For the second time, this company was assigned to my warranty claim for my HVAC that was acting up and for the second time, I have had to call and have the case re-assigned. This time however, my AC went from making a concerning noise to not working at all while waiting for these clowns to show, on a 100 degree day, with salt water fish tanks in the house. The owner(?) who answers the phone (assuming you can get a human to respond) is super short and rude and acts as though your (return) call is the biggest pain in his ass at the moment. The technician that finally showed up informed me if it was 90 outside, it would be 200 in the attic, so they would need to schedule a morning appointment...it's been a week and nothing. My air conditioner stopped working on 7/30 in 100+ degree weather & my home warranty assigned me with Morrow on 8/2. Then I read all the bad reviews about them on here, panicked & tried to change contractors, but my home warranty said no - they had 24 hours to respond. However, I didn't have to wait very long. I called Morrow on 8/2, their machine said they were busy & short-staffed, so left a voicemail. Soon afterward I got a text & we arranged for them to come in 2 days, on 8/4. They were on time & assessed the issue - I needed new parts. Morrow sent in the request on the spot for parts to home warranty. I called home warranty that same day 8/4 to check on the timing & they said they got the report from Morrow & were working on getting my parts ordered. After 2 weeks I learned home warranty dropped the ball & never ordered the parts as they were "deciding" if they should order a whole new A/C unit or not. Finally, on 8/30 home warranty let me know parts were ready (yes it took a month to get the parts & it was a miserable hot, smokey month) & that same day Morrow reached out to me that my parts were in. Morrow was supposed to fix it on 8/31 but it was very hot & my attic was probably 200 degrees & it was over an hour of work. He explained the situation to me & I agreed he should come back when it was cooler. So they came back 9/2 since 9/1 wouldn't work for me. They fixed it on 9/2 and arrived in the timeframe window & my A/C has been working better than before (as of 9/5 no complaints!). I'm so thankful for Morrow. I always had good interactions with the Morrow repairman. He arrived in the quoted timeframe, didn't leave a mess, he was friendly & never rude. He was kind to my dog who was very excited to see him. He answered my questions & didn't seem frustrated or annoyed. He also let me know what was wrong, what parts were replaced & some details I needed to know. Overall, a good experience from Morrow & would use them again - but hoping my a/c never breaks again. read more

Terrible experience from beginning to end. Our AC wasn't blowing cold air, so we contacted our home warranty company. They set us up with Morrow. After a few weeks we were finally able to schedule a day for them to come out, a couple of weeks later. Once they did come out, the AC did work. Cue the ticking sound and our heater not working. We called another company to come and check it out, and turns out the fan was not re-installed properly and was hitting another part of the unit, causing a bent fan. Insulation was not correctly installed with a myriad of other oversights. Cue a small fire in the electrical box. I have no idea how service could be so absolute poor from beginning to end. I really hope people look up reviews of this company before agreeing to use what your home warranty sends out, it's just not worth it to save a few bucks initially, when you'll be out much more money in the end to get somebody to actually come out and do things right. The person was rude when he did the scheduling. I told him i didn't work from home and please had the technician to call me 30 mins before arrival. His response was he didn't know about that, the guys were busy. The technician arrived way earlier than the scheduled time and I had to change my originally plan and dropped everything to rush home. He said the ac had no problem and would put in an electrician request. The total time took only 20 mins. AC stopped working 2 mins right after he left and no answered when i called him immediately. Voicemail left and no return call. I restarted the breaker several times and ac was still not working. Called home warranty to follow up 4 days after and no electrician request submitted and what the report said was completely different from what the technician told me on that day. Tried to call this company to follow up and no answered. This company just tries to get the money and does no work. Unethical and illegal. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Our heating unit stopped working in March 2021, they came out per our home warranty company. It was suggested that the unit be replaced. The report was written and sent in within 24 hours. After a couple weeks of not hearing from Morrow I called them left a message waited a couple days called a second time waited another couple days with no return call. Called the warranty company, long story short the unit was delivered but refused by them stating it looked like a hammer had been taken to it. So I asked if he sent in proof of the damage. Nope he didn't and according to first American if they refuse a delivery pictures need to be sent in. So another unit was ordered as a Stat delivery since it has now been well over 2 months with no heater. Still did not hear from them so I called the warranty place and was told the company delivering it has been trying to reach him for 2 weeks to set up a delivery but morrow won't get back to them. I am currently sitting at almost 3 months with no heater and morrow will not return my calls and everytime I call the warranty they leave messages for him and email him with no success. I requested a new company install it but the only way that can happen is if I start all over again. Bottom line stay away from Morrow heating and air and first american home warranty. Neither care about their customers, neither return messages and neither communicate. HORRIBLE read more

I have taken this company twice. The result has been awful. The plane came late (around 30 min) and we went on board. After 1 hour waiting without air conditioner inside the plane (the came late so they could not get any landing track in Lisbon) we could finally take off. I had a service call for my furnace under a home warranty. The technician came out after waiting 4 days without heat. He said it was the thermostat was only here about 10 minutes, the heat worked for a few hours then went off again. I called several times in the past 3 days stating that I am a 77 year old woman and I needed to get my heat back on. Today, Saturday they called me back yelling who did I think I was, princess Diana or someone, how rude I was for threatening to turn them into the better business bureau, that they get over 50 service calls from this Home Warranty , First American Home Warranty and they get to them when they can. I can understand having to wait for service but to call someone and scream and berate them is unprofessional, All i wanted for 3 days was a call back and that's what I got., screaming insults. read more

This place was absolutely terrible. We were assigned to go through them through our home warranty company. They got here and saw there was nothing wrong with our unit. Later that night, we saw that there was still something wrong with it. They got called back and found the problem. Said they needed to order a part. Okay great. After countless calls with no call backs for a whole month my home warranty company finally transferred our request to another company. Thank goodness! On the phone he told me he didnt have time to deal with me because he was very busy. All I was asking for was an update and he could never give that to me. Called Morrow Heating and they were there within an hour. immediately diagnosed the problem and found a part to use until the new part could be found. The cost was so reasonable. Now years later, the code enforcement agency wants to fine the homeowner for a job they never completed! Can't get a hold of this company as the number has been disconnected. They are working a claim for me through my home warranty as we just bought a house and found out the day we moved in (July 2nd) that the AC was broken. This company came out last Tuesday and has not submitted their report to my home warranty company they are not returning my phone calls or those of the warranty company. It's going on a week since they came out and did their inspection and they have completely dropped the ball as far as getting the report sent out so we can continue with the repairs. They came out to see why my AC wasn't working in May, in Redding California. On June 23, 2020 a contractor came to my home and worked on my air conditioner The young man got my air conditioner to work okay I paid the young man $75.00 in cash I had to ask for a receipt because the guy wasn't going to give me one. The young man went out to his vehicle and came in with $75.00 paid on cash but I don't know if the young man ever turned in the money because I've been going back and forth with my home warranty company about the payment. I've been calling the company leaving messages and so have my home warranty company. I shouldn't have to pay twice for some6that I've paid once for already. read more

We had Morrow come out to our house, as several other reviews said through our home warranty. Impossible to get ahold of. Clearly no idea what they are doing. They came out to our house twice with no luck fixing the problem which our new contractor said was an obvious fix and should have been caught the first time they were out there. After the second time they came out they ghosted us and were unreachable. They also never filed a report which ultimately drug out the process for weeks. Our home warranty would call Ed, and Ed would say he'd call me by the end of the day, he never called. It happened 3 days in a row after 3 weeks of waiting for a problem that should have been fixed the very first appointment. It's 100+ degrees outside and 96 in my house, because of them our air is STILL not fixed and it's been a month since they came out the first time. DO NOT USE THEM, REFUSE THEM BY HOME WARRANTY. Our home warranty contracted this company to come out to look at our heating unit. They were here approximately 15 min and stated they would have to report to the warranty what they found. A week later we had heard nothing so I called the warranty company to see what they were going to do. They said that Morrow had not been in contact with them. I then called Morrow myself and was told by the owner that yes they had and he would check when he got back into the office. No response from him so I then called the warranty company who called the company while I was on hold and they said that our unit needed to be replaced, (the service call was 15 min) 3 weeks later from the date that this company came to my property absolutely nothing has been done because they are still working on a bid. It does not take 3 weeks to do a bid unless you are unqualified to do one It has been 29 degrees in our area and we only have a small space heater. This place is obviously not capable of running a business and has no concern about their reputation. I would NOT recommend this place for anything. 100% recommend Morrow. I had another company come and tell me my 4 ton combined heating/air (Packaged unit) was broken and was unrepairable; then quoted 9 grand to replace the system. Morrow came out, did a proper pressure test and found that it was just low on freon (the old-out-of-date freon). They topped it off, tested, cleaned, and serviced the unit timely all for a very fair price. After having settled with window units to get through last summer, I only wish I called Morrow sooner! read more

If your home warranty company wants to schedule Morrow for your HVAC issue, tell them you want another company. Apparently, he contracted with First American Home Warranty, but doesn't really want to do the job, as they don't pay as much as private pay. He came out to check on an intermittent problem, didn't do anything but walk around noticing that on that day the system was working well. I have not heard back from him after First American called him and asked him to come back and actually diagnose and test our system. The WORST! How much work do I have to miss waiting for these jerks? My warranty people wanted me to use this company but they are just going to have to pick someone else. My grandma set the first appointment to meet with them and they did not show up or call. When I called to see what happened the owner blamed my grandma for the mistake. They also seemed confused about what it was I needed the to do. So I reschedule and get promised I am first on the list for that day but they didn't show until almost noon because they went to paradise first. They told me that they would bring the thermostat and I was very clear about what i needed. I told them I needed to be able to control the temp when i was away from home. I even had a long conversation with the owner telling me a story about turning the thermostat on before he got back to his family home and how much it impressed his dad. But the piecve of crap they installed works on wifi only so I can not change the temp when I am away from home and I cant even see what temperature it actually is in the house. If it is off no temperature is displayed if it is on it tells me the temp I have it set for not what is actually happening in my home. Considering the fact that my self and my grandma were both clear with them that the unit overheats and the coils freeze up and I need to monitor it so y dogs dont die of a heat stroke (again something made very clear to the company) this thermostat is worthless. Then when I am not working they switch out a little magnet on the front that said what the thermostat brand is to one that has their company name on. My central heating system was working unreliably. After several costly service calls with a Morrow competitor and poor results I decided to replace the unit and obtain four bids. Not only was Morrow the lowest cost he diagnosed the issue with my unit quickly and offered less expensive alternatives. I elected to replace the unit. The work was completed flawlessly and passed inspection without a hitch. Ed Morrow is an honest businessman and an excellent technician. Further he is customer-oriented. Some of the contractors that do this type of work simply do not care--these folks do. Do yourself a favor and call Morrow first, you will be glad that you did. read more

I would give negative stars if I could. I contacted my home warranty company on August 4 they contracted with Morrow. I did not receive a call from this contractor until the day after I recontacted my warranty company on August 9. They then sent out out a technician on the 13th he spent all of 15 minutes at my house in which time he managed to break my dog in yard sign with his ladder and then climb down to tell me my compressor was cracked and it would be cheaper to just get a whole new unit, but he would have to submit it to my warranty company for review. 2 days later I still hadn't heard anything so I phoned Morrow I actually got an answer but was told oh yeah there was something I needed to call your insurance company about but I don't have your paperwork in front of me. I told him you said my compressor was cracked and I need a new unit that's what you were supposed to call them about. He said that might be right but I'll have to check the paperwork. I will have an answer for you on Monday by 2:00 on Monday I still hadn't heard anything so I phoned Morrow only to get the same voicemail I'm overwhelmed and under staffed leave a message and I'll get back to you some time. Tuesday I phoned my warranty company and said it's time to change contractors they said we will call him and then he has 24 hours to respond so time past he didn't respond as he doesn't respond to any of his clients so they assigned a new contractor which was Salyers heating and air. They were able to finally come out today August 25 they were here for 1.5 hours realized it was just a hole in my Freon line they welded it recharged the system and were on there way. So that being said not only is this guy a piece of garbage business man but he is also a crook and deserves his business license to be revoked he made me wait 21 days in Northern CA heat for another company to fix my problem in an hour and a half. Shame on you Morrow. The better business will be contacted you piece of crooked garbage. read more
