I got an allergic reaction here after asking about the dish having nuts. Outside of that the cinnamon French toast French toast was pretty good

Good food, fast and friendly service, left super satisfied. I split a chicken Caesar salad wrap with a side of fries and as soon as you order I saw the fries drop in the oil on my way to the bathroom. The wrap was packed with chicken that was hot juicy and fresh! The fries were also the good thick cut fries which I loved. Everything came out hot. Will definitely come back whenever I head over to Bloomingdales.

Made a reservation online via Google assistant and did not have to wait on a Saturday at 11. Their coffee was just okay but their service was attentive to get our orders and food came decently fast. My sister did not enjoy the chicken soup bc it tasted really sour/tasted off and stopped eating it 2 bites in. I ordered the breakfast wrap which did not have much flavor! I ordered the fries well done and they had three perfect crunch and saltiness! My friends really enjoyed their breakfast sandwiches!

Rather disappointing diner with burgers not exactly cooked as requested ! We stopped by here for a quick bite last night. I ordered a Wyoming burger (barbeque chees and bacon) and my friend a traditional cheeseburger. We asked for medium well and medium rare. Neither was cooked the way we liked it. The restaurant itself is a traditional diner without counter seating. However, it was not a great experience eating there, and I am not sure if I will ever return.

THE AUDACITY to charge $2 for a bagel and another $2 for toasting and cream cheese .. I DIDN'T EVEN GET $2 WORTH OF CREAM CHEESE!! I've had better food in a corner deli.

    A waterlogged salmon salad

Yesterday I had lunch at the Moonstruck eatery. I began with matzo ball soup, which was nothing to rave about. The salmon salad was hardly edible. The salmon was just OK. The salad greens were roquette, my favorite, and always a good choice. However, they were waterlogged and wilted, and tasted as if the prep line never dried them, or even bothered to discard the ones that should not to be served in a $24 salad. Of course, tomatoes are not in season, so not much to say about that, except cherry tomatoes would have been a better choice. The red onion was cut much too wide for a salad. I would not recommend those salads.

Following our runner around during the New York Marathon was exhausting, and we needed food! We saw this place, as we were looking, another person walked out and said the food was good. All we needed! We seated ourselves, told our waiter we didn't have a long time, and we were off to the best surprise of the whole day. Our waiter was friendly, very funny, and quite efficient. The food was amazing! Everything was fresh, the fries were hot, and we loved it. What a fabulous surprise! The owner was pleased when we thanked him, and said our server had been with him for 27 years. What a team.

That's hash brown that's soft and mushy and a wrap that taste nothing like the ingredients stated on menu.

This was one of the worst breakfast service I've gotten in years! And I mean years... Walking past one early morning and wanted some breakfast... place looked clean and nice ambiance. Went in and asked the waiter... "Ramon" about the breakfast wrap which was written on the menu as "scrambled eggs, onions, peppers and cheese" in a wrap, with a order of hash browns on the side. It was literal mush with no taste and the hash browns were burnt to a char. I kindly called Ramon over to change my hash brown and he told me that's how they come if I didn't want it over done I should have said. I further told him kindly to replace it with one that's less charred. He brought back my dish and told me they only scraped the char off and that's how they do it here and walked away. Wow!!! Upon trying the wrap it wasn't tasty and it didn't even seem like eggs were in the wrap, or better yet it didn't look appealing. Nicely again I called Tamin to change the dish because I couldn't eat it, it just wasn't tasty to me. His response was "If you didn't want it why would you order it? That is how it comes and that's what you are going to get!" I honestly kept my composure and said can I get the menu to order something else please because I'm not going to argue over food or eat something that's not appealing or to my liking. He further went on to repeat that it's what I ordered and don't get something from menu that I don't want and then complain along with other things that I ignored because I just wanted to leave. Like seriously... how was I to know it wasn't going to look like a wrap or even taste like what was supposed to be in it. So I just asked for my bill and he gave it to me. Took off the wrap and I paid for my hot chocolate and left. Wasn't the best service and I'm not bashing the restaurant, but as far as the service I received I will not be going back ever! Worst service Ramon. Don't treat your customers so crappy over food that they are to consume. P.S I am an upcoming food blogger and trust me... in the future if I come back here and he's (Ramon) still giving shitty service you'll get the write up of a lifetime. I didn't get to take a pic of the burnt hash browns. Only thought of it after they scraped the burnt off and not a fresh serving. I have 2 stars only because the restaurant looked clean and cozy for breakfast dining. Everything else for me was a no! Service and food wasn't great at all.

Very good standard fare, if you're in the neighborhood. No wait, tasty omelettes, pancakes. It's not gourmet but it's certainly enjoyable.

The ambiance feels straight of the golden age, which is an aesthetic I'm certainly a sucker for. Even their robust cocktail menu fits the bill and is one of the prettiest menus I've ever had the joy of perusing. Staff was able to sit us a little bit ahead of our reservation which was also much appreciated. Wait staff was also very helpful and attentive, I don't think I've ever had my water glass so topped off! Starting off with cocktails, this place is a gin bar through and through and you'd be making a mistake if you didn't try one of their many options. I went with the 10,000 words, which you simply just give a spirit of your choice (I picked gin of course) and whether you antes) wanted your drink shaken or stirred and the bartender does the rest, so a bit of a surprise! I wound up with their version of The Last Word which was delightfully citrusy but I was hoping I'd wind up with something a little more adventurous app things considered. My girlfriend got the blackberry G&T, which was not only very pleasing to look at but delicious to boot. For food, we started with splitting some zucchini blossoms and beef cheek bao buns (both come in portions of 3). Both were tasty, but I love a good bao bun and these were so light and pillowy, I could have just went for an order of those for my main course. For the entree I went for the roasted half chicken, perhaps the most unassuming choice on the menu but this was maybe the best roast chicken I've ever had. Prepared perfectly, cooked to perfection, excellent portion size, and the kicker of it all was the stunning gravy that I was tempted to lick my plate for. Chicken is very easy to screw up, and they nailed it on all fronts here. My girlfriend went for the Valerie Signature burger with white cheddar and this thing did not mess around! A very rich patty, cooked to her temperature of choice served alongside some garlic truffle fries that made an American classic feel just a little more elevated. Our experience was delightful and I'd love to comeback here again, especially to check out more of the cocktail menu and soak in more of that golden age aura the place gives.

It was our first time eating at a Friedman's location. It had a nice diner feel to it, with a mix of booths and tables. The brunch menu has a variety of breakfast items, salads, sandwiches and burgers, starters, and entrees (fish tacos, grain bowl, fried chicken). I like that several of the items are naturally gluten free, and some can be made gluten free by request. We decided to go with three breakfast items from the brunch menu: I got the shakshuka, my sister got the Nova Benny, and we got the lemon ricotta pancakes to share. All 3 dishes were great. The shashuka came with grilled ciabatta, perfect for dipping into the sunny side eggs and tomato sauce. My sister loved that the poached eggs and smoked salmon of the Nova Benny came on top of a crispy potato latke. The pancakes were fluffy and the lemon ricotta and lemon zest elevated their flavor. Our server was friendly and attentive, and he asked us if we had any allergies when he took our order. He came by several times to check on us and refill water. I would return to Friedman's when I'm in the Herald Square area, or check out one of their other locations in the city.

We got their garganelli, tagliatelle, and ravioli pastas. For dessert, the iconic tiramisu. Garganelli- This has a nice, arugula pesto sauce that has a rich garlicky finish. It's enhanced with roasted mushrooms and sharp pecorino. Tagliatelle- You get a rich pork and beef bolognese. The house made pasta is cooked to perfection. Pretty satisfying! From the outside it didn't look like much but after passing through the two sets of glass doors... It's packed. And lively. And (really) loud. And it was only a Tuesday night?! (How are all of these people living so high on the hog, without a care in the world?!) We were escorted off to a little tucked-away enclave near the back, but the restaurant was just too boisterous and we had to shout just to talk to people at the other end of the table. We got our menus and there was a bit of 'sticker shock' on my part, I can't lie. "We're in NYC, what did you expect?" - the Mrs. whispered when she saw my eyes go wide. But $38 for chicken parm? (Which is what I went with after seeing it had its own little "parm-fection" hype on the menu.) And $36 for the Branzino (which consisted of one fillet on a small bed of wilted spinach)? Our table dabbled all over the place and for the most part everyone really enjoyed their meals. The food they're knocking out is legit, for sure. But the bill came out to over $60 a person (including the tip, but we didn't have apps or dessert and half of us just had water), which hurts when you're a cheap-o like myself. Our waitress was awesome (and she didn't even seem fazed when I tried to rattle her that we were going to split the check onto nine different credit cards... but we only used one). And Bryant Park (right across the street) was the perfect nightcap on a lovely spring evening.
