Late night, 10pm, order of a gyro and souvlaki plate delivered to wrong address by GrubHub (my mistake, sent to address across the street from my hotel). Even though we had to walk across and down the street to retrieve or meal 25 minutes after it was recorded delivered, food was still warm. Potions were okay. If you're hungry, definitely order a starter or share a 3rd dish. Tasty but did not . Found out there are similar trucks to order from in the same area when we ate at Huber's the following night (btw, don't order the fish and chips or the bread pudding at Huber's if you go...yuck!). Got the chicken over rice . It was amazing . Flavor on the chicken was great and the rice too was really great . Came with I think a white garlic sauce on top , and a bit of a spicy sauce which I loved . Came with hummus that was the best hummus I've ever had. And tzatziki that was also the best tzatziki I've ever had , thought it was pretty unique tazizki because of how thick it was and how it had bigger strips of cucumber . The man behind it all was really nice and friendly and I enjoyed talking to him too . All of this for only 14$ . Amazing . If I'm ever in Portland again I'll be returning . read more

Hands down best Mediterranean food in the city pumping out of a little food cart in the heart of Downtown Portland. Falafel is some of the best I've ever had and the best in PDX don't @ me. The Kafta is so good that I have to always add a side Kebab to my Falafel plate. Choosing just one of them is not even an option anymore for me, I know I must have both! I'm not a fan of Cucumber at all, that's why I opt out on the Tzatziki side and double down on the Hummus. I've heard from friends that the Tzatziki is not to be passed up on so if you are a Cucumber fan than the Tzatziki may be a must try for you. read more

Stopped by after a night out and wow, they are so worth the trip! I called to make sure it was still open (we got there at 2am) and yes they were! The owner was so friendly and he made sure to cater to all of our needs! Got their lamb gyro and it was made to order so the meat was hot and juicy, the vegetables crisp and refreshing, the wrap itself soft, chewy, and warm. The sauce on top was literally and figuratively the cherry on top! Creamy and flavorful, I literally stuffed my face because of how intensely delicious the gyro. I'm already looking forward to my next dose of their gyro, and maybe I'll get to try some other things on the menu too! read more

Best gyro I've had in America since my family's favorite spot closed in Seattle. I will be returning to this food cart every time I visit Portland in the future, the owner and chef is wonderful to talk to and the ingredients are very fresh and prepared quickly. This place is freaking great and open until the wee hours of the morning. We came here for our first night in Portland and ordered a koftka saj and beef gyro. Both were absolutely delicious, though I prefer Shawarma Express at another pod of food trucks. I found that the ordering was a bit of a mess with people coming in with Ritual and postmates (or whatever) and there were two windows so parties would go up to both windows to order. It was a bit chaotic. Also, this place is a bit pricier than other Mediterranean carts, fyi. I found the food good, but I think I'd rather stick to Shawarma Express, which had slightly better food and less confusion. read more

Late night Menchie's got you down. Hit up this joint. Although half of us were drunk as drunk gets the other half remember it just fine. Ordered the chicken kebab but switched to the chicken and rice. I didn't see the picture that showed the white sauce on it and he gladly made us another. Although I hate having to send stuff back I am happy to say he offered to make things right and that goes along way. As for the food, the chicken is some of the best chicken we have every had. We were definitely not expecting this place to be so good. The chicken had the perfect char on it.
