Went here while I was in Show Low for a week for work. there were a ton of cars in the parking lot and it was rated pretty highly on Yelp so I thought I would give it a shot. If i was coming here for a beer I would be plenty happy. tons of draft selections and a cool little dive feel and super friendly staff. I ordered the chipotle Philly. when the sandwich came out it looked pretty decent but after my first bite i realized there was absolutely no flavor to the sandwich just a lot of spice. I didn't think that was possible but after a few more bits the only thing i was getting from this Philly was a burning mouth with no flavoring. It was disappointing to say the least. I wasn't super hungry to begin with so I didn't both saying anything. everyone else at the table enjoyed what they ordered so I'm sure it was a fluke but I'm rating my experience on this only. As good as it gets. Friendly and funny staff, great beer selection and awesome food. I had the southwest cheese steak sandwich. This sandwich was spicy, loaded with all the good stuff and delicious. They also have really cheap beer flights. Six 4oz glasses for $8. Eat and drink here, you won't be disappointed. read more

We came on a super busy night (pig roast), but the staff was accommodating. We would have liked to try the roast, but there was very little left by the time we got seated. We opted for the dinner menu which might have earned more stars had it not been so busy. The live music was quite good. read more

Came up to Show Low to enjoy a week away from the Phoenix Metro, and explore our great state. Yelped to find a good restaurant in the area. The kids thought burgers sounded good, so found Moose Henri through yelp, with its excellent reviews. I have to agree, this small, hideaway gastropub is excellent. They have several microbrews on tap. There is a bar, some high tables, medium tables, and normal tables. This is a place for families and friends to talk it up, have a great loud laugh, cheer and jeer the teams on the several TV's showing different sports. It's relaxed, and it's fun. I had the Moose Burger. Absolutely excellent. 1/2 Pound of angus beef, cooked perfectly medium as requested, and quite juicy and tasty. The burger was perfect. I had mushrooms and pepper jack. Fresh lettuce, pickles, red onion. Didn't even need ketchup. It was perfect as is. I was impressed. The wife had Horseradish Cheddar on hers. She added a little salt to hers, but otherwise was just as good. Kids had Sirloin, perfectly prepared. I had Chili Cheesy Rice, which was good. My wife had the same burger, and the Jalapeño Coleslaw, which she says was quite good. Happened to hit it on Sunday, when they make some brined chicken wings, which were perfect. All in all, I was very happy. This reminded me of a place I used to eat at in Hurley, NY called the Hurley Mountain Inn. Dead animals on the walls, kind of odd paraphernalia on the walls (mostly skiing related, but there was a Chargers Rally Towel there as well), and just the kind of atmosphere that makes you feel very welcome, no matter where you're from. Great food and even better service! We were greeted and sat immediately by a super friendly guy (I believe the owner). He ran through their beer selection and all of their food specials. Our waitress Tiffany was super sweet and personalable. The pork posole was absolutely incredible. Very flavorful, with a kick of spice. Pork wings and the BLT were delicious too! I don't understand how you couldn't give this place 5 stars! My family has had a second home in the area for almost 20 years, and we are so happy to have a great place like to hang out in! The beer selection is primo, with mostly local beers. However, the real gem for us is the food. It is not your standard pub fare. It's familiar, but delicious. For example - ceviche in a bar? Grilled swordfish tacos? Skewers with choose your own rub/sauce? You can also eat healthy here, if so desired. Moose is a great guy, super friendly, gave us the wifi so I could check in here on yelp. Hubby and I ate dinner there on Sunday night. Warm greetings at the door and to sit anywhere we wanted. Hubby had the 8oz Bison Burger with cheese/bacon and a healthy side of beans. I chose the Wild Caught Alaskan Salmon with Slaw/Cranberries/Jalapeños. The Salmon seasoned rub and dips were very good. Both meals were delicious and the other customers were very friendly too! I was so looking forward to the slaw!! Perfect combination of cranberries and jalapeños!!! But I was disappointed, I didn't get any heat and there really wasn't much flavor. That being said, the service was good and I ate the rest of my meal in enjoyment. (Hint: the pepper jack cheese is no joke!). This place is an amazing little local gem, don't let the lackluster exterior fool you! Inside you'll find a treasure trove of local memorabilia, a ton of large flatscreen tv's to watch any sports activity you can think of, and strong pours. But what you don't expect is how great the food is! The chicken wings are smoked outside and come with a great variety of sauces, beer cheese & pretzels were on point, and the fish tacos were the BIG winner of the night. Packed full of fresh jalepeño slaw and generous portions of perfectly cooked white fish, overall a great experience! In town for the weekend and looked on yelp this place was highly rated compared to others. Atmosphere leaves a little to be desired but staff was wesome and nice. The food was great really good and spicy(ghost pepper cheese). Beer was a great selection but one of our pints was flat. Kids had Max n cheese which was homemade and bomb as fuck! I hate the belly burger and it was "mmmm...mmm that is one good burger". I will go back if given the opportunity and libate more generously. read more

Went there recently on a visit to the area, looking for a place that was open (since most of Pinetop/Show Low apparently closes at 9:00) where we could get some food and watch the ASU game. Luckily, Moose Henri's was still open. The beer selection was excellent with a lot of good options on tap. I asked our server what she would recommend, and she did a great job suggesting something based on what I typically like in a beer. I also ordered the chicken kabobs with the chipotle bbq sauce on them, and there were excellent. Unfortunately ASU played like crap, so that put a damper on the night, but the service, food, and drinks were excellent. We would definitely go back the next time we're looking for a place with good food and drinks to watch a game in the area. read more

Are there nicer joints out there? Heck yeah. This place definitely qualifies as a dive. That said, before you turn up your nose and look for something with more BMWs and lifted Escalades in the parking lot, let me tell you a little something. This place has a very good local (AZ) craft beer selection and their Belly Burger, made with beef and pork belly, was damn good. If you've been playing outside all day and are dusty and dirty, don't want to be judged and get the goods, check this place out. read more

Headed to Greer and stopped for lunch. Everything we ordered was outstanding, service was friendly and diligent. Highly recommend!

While staying in Show Low, on vacation we tried this spot. It is very easy to miss, the signage is a tad unassuming. The only reason we stopped the first night was because of the reviews on Yelp- which said that they closed at 10:00, when we got in there, only the bar waas open until 10:00 the restaurant was closed. (!!!!) I was so tired and annoyed because I was under the impression that with advertising Yelp on your door, you would value the accuracy of the publicity you present on the website. We ended up trying again for lunch the next day because it was so close. The atmosphere is quaint and decorated with all sorts of moose paraphernalia and it has this small town vibe. There is a jukebox that my kids were excited about because they hadn't seen one before. There are TVs all over the place playing sports. I went there with my mother and law and four kids. We had to grab menus ourselves. There was only one older lady serving the entire restaurant and bar. Even though she was sweet and did her best to be attentive, there were just too many customers at the same time (a good problem to have I guess). The previous customers tables' hadn't been bussed. Another table didn't even get acknowledged for like 10 minutes because our server didn't see (or hear) them come in. They assumed (like us) that you are supposed to seat yourself because there wasn't a sign indicating anything otherwise. I love that there buns are from a local bakery. Mom and I ordered burgers Medium Rare; they came out Medium Well, but tasted good. The kids all ordered soft pretzels and they came with "beer cheese" which was good, but a little too spicy for the kids, and there weren't any alternatives. Mom got the jalapeño cranberry coleslaw and said it was great. For the price, I wouldn't say it was great. I don't regret going, but I would try another place before going back. read more

Omg seriously the best wings, bison burger, chicken sandwich, brat, beans, beer! The atmosphere is your normal mountain sports bar feel which I'm all in! We came for lunch on Saturday at 11:15am and it was pretty busy. We were greeted and seated immediately. The waitress/bartender went thru what they are known for 30+ pulls of mostly Arizona craft beers and wings on the weekends. My husband is sober and likes non alcoholic beer, normally there might be 1 a restaurant has, they had 4! The wings are different because they are "naked" and come with sauces on the side..honesty the BEST! We added their homemade chimchurri to the mix and it was FAB! Homemade in house! My son had the bison burger and actually finished it which was a first. My husband had the brat with onions, peppers, and sauerkraut he said it was amazing and the roll was awesome. He had the baked beans on the side...again AWESOME! I had the sober chicken sandwich and added green chiles, sautéed peppers and onions, pepperjack cheese, and a side of chimichurri sauce....it was HUGE! Oh and I had it on a ciabatta roll...thank god so I can bring half home. All I can say is we will be for sure coming here again! read more

Out in the middle of nowhere for work with my colleague. We decided to go with the Yelp reviews for Moose Henri's. If you like a good local vibe, good food and entertaining folks, you have found your spot. We had wings with several sauces and yummy Mahi Mahi tacos. The highlight was meeting Rachel, the bartender of the day. She had the kitchen staff make some really good HOT sauce for the wings that are not on the menu, plus many good tips on the area. We felt very welcome, even though we were the ONLY non local folks. We are going back in a couple of days for another good meal. Next time the burger, it looks awesome. Truly wished that I lived closer to Moose Henri's because it has the "beer after work" atmosphere! With so many Arizona craft beers to choose from, you have to try a flight first to get to know your beer! As I have, hopefully you find many favorites! Just a few worth mentioning: Black Horse Brewery Black Stallion (local Show Low brewery), Mud Shark Desert Magic IPA (Lake Havasu City brewery), Kilt Lifter (Tempe brewery) and anything from the Grand Canyon Brewing Co. What goes better with beer than food? My hands down favorites are the ceviche and the chicken wings. The ceviche is usually a Friday or Saturday night thing and the chicken wings are only on Sundays. Well, believe me, both are worth marking the days of the week on the calendar! The sauces served with the chicken wings make them the perfect meal for the whole family. They come on the plate naked (well, actually brined and grilled) with five different sauces: teriyaki, barbecue, ranch, buffalo and chimichurri. Personally, I love the chimichurri. Moose Henri's has a great location, right on Hwy. 260 in Wagon Wheel (between Show Low and Pinetop-Lakeside), the staff is always friendly and helpful, the food is original and tasty, and the beer is, well, the beer tastes great by itself or with any of the food on the menu. read more

We're from Las Vegas and I have to say Moose Henris' is as cool a lil sports bar as I've come across in a long time, plenty of room/ tables, cool memorabilia everywhere, and the best smoked chicken wings we've ever had, and that's from a wing eating man...! Tiffany and the staff treated us we were long time locals and the friendship was instantaneous. 80 ice cold beers on tap and as stated before, the service was outstanding...PS, whoever programs the juke box could be be working in classic rock radio....thanks for a great evening in a lil mountain town that makes you feel like you're home... Wow!! Arizona Highways and the local paper were right on! Great food, great beer/wine selections and great staff equals one great place. The menu offers a fantastic selection. I enjoy the fish taco's as well as the kebab's.. also the half pound burger and.. well just get a menu and opt for yourself, as I did. The monthly pig roasts are insane! Add the occasional menu addition's and it just keeps on getting better! 30 plus beer taps makes for something that everyone can enjoy. I'm not a wine drinker.. but I have only heard nothing but complements on the selections. You don't get published in a major magazine as one of the top places to go to for nothing folk's! Stopped in during an overnight trip because of all the good reviews on Yelp. Walked in and the place was fairly packed which we thought was a good sign. First things first...the server. Service was OK but the server made it seem like she didn't even want to be there and that we were just an inconvenience to her. This place is supposed to have a ton of beer on tap and so when we asked for a beer list, we were told they don't have one and was told "there is a chalk board over there you can look at..." And she pointed in the general direction of where it was, so we decided to pass on the beer. We were handed a double sided page which was the menu. Not too much to choose from. We made our decision and placed our order. Grilled cheese for my young daughter - was really hard and she said she couldn't chew it and for some reason said it made her face itch. Sirloin steaks - the steaks were good, probably the only good thing we got that night. The sides that came with the meals... Salad - nothing special. Bagged salad with ranch. I actually didn't eat mine. Roasted red potatoes - it was actually just a single potato cut up into pieces. It was pretty good so I'm only sorry the portions weren't a bit larger. Cheesy chili rice - now don't let this fool you. Not really any cheese. It was more Spanish rice with either green chilies or jalapeños. Pretty spicy which is the only thing that saved this side. Other than that, nothing memorable. Probably won't return. read more
