My only complaint was during Mother's Day they added some folding tables to accommodate different party sizes, and our table was a little rickety and sloped. 1 Star This was one of the strangest restaurant experiences I've had in a long time. I'm staying at the Hilton nearby on vacation and walked over to Morton's to order a burger to go. I was dressed casually in shorts, a T-shirt, and Crocs because, well, I'm on vacation near Disneyland. When I arrived, I told the hostess I'd like to order a burger to go. She directed me to an empty bar, where I waited about 7-8 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me. When someone finally came over, I asked to order the burger to go. The burger is listed online and can be ordered through their online ordering system, so I didn't think it would be an issue. Instead, I was told I couldn't order it to go because it was a bar item. I said that was fine and I'd happily sit at the bar and eat it there if necessary. Then it turned into a discussion about getting manager approval and became this awkward, uncomfortable ordeal over a simple burger order. As a chef who has worked in hospitality for years, including at high-end restaurants like Merriman's and Keoki's Paradise in Kauai, I've never experienced anything quite like this. I wasn't asking for special treatment, a discount, or anything complicated. I just wanted to order a burger. What makes it even stranger is that I later pulled up the online ordering system and could have ordered the exact same burger for pickup without speaking to anyone. The online price was actually lower than what I ultimately paid in person. Despite being frustrated, I still left a tip. The burger itself was decent, but that's not really the point. The entire interaction made me feel unwelcome, judged, and like I was somehow inconveniencing the staff simply by trying to place an order. We got a seated at a cutely decorated table and were serviced by Winter For dinner we ordered bone in and center cut ribeyes with truffled creamed corn, smoked gouda and bacon au gratin potatoes, and charred broccolini. Sides I felt were just ok this time I could have done without the broccolini but Hubby thought it was good. He also got garlic butter to add to his steak and said it was good. Went to Morton's with my girlfriend and her meetup group, total of 9 of us. It was an early Valentines day dinner with 5PM reservations. Probably not the best choice of days. Morton's was packed, every table full and people in the lobby and front waiting for their chance to sit down. I suspect that lead to the slow service from the kitchen. We ordered drinks, enjoyed the bread, and our server took our dinner orders. Once we ordered dinner our appetizers and salads came out fairly soon. But the main courses were very slow. The food tasted good and the steaks were prepared to order. The portions were generous, especially the baked potato that my girlfriend and I shared, it was huge, seriously the biggest potato I have ever seen. Most of us finished with desserts. The creme brulee was fantastic. Unfortunately the 3 hours validation for our self parking was going to time out so I had to get the car before the server had picked up our check. BTW, pro tip, get gift cards from Sam's club or Costco before you visit, $100 value gift cards are usually $80, save yourself 20% by planning ahead. Morton's can be pricey, my girlfriend and I had dinner, starters, 2 sodas, and split the baked potato. Our total came to $270 before tip. So gift cards saved us $40 which is almost like getting dinner on sale imo. We will return, but probably not on a holiday. Great spot for business meetings or special celebrations. We made a reservation a couple of days in advance, and our table was ready right on time. We were seated quickly. Our server, Chris was friendly, attentive and really knew the menu. He walked us through the options and gave us helpful recommendations. Food was really good. We had the jumbo shrimp cocktail, filet mignon, Brussel sprouts, lobster Mac and cheese and sour cream mashed potatoes. Everything was delicious but the lobster Mac and cheese was my favorite. We've been coming here since they first opened, and it remains our favorite steakhouse. One thing that has always impressed us is how many of the servers and management team have been here from the beginning. That kind of longevity says a lot about the restaurant and the people who run it. The service is consistently friendly, welcoming, and professional. We're always greeted warmly, and it's nice to see so many familiar faces year after year. The food is excellent, however new/changing seasonal offerings would be refreshing and get us in there more often. Overall though, it's the outstanding staff and hospitality that keep us coming back. Came here for Christmas Day and for sure got a diner and a show included! This is an experience that will remain in my memories wishing to have recorded some of it. My review is based on this experience, how the restaurant handled the aftermath and a second experience later on. There is self parking nearby but for the price you might as well do their valet and it's more convenient. They do have about 2 handicap spots on the front. We usually have reservations when we visit. The are always very friendly at check in and it takes only a few mins max 10 to get seated after checking in. They have an upscale ambiance that is family friendly, but they have very little noise. If your kids cannot stay still, please refrain to bring them. Given the proximity to Disney this location is more relaxed with their dress code and rules than other Morton's locations. The food is always delicious here! The wedge salad at this location has hard boiled eggs which other locations may not. We like to share a salad and they will split it for you with no extra charge which is great!I personally really enjoyed the Cajun style steak it was delicious! It is not too spicy but it has more flavour to it than the traditional steaks. I love their special chocolate cake but it is a big shareable portion! For the sides, I feel like the loaded baked potato is underrated. It is a huge portion that idk where they find these giant potatoes and it is delicious. Their drinks are good, they are a good size for the price and they for sure don't skimp on the alcohol. They have a large wine menu but also offer $35 corkage fee if you BYO. On Christmas Day we decided to come here with my parents visiting from abroad and my bfs mom. There was a table that was completely out of control and disrupting all the guests around them. I think the restaurant could've handled it better by asking them all to leave, but that wasn't the case and I'm sure it's hard to train for such a situation. The restaurant did reach out later and apologized for the experience. Because of this event, I had to sed back a steak that was well done vs the medium rare I requested and the left overs of my bfs mom were lost in the moment. The second tomahawk they brought was perfectly cooked and I really enjoyed it. The second time we visited, it was a completely different experience with outstanding service and perfectly cooked meat. We were able to try their holiday special Japanese A5 Wagyu, and it was absolutely phenomenal and lived up to every bit of the hype. The service was outstanding, attentive without being overbearing, and made the whole meal feel special and relaxed at the same time. The restaurant itself is classy but comfortable, which is exactly what you want for a long, celebratory dinner. The location is also very convenient, sitting right between Disneyland parking and the convention center, which made getting there easy. From the moment you walk in, the darker ambience creates a cozy, intimate vibe--definitely the kind of place that feels right for a date night, a special celebration, or even a treat-yourself evening. It's elegant without being stuffy, and the service was attentive and kind throughout our visit. Valet parking is $10, which you can add to your bill or pay in cash at the end. I chose to put it on my card, which worked fine, but it did mean I missed out on tipping the valet directly something to keep in mind. Normally, I'm a two-cocktail person, but this time I tried just one: the Lavender Cosmo. It was smooth, balanced, and visually pretty, but nothing that really wowed me. If I go back, I'll stick with my tried-and-true choice, the Lemon Drop. That said, the cocktail menu is well thought out, and I appreciated the variety. Any restaurant that starts you off with complimentary bread gets instant points from me. Morton's serves an Egg & Onion Loaf, and it was warm, soft, and baked perfectly with just the right amount of onion flavor. My only wish? That they pre-cut it in the back, because cutting bread with a steak knife at the table isn't the smoothest experience. If you try one starter here, make it the Jumbo Crab Cake. The crab cake itself was tender and flavorful, but the sauce stole the show--it was tangy, buttery, and tied the whole dish together beautifully. Even the little side salad complemented it perfectly. I went with the 14 oz. Dry-Aged Ribeye. The steak was cooked just right juicy and tender, but I found the flavor a little flat. It had that pure "cooked meat" taste, which isn't bad at all, just not as bold or seasoned as I expected from Morton's. Sautéed Brussels Sprouts with Bacon & Shallots: These weren't for me. The texture reminded me of boiled cabbage, with a few tough bits that weren't enjoyable. I've realized I'm firmly a "crispy Brussels sprouts" fan. Smoked Gouda & Bacon Au Gratin Potatoes now these were the opposite--rich, decadent, and absolutely delicious. The portion was huge (easily feeds four), and the creamy Gouda and smoky bacon made it hard to stop eating. We ended with the Morton's Hot Chocolate Cake. It's very rich, almost overwhelming if you're not a big chocolate lover. My friend adored it and said it satisfied her sweet tooth instantly. For me, it was a bit much, but I did enjoy the vanilla ice cream paired with the warm cake. Service was gracious, the atmosphere was romantic, and the food had its highs and lows. Holy Cow!! Hands down, one of the best meals I've had in my life. My wife and I came here on Saturday and our server was Enrico. We had a very nice seat that looked inward to the main seating area. Enrico had a wonderful suggestion of wine (I do not care for red wine) but helped me find one that I might enjoy. Ended up with the Justin Isosceles reserve 2021. Then it came to our meal, I had the Cajun crushed ribeye and my wife had the filet. Perfectly cooked. The ahi tuna starter was so perfect and buttery. It feels private even though it's outside. They have shade but can also pull down the shade. Heaters too when it's cold, it was so cozy. The bar is also open to grab a drink. We ordered: -$56 8 oz filet mignon - delicious cut and i loved the enhancement i added for $6 (black truffle butter) -$56 Cajun ribeye - so flavorful and yummy! -Lobster Mac and cheese - I wasn't the biggest fan. Lacked a bit of flavor and I didn't like the breadcrumbs on top -Onion rings - perfectly crisped -Truffle fries- they were yummy and they gave so much! Came here for a birthday dinner. Since we made reservations, there was virtually no wait and we were seated and ordered our food within 20 minutes. Our food arrived around 40 minutes later. The onion bread for the table was very good as well as our other appetizers, very tasty and filling so we tried to make sure we saved some of our appetite for what we ordered for dinner. My main course was the steak and it came out a little pinker that I would have liked (I had ordered medium well) but all the sides that we got made up for the slight error. My personal favorites from this meal were the meatballs, the potatoes and their truffle fries! We were greeted quickly upon arrival, and service stayed attentive throughout the night. Our server, April, was friendly, knowledgeable, and paced the meal perfectly. There was a brief, unexpected moment where a wine storage safe near the restroom opened and dropped about three bottles, which startled us, the host stand, and a nearby table. I came to Morton's Steakhouse in Anaheim for the Bubbles & Bites featuring Veuve Clicquot "Yellow Label." Unfortunately, the bartender let me know they had run out of the signature Veuve Clicquot boxes, which was a bit disappointing since that was the main draw (especially with how viral they've been). I even contacted the Santa Ana location and they were also out of the boxes. The bartender mentioned a new shipment arriving on Monday, and while they did offer a golden mini box as an alternative, it kind of defeats the purpose if you're specifically coming for the iconic Yellow Label packaging. That said, the service was still great, they were kind enough to offer me an extra complimentary glass of champagne, which I appreciated. Overall, still a solid experience with excellent service, but I highly recommend calling ahead if you're coming specifically for the Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label boxes so you're not disappointed. read more

She even recommended us her favorite dishes and popular dishes. We were constantly checked on, and our waters were filled a couple times. Food & drinks: 1) Bread & Butter (complimentary) - The bread was huge and soft! There was a generous amount of creamy butter. 2) Lobster Bisque - We started off with appetizers. The bisque was so creamy and not too thick. It had lots of flavors, but we prefer a bit more lobster bits. 3) Truffle Cream Corn - This paired deliciously with our steaks! The truffle flavor came through! The corn was sooo creamy! 4) Smoked Gouda & Bacon Au Gratin Potatoes - This also paired perfectly with our steaks! We planned our Christmas dinner at Morton's in Anaheim as part of our first ever Christmas away from home at Disney. We had picked out our meals well in advance from their online menu and couldn't wait for the experience. My 11-year-old son had chosen the smashed Wagyu beef burger and was so excited for it. When we finally got there and he had the chance to place his order, the server was like "oooohhh, sorry, that's only available on our bar menu." She noticed how disappointed he was and offered to ask her manager. Eventually, she came back and informed us bluntly that the manager had said no, which was totally not what we expected. I was also surprised and a little disappointed that the manager didn't come out to tell us themself. I'm sure they have their reasons but I'm not accustomed to spending 400 dollars on dinner and had anticipated better than average service at such an expensive establishment. Disappointing a kid at Christmas over such a trivial and understandable matter when we're about to spend so much money didn't sit well with us. In the end the food was great and everyone was happy except for my son. I got the dry aged ribeye, my wife and son the salmon, my dad got the lobster and filet Mignon. We ordered the chopped house salad, asparagus, wagyu pot stickers, potatoes au gratin and their French fries as sides. From the time we were seated to the time we left was just over two hours, but we could see how busy they were and didn't mind, and perhaps that's normal at a place like this? We tipped 75 dollars on a 400 dollar bill, which is about 19%. We were prepared to do much better being that it was Christmas but we felt they should have as well. More than $1k for 3 children and 5 adults. And we had to ask multiple times for various things, like salt and pepper, another drink because the dinner was still not ready, etc. I paid the bill and left a 5% tip. They didn't even have valet parking, we parked quite a ways away, even though we were early for our reservation. We celebrated my husband's 48th birthday at Morton's Anaheim, and it was amazing! The staff made it feel so special with a personalized card and warm service. The Bone-In Ribeye and Miso Sea Bass were cooked perfectly, and the Hot Chocolate Cake dessert was the best ending. My three oldest friends and I dined here last night on the recommendation of our foodie friend who had dined here multiple times over the years. In addition we were staying at the Hilton which is next door. We arrived early and we were seated quickly and efficiently. It was Tuesday night and the restaurant was only half full. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. The valet parking is $10 FYI. The drinks were slow to arrive, we skipped the appetizers and ordered dinner, steaks all around, and the au gratin potatoes and the sour cream whipped potatoes. We all started with salads. My wedge salad was perfect. My friends also made short work Of theirs as well. Our foodie friend ordered an amazing bottle of a burgundy/cabernet blend. The steaks arrived and they were beautiful. My rib eye was the toughest steak I have eaten in years, just awful. As the waiter cleared, I alerted him and he apologized. Then he wouldn't look at me for the rest of the evening. The bread was adequate, my key lime pie was delicious. The final Tab was $755. Based on the cost benefit ratio I am awarding Morton's 3 stars. The steak was atrocious. The service was meh... The individual dishes were fine but not exceptional. We had a memorable evening, but I can't in good conscience recommend this place because the cost is way out of line. read more

It's always a toss up which steakhouse is better between Ruth Chris and Mortons. For years, I always enjoyed Ruth Chris more. Tonight we went to Morton's to celebrate my hubby's birthday. The ambience was classy. To my surprise, the food was really delicious! We both ordered the 12 oz Filet Mignon, one with Oscar style crab on top, the other with Garlic butter. And we ordered French Onion soup, Truffled cream corn, Smoked gouda and bacon Au Gratin potatoes, Szechuan Green Beans! We could only finished 1/3 of what we ordered. It was a really enjoyable meal, the service was great until the end. There were 3 different people came and urged us to pay. We felt like they just want us to pay and free up a table for them. We felt rushed. That's the only reason why we did not give it a 5 star. read more

We had one of the best anniversary experiences at Morton's The Steakhouse in Anaheim Harbor. My husband made a reservation, and when we arrived, our table was beautifully prepared for our anniversary with red rose petals and a thoughtful card. It was such a wonderful and personal touch that made the evening feel extra special. Whoever the executive chef is at this location deserves major recognition! Our steaks were cooked absolutely perfectly--juicy, flavorful, and not dry at all. It's honestly hard to describe just how good they were. I've been to other Morton's locations before, but this one is the best so far. We've tried many steakhouses over the years, and while I've always been a big fan of Ruth's Chris, this experience has definitely made me rethink my favorite. Our server, Moises, was excellent. He truly understood the assignment and made sure everything was perfect throughout the evening. The manager and the entire reception team were also very welcoming and attentive. There's honestly not much more I can say other than thank you for making our anniversary so memorable--and for the complimentary dessert as well!
