I had waited this long to visit and see it for myself. Better late than never. Palisade is a gem in the western Colorado but it's at least 4-hour drive from Denver. If you want to save some time and spend some quality time at a winery in a beautiful setting, Balistreri is within your reach.

Then when he did acknowledge me and I stated I would sit at the bar, it took several minutes for the bartender to acknowledge me. The staff was busy speaking to each other and doing side work. Once I was acknowledged, things started getting a little better. When I arrived during breakfast/brunch, I was informed they were in the middle of a menu change, so my choices were limited. Breakfast items include bacon and burritos. I started off with a charcuterie board (though I had asked for a fromage board). This was not only because I wanted some tasty cheese, but I was trying to kill time until the lunch/dinner menu started. The board was a great board, two different meats, three cheeses, a loaf of bread, some nuts and jellies. But it was 40 dollars! I had a few small plates (which was still a lot of food). I had a melon and cucumber salad, which was a good palate cleanser. I also had the roasted king mushrooms, which were underwhelming with no seasoning, and they were a little chewy. The best thing was the wild boar meatballs, which were seasoned really well and in a savory, delicious marinara sauce. All the cocktails were fruity (but not sweet) and refreshing. I had one that was carrot based (Kiss my Carrot with tequila, cointreau, carrot, orange, and ginger), one that had pineapple flavor (paper boat with rum, falernum, aperol, lemon, pineapple), and the smoky smoke and flower (hibiscus mezcal, cointreau, pama, rose water). This spot is a winery, so they have a large wine list. They have handhelds like burgers and flatbreads. Starters like artichoke dip and bruschetta. Some of the current entrees, which might change, are hanger steak, chilean salmon, cauliflower steak. They had a gnocchi dish I was interested in, but it's already been removed from the menu. The restaurant is classy and just like a winery is expected to be. The food is pretty good. But the service was really subpar.

It's very expensive to play the games. I was at a group event, so I didn't have to, but I would not go back and play a $10 per race car game that's only a couple minutes long each. The minimum is about a $50 charge, you can't go alone/have to have at least 2 people, and online it says that's 5 games & also says that's 45 mins. There's also a lull reload time in between games, so you're also paying for that time not racing and just waiting. They do have a happy hour, so that's cool. I wonder if they get busy for that, but it is only M-F from 3-6. There is currently beer, wine, and a couple of cocktails for $5 - $8 and a few snacky food items for $8. I guess they'll always have the restaurant and corporate packages, if that's enough business. As a regular person, it's a pretty expensive night out between the game package price, food, drinks. They even have some cocktails priced at $23+, come on, people! Why don't we just charge $50 a drink? I don't know how people are affording to go out at the full prices anymore. I'd def hit it up for happy hour again, but that would be it for me.
