I had the classic eggs Benedict with potatoes. The potatoes were good, the seasoning was a little uneven with some being over seasoned and some being under seasoned (the seasoning was good though). The hollandaise sauce was a little sweet and the ham portion was small. I added avocado and it was fresh and only $.75! Overall, the food was good and the service was outstanding! read more

Service was a little slow, but very friendly. Brunch was incredible, everything we ate was delicious. Would highly recommend the protein pancakes, classic and carne asada eggs benedict. The mimosa flight was also very fun and boozy, and an iced dirty chai latte to finish it off. Would absolutely visit again if we come back to PHX! read more

I work downtown and got around to visiting the newly arrived Morning Squeeze for an early lunch. Pretty solid... Sat at the bar, nice to have the open air and cool weather. The bartenders were friendly and outgoing, service was prompt. Had the biscuits/gravy, with tomato slices and eggs over easy. Food was served in about 5 minutes. Rather tasty; possibly a bit heavy on the fennel or whatever seasoning it is on the sausage gravy; but it was very good food in total. Portion size was substantial, but not overdone. I'll add that the various other food items I saw other people dining on looked good and appeared to be pretty large servings as well. Prices were pretty reasonable, I'd say right at mid-range, possibly lower end of mid-range so that's good. All in all, pretty solid shop and I'll definitely be back. I'm not 100% sure I'd call this 5 stars; but I can't see rating it being 4 stars in that there was nothing negative at all about my quick lunch visit. Clean shop, fast and friendly service, pretty tasty food served very quickly, good but not over-whelming portion size. Yeah.... Solid, quick place for lunch. read more

Normally enjoy your food but today was awful. $16 dry burrito with just eggs, potatoes & a couple of black beans was unacceptable. Your forgetting the sauce was a huge L. I waited downstairs for the sauce that i was told would be sent over & it never arrived. Only thing I hate worse than dry food is cold food, today I got both from you. Very sad read more

I was visiting Arizona for a few days and on my last day we wanted some brunch before heading back to California. This place seemed like a decent choice since they had an outside patio because we brought our dog with us. Upon entering we can see that they were busy on a Sunday afternoon and we were told that it would be at least a 30 minute wait if we wanted to be seated outside. The menu is easy to read and there were a good amount of dishes to choose from so some of the dishes we ordered were the classic Benedict, chicken and waffles, southwestern omelette and pork skillet. The food came out within 15 minutes and actually was pretty decent. I had no complaints with the food. It was just regular brunch food. I will say that the chicken was very thinly sliced and fried so you were eating mostly batter from the waffles. Just something to keep in mind for next time. Other than that, no complaints. read more

People packed in everywhere, one server short of decent service, the 38 dollar Prosecco diy mimosas consisted of Andre-level cava and two sad juices. The yogurt was okay. The food was BLAND. Cool environment, but if you want a nice meal, don't spend the money for this mediocre food. I've been to other locations and they were much better. Stopped in at this Gem this morning. Sat at bar there was a wait for a table. Bartender was quick to greet my husband and I. Ruby suggested the Espresso Martini. It was a great kick start to my morning. I asked the go to meals. I ended up getting the Cali Benedict with bacon and Ruby potatoes, husband got the chilaquiles. We were happy campers with both meals!!! (Licks lips, pats belly) Ruby carried great conversations even while making drinks and taking care of other guest. We were really impressed she took our drink order, the couple next to use food order, and a man's drink order that's walked up for some Bloody Mary's in one motion. The multitasking was impressive. Glad we stoped in this weekend l. Look forward to coming back soon. read more

Came in this morning with 3 others to have some breakfast. I dropped them off to go find parking, found a spot, downloaded the parking app, created an account and paid. All this to say, my other diners had been in there for 5-10 minutes. When I came in and joined them, they'd been seated but no one had come by to speak or get drink orders. After sitting and seeing the 4-5 employees congregate around the host booth and then again by the drink station, we decided to get up and leave. It is a random Tuesday morning so it was not busy. The staff was more concerned with talking to each other than to the patrons. On our way out one of the employees said from across the restaurant, "Bye. Have a great day." I can only assume this was to be petty since we were leaving. Extremely immature and I'm sure management would want to know how lacking the service level is here. My advice: walk across the street and eat at Ingo's instead. read more

Breakfast was not good ordered a medium steak and it came out well done. Keep in mind we waited a while for someone to take our drink order. When they finally did come by I ordered a latte that came out luke warm. Food took a while to come out only for my steak to be well done. They remade it for me and brought it home only to find out it was more well done then then the first one. Never again! read more

Off all the breakfast joints I have been to here in AZ the last 10 years, this place had the freshest of the fresh breakfast. Ordered few different items off the menu, and the Chicken in Chicken and waffles was tender, crispy on the outside the gravy and was just the right consistency, ofcourse can't forget the waffles which was the right amounts crisp and not under cooked inside. Green Chile pork skillet was really flavorful as well. Service was top notch, will definitely be looking forward to coming back here again, great ambiance, interior decor also pretty clean inside, great addition to our downtown.
