This is the best moving company I've ever used. I don't plan on moving for a long time, but when I do, I will use them again, and in the meantime, I will recommend them to everyone I know who is moving. They were able to book my move on short notice, they showed up right at the start of the move-in window, and they were great about communicating with me throughout the whole process (I accidentally wrote my phone number down incorrectly, and they still managed to find my email to get a hold of me on the day of my move in!) The three guys who came to move me out of my storage unit (Edgar, Lino, & Gregorio) were so nice, managed to get the moving truck into the very crowded storage unit parking lot, and packed up all of my storage in about half an hour. They then took all my stuff to my new building, which was a third floor walk up. They got it all done in two hours, and were incredibly helpful to me the whole morning. Carlos, Juan and Vlad did an amazing job with my move. I hurt my back recently so I really couldn't do much aside from just throwing things in tote boxes. They packed everything else, disassembled and reassembled my large furniture, and brought everything down 4 flights of stairs. I have no idea how they did 6 straight hours of intense manual labor. UPDATE: Moovers set me up with another crew of Enrique, Victor, and Jose who were everything you hope for. They quickly moved the remaining items. The company did not charge me for the second move. The company owner took my experience very seriously and talked to me for a lengthy time to understand and address the issue. I really appreciate his attitude and responsiveness. ORIGINAL REVIEW: We recently used Moovers to move from Chicago to the suburbs. This was our second time using Moovers, and I would never use them again. 3 years ago, a Moovers crew helped us move into a 3BR apartment on a 3rd floor walkup. They were amazing. It was a hot day, and they moved everything up 3 flights. Now, we needed to get things moved down. My estimate to Moovers was poor. While I could list out the furniture easily, I was horrible at estimating the boxes. That's on me. But, Moovers had recommended 8-10 hours for the move and 2 trucks. Last time we only needed 1 truck. But to be safe, I agreed to pay for an additional truck. Right off the bat, the moving crew's lead offered to wear masks, but then didn't actually want to wear them. My wife is currently battling cancer, so we've been trying to be extra careful. He gave me passive-aggressive remarks when I asked them to wear it - "we would prefer not to, but if you want we can" - again and again. So I just asked them not to wear it - especially given the stairs. But it's his attitude that I didn't care for. Then the move started. They were efficient like any other crew. There was a lot of stuff. But, almost right away I can hear a lot of swearing in Spanish. I get it - this is tough work. So I ignored it. Lots of other things happened. The movers were unhappy. I get it. But the final straw was when the lead guy asks me to get some more help for unloading (the unloading would be to a house's garage). And during the conversation there's regular passive-aggressive swearing and remarks from him -" you've already f**ed me, so it doesn't matter", "we'll be dead tomorrow anyways". I've never experienced such unprofessional behavior from anyone. And the lead mover's general grumpiness now meant that I wasn't even pointing out everything that needed to be moved. I just wanted to get away from them. So we got done packing but left behind some stuff (2 bikes, a grill, and a few boxes) They managed to pack everything in the 2 trucks in 5.5 hours. The total estimate was 8-10 hours, so I would say they were in their range. They got to the destination about 2 hours after I reached there and were able to quickly unload everything into the garage as I instructed them. I wanted them done quickly and get away from them. Everything was finally done in 9.5 hours. Their attitude had improved by the end, but even then the guy was trying to guilt me "we'll be dead tomorrow" " I wont make a family event". He planned a family event knowing he has an 8-10 hour move? Or was he BS'ing me? Again - I am 100% willing to accept my fault in the poor estimation, and the poor state of the packing. But I am not willing to accept swearing and unprofessional communication. Their attitude led me to feel so intimidated that I left things behind. I will now need to rent a UHaul or other movers to move the things left behind. Also - I did call the company and spoke to the manager on the day of the move about this. Carlos and Francisco did a fantastic job with my move. They were very professional and quick with the entire process. Unlike most places, they didn't try to do anything weird with using too much packaging They did everything they could to keep all of my things well packaged and done in the most efficient process to not take much time. They packaged my TV into a box specific for televisions ensuring that there would be no damage I would highly recommend Moovers and these two in specific. They were courteous then entire time and verified with how I wanted to have my furniture moved and assembled instead of just dumping it and leaving. They made everything easy from the initial phone call with quotes and suggestions, to arrival times. The three men that came were professional, very careful with items. They got there early and checked in with me all along the way. We hired MooversChicago for all the big stuff and a lot of medium boxes to move my brother from a high 2nd floor to another 2nd floor apartment. From the burbs to the city. From the start Moses and Karen were responsive from the office side giving us a window of 8a-9a. On the morning of the move, we got a call saying approx 8:40 and that is when the truck arrived with Daniel, Alejandro and Lino. They checked out the space and quickly wrapped furniture in shrink wrap and hauled it all down. One dresser already had a wobbly leg which was shown to us so there would not be any issues at the final destination. Finished EARLY and removed plastic wrap and took it away. Small $15 fee to use Zelle saved the trouble of carrying a bunch of cash. Highly recommend read more

The permit filing process was easy and movers showed up on time, ready to work, and all following the extra precautions for moving during Covid 19. The amount of boxes the Moovers could carry was staggering despite the two flights of stairs needed to move down. They made quick work of our packed boxes and safely wrapped all of our furniture. Best movers I've ever used! My husband and I were moving from our 2 bedroom apartment into our new house and Moovers were so easy to work with. Marcos and his crew arrived promptly at 8:00am on the dot and, in less than 6 hours, had packed everything up, driven to our house, unloaded everything, and even reassembled our furniture including all of our beds. Not only were they the most reasonable quote I received from local moving companies, but they were efficient, hard-working, and did not leave one scratch/dent on any of our furniture and paintings and did not break a single fragile item. Pretty sad about the whole ordeal I'm the big loser here not only was I harassed tormented had money stolen my crystal Gagro from my grandmother and my mother who are deceased that just breaks my heart. I know tangible items I can never get back. It's the memories. It breaks my heart and it was some girl that came to work with her boyfriend. She wasn't even employed by the company let alone licensed or bonded. Nobody told us that she didn't work for the company and she says oh let me to set up your closet and I thought oh she's a woman OK I have a big walk-in closet and it seemed weird that it was all female clothing that was stolen And it was stolen it's gone, but I keep getting tormented harassed because I refuse to pay them.
