I've seen a lot about both locations and they have a pretty nice variety of menu items so we gave it a try. The restaurant is very open with high ceilings but tables are pretty close. I felt like it was kind of loud just from conversations from the tables being so close. Farmers frittata: 5/10 not so much a frittata as a scramble shaped into a circle. Gravy on top was underwhelming. Hash browns inside were undercooked and soggy. Asked for a side of salsa (was surprised to see this $1 on my bill) and it tasted like salsa verde out of a jar. Breakfast burrito: 6.5/10 pretty average, like my frittata wrapped in a tortilla. Came with a side of crema, salsa, and hash browns. Service was quick and friendly. Got seated right away on Memorial Day around 11am. Decor and aesthetic were really cute. That said, our food was disappointingly average. We might try again to explore the rest of the menu. Lunch items looked good at other tables. But won't be rushing back. We stopped by on opening day of the restaurant, and had a great experience for it being that new. We started with the mimosa flight, as they were doing 50% off for opening weekend. They were all very tasty with mix of strawberry, orange, mango, etc. I ordered the chicken and waffles for breakfast, and it was very good. At first, I wasn't sure how to eat it with combining the chicken, waffles, syrup, and gravy, but I quickly figured it out and the meal was great. The gravy was a little watery, but it was all still good. Overall, the wait staff was very nice and helpful. It was a little hard to hear wait staff and our family because the restaurant was a little loud, but I think that was just because of the high ceilings and busy opening day. Chicken and Waffle: chicken was very tender and juicy, waffle so airy and light, topped with butter and jalapeño syrup. We ate there last weekend and it was Great! I placed an order this morning "Mother's Day " at 7:35am and the text and email came back it would be ready at 8:15am. I got there at 8:20am and they said another 15 minutes. So I waited and then they said another 20-25 minutes. Granted it was a Special Day, it was also mine. I had to be at Brownsburg leaving here at 9:00am so I told them to refund it that I don't have time to wait. They did later this afternoon but the Manager or Owner whichever he was had not apologized or anything. I guess I would have been happy with an "I am very sorry " but none. I can understand being 15-20 minutes late due to the "Day" but not 9:10am when I ordered at 7:35am. There were also a lot of door dashers, pick up people also getting told another 15-20 minutes. Located in a strip-mall; the facility is clean and well-maintained. Our server, Cassia, was friendly and attentive. This place was packed when we arrived, but we were a party of two so got in fairly quickly. Our service was great, our waiter was very friendly. I got the bad ombré omelette. It was pretty good, not terribly spicy. The side of hash browns were perfect for me, not too burnt not too soft. My partner got the farmer omelette, he's not very descriptive and said it was a happy medium. We shared a side of pancakes and they were so light and fluffy! I checked out Mornings when they 1st opened the Fishers location. Hubby and I really enjoyed our brunch. We started with the mimosa flight--- yummy. But how can you go wrong with a mimosa flight-- you can't! Lol! We got a breakfast burrito with hashbrowns and an omelet with hashbrowns. The omelet came with the choice of toast, pancakes, or an English muffin. I say go big or go home so I got the pancakes. Another excellent choice. The portions are huge so we both had leftovers. The service was good and I liked the tech they used for their reservations. You are able to monitor your place in line for example how many groups are in front of you and your estimated wait time. So when the girls suggested we go for my birthday brunch it was an easy yes! Again the food was yummy and the service was great. Finally made my way to Mornings for brunch, it's been on my list to try for awhile and it did not disappoint! We went on a Monday and it was quiet, only a few other tables there. Our server was attentive and patient with our menu questions. The carne asada skillet was probably one of the best breakfast dishes I've had! The steak was so tender and well seasoned, I'd go back for that dish every time! It comes with a side and for a few dollars for you can have a half order of their paradise French toast - DO IT!! The maple cream is like nothing I've had before, so good! The mimosa flight is a great deal, and all of the flavors were delicious. I can't wait to go back again and try the chicken and waffles. Mornings is tucked into a strip mall in the Fishers District, but its cheerful, smiling logo makes it easy to spot :). The 30-minute wait (typical for a popular brunch spot on Sunday) was worth it, considering how delicious the food was. The four mini waffles were the perfect portion size, each one of them crispy and bursting with buttermilk flavor. My sister really enjoyed her Paradise French Toast, her favorite part of the dish being the maple whipped cream. The unique confection expertly twisted the smooth vanilla taste of whipped cream with notes of syrupy maple. It was unlike anything I've tried on a French Toast before! The maple-y notes of the whipped cream were prevalent but not overpowering, almost like a built-in drizzle of syrup. Also, the hash browns were buttery, salty, and fried to perfection. Went here for Father's Day brunch. Great food! great service! Love that pancakes are considered a bread side! So not only do you get home fries or hasbrowns as your normal side, but pancakes are considered a bread side. Most brunch places do not offer this. Starting off bad. The seating was right by the door and its 10 degrees utside is not a good idea. We asked for different seating and was told we would go to the bottom of the list. recently moved back to indy after a few long years away and saw this restaurant have good reviews and mentions on a Facebook post so I was thrilled to try it out. to my luck this place was HORRIBLE. food was so bland and flavorless. my poached eggs weren't cooked the right way on my Benedict. over all the taste just wasn't there for anything my group of 4 ordered. very disappointed in the service as well. server wasn't attentive or friendly. will definitely not recommend this place. I will keep trying to look for a good spot in the area. I was surprised to see their menu was very very similar to "yolk" .I frequently went there when I would make my way back to visit but wanted to try something new . I just got asked to leave. My food was cold. There were 3 tables with patrons & several servers. While they were re-heating the hollandaise sauce, the hostess who sat me got her food. The hostess & host sat directly in front of me eating their breakfast. It rubbed me the wrong way having had to wait double time for the eggs. The one thing keeping this from being a 5-star review is that the place is LOUD. Was there for brunch @ 10:30 on a Wednesday. Good crowd. But it's basically just one big room with a high ceiling. You get that many people in there all talking and you can barely hear yourself think above the din. They might want to consider some fabric to hang from the ceiling or something on the walls. Very hard to carry on a conversation with fellow diners. Otherwise, the food was good. Big portions (I had the Farmers Omelett). And bottomless cup of coffee. Reasonable prices.
