love the crown molded ceiling that gives this place an extra pop
    Katie D.

A minimalistic neutral toned roomy spot with aesthetic yummy drinks and fast wifi! I love the crown molded ceiling that gives this place an extra pop. I ordered the Crème Brûlée Matcha. The drink features a torched layer sugar at the top, adding an extra fun texture to the drink and mimicking the French dessert. The drink was solid and I loved the extra crunch. We arrived at 4PM on a Thursday. It was moderately busy, we easily found seating and our drink came out quickly. For seating, there are 4 small round tables, 1 long rectangular table, 1 sofa, and counter seating facing the windows. There is 1 gender neutral restroom and it is clean. They also sell merchandise here. Keep in mind the air conditioning here is cold, make sure to visit with warmer clothes. Our hands were freezing after staying for several hours. This spot is located in a plaza with plenty of parking.

Was in the area and finally decided to give this a try! Lots of parking, good seating on the inside with a minimalist vibe, VERY busy so be prepared to wait no matter the time of day Service was good! They looked overworked but the girl who helped me was kind and was able to keep smiling through the rush. Got the cookie butter latte, minus star for running out of the cookie pieces and not telling me until after I paid for my drink, latte was fine, cookie butter foam was really good tho. I would come back to try the other flavors.

My coworkers and I were getting our matcha and coffee fix in and chose Brew Story! We all really liked our drinks. Though we were missing an order, we came back and the barista was very kind and apologetic (granted we had 10 orders!!!) Thank you brew story we will be back!!

Brew Story used to be my favorite OC matcha, but I feel like ever since they got popular, the quantity of drinks they make has been affecting the quality :( The banana foam was on the bottom of the drink, whereas before it sat on the top and tasted great with the toffee bits. The matcha is still great quality, but it feels like they're putting less and less banana foam the more popular they get, and the fresh banana is what they're best at.

Banana matcha 3/5: I got it with almond milk and the banana was more so mixed in versus cold foam. Flavor was good and seems like a strong matcha but I prefer a thicker consistency. The bits on top were just an okay addition, a little too much of it. Earl grey matcha 3.5/5: strong earl grey flavor, very forward and potent but again very thin consistency for me. Cafe is has lots of room inside and would be a good place to study.

Very very interesting place. My husband and I were invited by one of our kids for an after lunch coffee and the place is packed with young adults! As in packed and chattering..you have to speak loudly to hear each other. :) Nothing very spectacular with the place but it's obviously popular for a reason. The ambiance is very minimalist --blank walls, a few round cracked-on-the-side tables, one lone tree decor in the middle of the room, a lounge chair...one needs a creative eye to appreciate the entire thing :) Lots of young people lining up to make and claim their order...I later learned that this place is heavily - and obviously effectively marketed on social media. Certainly a hip place to go for the youngsters and an interesting place to check out for us older ones :)

The Banana Cream Latte and Banana Cream Matcha are so delicious. It's the number one item the baristas recommend and it's truly worth it. The banana flavor comes through so nicely and the coffee itself is not too sweet so the drink is nicely balanced. I'm not a matcha fan myself, but I really liked the matcha version of this drink (slightly better than the coffee actually!) because the matcha is so smooth. My sister got the Earl Grey Matcha and it was also very tasty and smooth. The service is excellent. It gets busy with students, but you'll get your drink pretty quickly. Seating can be limited, especially for groups. We came during the week around 3pm and the seating was a bit full, but we managed to get a table for us three. Also, not sure if they have a small selection of pastries in general but we didn't see many when we came in. It's possible they sell out quick!

This is the best flavored latte shop in Orange County! I have been there many times for their Banana Cream Latte. My daughter also loves their Matcha and she is super picky and has been to over 100 matcha places (I don't personally drink them). Line can get long during busy times so I always order ahead through Toast. Pastries are good as well but they typically sell ou

Worth checking out for their viral banana matcha!! They're a second favorite after taty's coffee's but only for their banana matcha. So far, the other drinks I've tried are pretty comparable to other coffee shops in OC. Thank god the hype died down though - no more horrendous lines or wait. Since it remains a popular spot among students, seating can be a hit or miss if you come after noon. Free wifi, some outlets, cool interior, strong AC, abundant parking, & recently extended hours until 7 pm.

New favorite cafe in OC! Tbh that says a lot in OC because one thing we have no shortage of here are aesthetic cafes with craft coffee and good vibes. But, Brew Story stands out for a few reasons: 1. Parking is easy and free in this strip mall. For me, this is a huge perk. 2. The variety is incredible, they have everything from a cookie butter latte to strawberry shortcake matcha and black sesame soft top. There's just so many options here that even if I always want to get the black sesame soft top matcha (which I do) there's always something new to try. 3. Lots of seating! Why do some places have like 1-2 tables? I want to sit and relax or do work and stay a while (and btw will order another drink while I do so)! There's a long table here for big groups, a few smaller ones, a more loungey area and a counter with bar stools. The one thing you might not love about this spot if you're used to a quick mobile order and pick up with no wait coffee situation is that it is a bit of a wait. I wouldn't come here if you're in a rush. Other than that, it's a great spot to enjoy a yummy pastry and flavored latte.

A fun, trendy coffee shop! The latte was delicious with high quality vanilla. Food was a little sparse mid morning on a Saturday, but that's to be expected. Great staff and quick service with modern seating within. Worth a stop!

The matcha here was great and they have a diverse selection of matcha + coffee.I got a large cookie butter matcha and it was really good! It wasn't too sweet and the place was really generous with their cream top as well! The service was also really fast as well! I got my drink within 10 mins of placing it! Lastly, there was plenty of seating indoors + parking as well! I would come back here again to try the other flavors!

They've been consistently amazing ever since they opened, and somehow they've only gotten better over time. I honestly enjoy just about every drink on their menu, especially their seasonal specials. My all-time favorite has to be their 2026 Spring Earl Grey Matcha. I was getting it almost every week, and I was genuinely sad when they switched over to their summer menu. Thankfully, they kept the Mango Sticky Rice Matcha, because wow... what a flavor explosion. It's easily one of the best matcha drinks I've ever had, and my friend and I keep coming back just for it. I know it sounds a little adventurous, because it did to me, but when I tried it, it genuinely changed my life (kidding). If mango isn't your thing, I highly recommend either the Double Matcha or the Banana Matcha. The Double Matcha is perfect if you love a strong matcha flavor; you can really taste the quality of the matcha they use. As for the Banana Matcha, I normally don't gravitate toward banana drinks, but SIP completely changed my mind. They use what tastes like a banana pudding instead of artificial banana flavoring, and it blends so smoothly with the matcha that every sip feels balanced and indulgent. The café itself is just as charming as the drinks. The wood paneling gives the space a cozy, retro vibe that makes you want to stay a while, and the staff is always incredibly friendly, patient, and welcoming.

Now the MATCHA I looooved their matcha with the Earl Grey foam top. OMG... it was phenomenal!! The matcha was earthy, umami, and so well balanced, and the hint of Earl Grey in the foam complemented it perfectly without overpowering the matcha. Such a good combination! I will 100% be coming back for this one!

It was a very small drink (9 oz). It was slightly salted, tasted bitter, and wasn't sweet despite having condensed milk as an ingredient. It wasn't good. Canale: Despite having to wait for the drink, I needed to wait longer for this because the staff forgot to put it in the order. I needed to wait for them to prepare it in the back and also go back to the counter to charge for it. All to wait for something that was mushy. Coffee Beans: I saw there were coffee beans from Glitch in Japan. It was a brand that I loved there so I wanted to give it a try. I don't usually like fruity notes but this was really delicious. However, it's extremely pricy for how little beans there is.

Everything on the menu sounded delicious, but we narrowed it down to the Seafood Ceviche, Matcha Cloud Latte, Egg Coffee, plus the Beef Belly Banh Mi Chao. The Seafood Ceviche comes with scallops, shrimp, calamari, mango, coconut, Thai chili, plus shrimp chips. This was such a clean and bright bite with a little tropical flavor from the mango and coconut. There was a nice kick of spice too. They gave a good amount of seafood, so you weren't just eating toppings and sauce. Scoop everything onto one of those crispy shrimp chips... so good. The Matcha Cloud Latte was dangerously easy to drink. I genuinely think I could take down three of these. It's made with oat milk then topped with matcha cheese foam.
