Went here to celebrate our anniversary. They really have the most impeccable service. From the greet staff to the doorman to the weight staff, they are incredible. There was a nice three for $60 meal that we tried a petite fillet with shrimp, aside and a dessert. All that food for 60 bucks for this place is really good. Thankfully, it wasn't crowded and it was a Tuesday. I think a lot of tourist come here, but it's not a bad spot considering it's close to Disneyland.

This is the best steak it's flavorful tender perfectly cooked and seasoned on point the steak was cooked the way you wanted, the Mac and cheese was cheesy, creamy and amazing, the mash potatoes were better then my mom's homemade potato's. The ambience was very elegant. I really liked the trumpet chandeliers, it just felt like I was in a ballroom. It was beautiful.. The service was great. Our waiter explain the menu and the three course special he was a tentative. They made sure our waters were filled at all times. The deal they had $60 for three course meal was affordable and great. You get a salad dinner and dessert I can't wait to come back I haven't been able to stop thinking about the steak lol that's how good it was.

We recently hosted an event at Ruth's Chris Steak House, and overall, it was an amazing experience from start to finish. A huge part of that was thanks to Jordyn, who handled the event planning. She was incredibly friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout the entire process. From the initial planning stages to execution, she made everything feel seamless and truly brought our vision to life. Everything matched exactly what was discussed, which made a big difference in making the event feel special and stress-free. The food was outstanding--easily one of the highlights of the night (and worth mentioning twice). Every dish was high quality and well-prepared, and our guests couldn't stop talking about it. The decor was elegant and elevated the overall atmosphere, and the setup itself encouraged a more interactive and engaging experience for everyone attending. The staff on-site were also friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout the event, and the drinks were just as impressive as the food. Another detail we really appreciated was the flexibility of being able to drop off and store the cake the day before, which made day-of coordination much easier. There was one minor hiccup with timing. We had discussed being able to access the room at 6:00 PM to begin setup, even though the website states 6:30 PM. However, we weren't able to enter until a little after 6:30, which made things slightly rushed as guests began arriving and had to wait briefly. That said, this was a small issue in what was otherwise a fantastic experience. Overall, everything exceeded expectations, and we would absolutely host another event here again.

My upscale leisure wear. This wasn't good enough for hostess Rainiie I was better dressed than 90% of the people in the dining room.

ONE STAR -- SOLELY FOR THE HOSTESS STAND AND RAINIIE This one-star review is solely for the hostess stand and specifically Rainiie. It is not a reflection of our wonderful server, Ruben, or the manager on duty, both of whom were excellent. Unfortunately, Rainiie single-handedly turned what should have been a wonderful dinner with my son into an embarrassing and frustrating experience. Her attitude was rude, dismissive, and completely lacking in hospitality. After repeatedly ignoring my request to be seated in the main dining room, she ultimately told me I was not being seated there because of what I was wearing. I was stunned, especially considering I was dressed appropriately and observed other guests in the main dining room dressed just as casually--or more casually--than I was. When I asked Rainiie for a simple apology, she refused and instead looked at me dismissively and said, "Enjoy your meal," in a rude, sarcastic, and clearly insincere tone. Thankfully, once the manager became involved, we were immediately seated in the main dining room without issue. Our server, Ruben, was outstanding, and the manager was kind, professional, and helped salvage the evening. The food and table service were excellent.

We wanted to try a new steakhouse in celebration of my wife's birthday and were not disappointed. The restaurant itself is a breeze to drive to, not too far off of the freeway and is on the main road, but the driveway can be easy to miss if you're not looking for it. The parking for the restaurant is valet only, as it shares the parking lot with the Courtyard hotel. We arrived a bit earlier for our reservation, but were seated almost immediately, as the restaurant just opened for the evening and was just starting to fill up. The outside of the restaurant looks just as good and clean as the inside of the restaurant. there was plenty of room to move around, so you definitely don't have to worry about bumping into people or tables every time you get up. The restrooms were very clean as well. Our servers were very friendly and prompt, so we hardly waited for any beverage refills. When I made our reservations, I did indicate it was for a birthday, and they definitely took note of it. We loved the customized menu and the birthday confetti, as it made the day that much more special. The bread service is complementary and simple, so you're not getting a variety of bread that you won't eat. We tried their Passion Fruit Martini and a non-alc version of their Blueberry Mojito. The martini packed a good punch, whereas the mojito had the right amount of tartness. We chose the three course for $60 deal and ordered a New York Strip. The french onion soup was very savory and the salad was huge! Sadly, we felt that we weren't able to fully enjoy the freshness of the salad as much as we wanted. The entrees and other sides came out very shortly thereafter, and we felt a bit rushed to eat the hot foods first, pushing the appetizers to the side. The stuffed mushrooms were amazing, and are definitely good when they're nice and hot. My wife did like the brussels sprouts, but was underwhelmed by the salmon and shrimp, as she found the salmon a bit dry and the shrimp was very peppery. The New York strip was cooked to a perfect medium. Our night was rounded off with their cheesecake (option for cheesecake or creme brulee on the three for $60 menu) and in honor of the birthday their chocolate cheesecake. Both were delicious! We definitely appreciate the promptness and attention, but perhaps pump the brakes a tad bit between the starters/appetizers and the entree for full enjoyment. Family friendly, cas

My Goodness! This is the best restaurant! This was my first time here. Ambience is amazing... quiet but normal quiet. The bar is full of many options... ask for "the blue drink" is amazing, I love it! We ordered several plates such as feta cheese and artichoke dip, crab cakes, spicy shrimp, tuna steak...which none were less delicious... all were amazing flavors! Plates starts at $21 and up. We didn't order stake but I have no doubt the flavor is amazing for for sure price starts at $61 and up but believe me it's worth it! all servers were very attentive, you are the priority!! Bathroom was amazing clean! For parking there's valet for only $9.00 if I am not mistaken, and there's self parking too.You can make reservations or walk-in as well. Oh don't forget to order dessert... "the Lava Cake" won't disappoint you. I can't wait to go back !

Personal French onion soup was the perfect size.

Stopped in here to try out the $60 prefixed meal. It was a great deal. It came with an appetizer (personal French onion soup or salad) which were both delicious. Main course options included a filet and shrimp which came perfectly seared and finished well in the butter plate. Desserts were also good sizes. We were well satisfied.

Excellent dishes. We frequent the Irvine location often but decided to try a different location this evening. Such fun, festive interior decor. Service was outstanding. Brian took exceptional care of our dining experience. We shall be back.

best espresso martini of my life

Our family has been to this location on countless occasions, largely because of the wonderful service. We've come here for birthdays, holidays, anytime we want a truly incredible dining experience. Warren consistently provides a memorable time, with the most delicious espresso martini and stellar recommendations. Darren is a close second in terms of our favorite bartenders, we are always happy to see them behind the bar making the best and most innovative drinks. The food is never disappointing, with my favorite filet in SoCal and classic creamed spinach. However, the service is what keeps us coming here as opposed to other steakhouses--this is what creates loyal customers for life. P.S. Happy Birthday Darren!

first time going to this location! i love the decor inside & had a very classic feel. it matched the Disney classic aesthetic. I loved that they put little confetti & personalized the menu to say happy birthday :) we loved the $60 dinner menu option! the soup of the day was French onion & that was so delicious! our server, Richard, was super kind and helped make our experience smooth! the steak & shrimp was cooked to the right heat for medium & medium rare and overall just a great dinner to celebrate.

Came here for a date night with the hubby. 1st know that it's a high end restaurant but no black tie or formal wear is needed. They take you as you are. We ordered their 3course meal for $60 ( which is a good deal for this kind of establishment). The Cesar salad was perfect! It was not overly dressed and the small croutons made the salad pop!!' Loved it! Hubby ordered their stuffed chicken with mash potatoes. I ordered the ribeye with Brussels sprouts. We ordered a side of lobster Mac n cheese. Bread is complimentary. Their chicken is so delicious!! Tender, juicy and just perfect seasoning with butter and whatever else they put!! It melts in your mouth!! The rib eye was an extra cost but worth it!! It was a tad bit salty but not to the point where I couldn't eat it. A spritz of lemon made it perfect for my taste!! Good portion where I was only able to eat half. Tender cut and the chef made it perfect (med) to my preference. The Brussels sprouts were delicious!! It has bacon and that elevated it!! The lobster Mac was good as well! I'm not a Big Mac n cheese person but hubby loved it. Chucky lobster pieces over the top ensured you had a piece with every bite. I also ordered a lemon martini which was a hit. Not too overly strong. Everything was awesome! Great service! Total came out to about $250. Only do beware that the connected parking lot is valet only. There's no self parking nearby. Theres a parking structure but it is a walk. Overall.. enjoyed ourselves and will return.

    The crème brûlée is delicious.

We were in town for a conference, stopped in for an early dinner and went with the three-course meal. We ordered the 6 oz steak with shrimp (medium), plus sides of creamed spinach, Brussels sprouts, and a Caesar salad. The steak initially looked a bit overcooked, but it turned out to be just the seared edges--the inside was perfectly cooked and really flavorful. The Brussels sprouts were a standout, and the crème brûlée was delicious (highly recommend). Service was great--Brian was attentive, kind, and a joy throughout the meal. The manager was also welcoming, though we didn't catch his name. We wrapped it up with cappuccinos, which was the perfect ending. Would definitely come back.

    Is there free parking?

Yes. Parking Garage within a short walk to restaurant. Tipped valet when leaving as they parked the car and retrieved it upon leaving.

What's the cost of valet parking?

    10 bucks

Does their Caesar salad contain anchovies? Really wanting a true Caesar salad with anchovies. Thanks in advance.

There were no anchovies on my last Caesar salad. It had romaine hearts, romaine lettuce, shaved Parmesan, croutons, cherry tomato garnish and a creamy Caesar dressing.

Is it true there's a dress code for this restaurant to sit in main dining area?

From the restaurant: Thank you for choosing Ruth’s Chris. We promote a comfortable, family friendly and welcoming atmosphere for everyone. We ask Guests to support this atmosphere by not wearing clothing with offensive graphics or language, exposed…

Are there table seating available at the bar?

    Yes. There is.

Will you be open Christmas Day?

    Yes

Is this place kid friendly ? What's dress code?

I wouldnt take kids. Its not really kid friendly. Per their website:…

    Is this location LGBT friendly?

This is a dumb question and you should feel dumb

What are the prices of their food?

We usually go there and spend $120 for 2 person's without alcohol. Hopefully this gives you an idea. 2 pieces of steak and 2-3 sides, 2 drinks.…

How much would a bill typically be for a party of 2?

About$100 to $150 depending on what you order

    Can I wear sneakers?

Yes! I wore them! It's very casual dining

Do they sell any nonalcoholic beverages?

Yes they have water and sodas

    Are you open for dinning?

They are open for indoor and outdoor dining

We always celebrate our wedding anniversary on New Year's Eve. We are really going to miss having dinner there. Is there outside seating even for NYE?

Gotta wait to see what new orders are. Ruth Chris Anaheim has outdoor dining if rules change by then

Does every entree come with a side & if they do, how many?

Sadly, no entrees come with sides. You have to purchase separate usually $9 and up.

Can I order brussel sprouts for takeout? 😂

It's a restaurant, you can order whatever you want to go. I personally have not eaten their Brussels sprouts, but I don't see the reason why not

Do we need to pay for parking?

There's a lot for general free parking (if you happen to get a spot) otherwise, there's valet if the lot is full.

Do they do anything special for birthday like free desserts?

Yes, mention that on your online reservations and call ahead to verify.

Is the celebration surf and turf still on the menu?

It depends on the location. https://www.ruthschris.com/promotions/holiday-surf-and-turf/

Can I wear any collared shirts, along with cargo pants or carpenter/regular jeans and slip on or shoelace sport shoes?

It's relaxed because of the proximity to Disneyland.

There didn't seem to be a dress code but people were mostly dressed nice. The service was phenomenal. We were greeted by the owner himself and he made sure that we were seated and comfortable and helped us understand the menu and their wine selection. Our server was amazing as well. She was very attentive in taking our order. For food I ordered the crab cakes, the shishito peppers, and the Atlantic salmon with the chimichurri sauce on the side. I substituted the mashed potatoes for French fries because I don't eat dairy. Everything was delicious and a little different. For the shishito peppers usually these are served with a tangy sauce and the shishito peppers are blistered. With this dish the shishito peppers were still blistered but they were served on a sweet mustard sauce. For the salmon that was also delicious, served with vegetables. The French fries were great. The crab cakes were pretty good. Now if you're from Maryland you are not going to like these crab cakes, of course, because you're from crab cake capital, but for California crab cakes they were good. I would definitely come back here. I didn't get to try the wine but next time I will definitely try some of the wine and some additional food dishes.

Ever since then, it's become a regular spot for us. The owners Sonya and Mike are truly what make Colony special -- but so does their incredible staff. I can't say enough good things about Shalene, Molly, Camille... anyone we come in contact with is always so sweet and attentive. The wine selection speaks for itself. Sonya does a great job at bringing a rotating selection that we always enjoy. There is always a featured flight that, a great selection of white, red, and bubbles, and they even have some craft beers available as well. There is also a great selection of wine to purchase to take home with you after. But the food. Oh my, you don't just go to Colony for the wine because their food is absolutely FANTASTIC. You can't go wrong with their charcuterie, and let me tell you they have the BEST french fries in Orange County. The daily specials have never disappointed and on Tuesday nights you can't get one of the best grilled cheese around. We love visiting on Thursday nights because the owner Mike does live music on Thursdays where he sings and plays the guitar. This last year, my husband got us their wine membership which we have really enjoyed. Every other month you get a curated four wine selection and you get to come during a window to pick up your wine and you get two free flights to enjoy when you pick up. Pays for half the membership in itself. My only complaint? It's not closer to our house... which maybe is a good thing. And I won't deduct a star over it.

To our surprise, we were so thrilled to see Colony Wine Merchant had a good sized menu with various options to choose from: small bites, appetizers, entrees and dessert. We weren't too hungry so we opted for the daily sandwich of the day and their seasonal soup offering. Every bite from both items was enjoyed so much. The soup had the perfect consistency of creaminess followed by savory tomato flavor. It had some delicious (and I think) roasted potatoes, and the side of roasted sourdough with roasted tomatoes was perfection and really brought the dish together beautifully. The daily sandwich of the day was also fantastic! We remember biting into the sandwich and it melting in our mouth. The bread was beautifully crunchy and the meat with all its toppings inside couldn't have been any better. For our drinks, we opted to do a tasting of whites and reds. The wines were selected by our host (if I recall) and remember enjoying them all. It was fun to taste not only different varietals, but wines from different parts of the world. I was especially excited to see they had a really great selection of wine bottles to purchase in their wine shop. I happened to see one of my favorite ones there. We ended up purchasing a sparkling wine bottle at the end of our experience to have with our thanksgiving meal the following day. The service was A+. Every interaction from when we first walked in the door, being seated, being provided food recommendations, was a great experience. The ambiance is perfectly casual with a slight elevatedness to it. You don't have to wear a cocktail dress or tux to come here but it's definitely a perfect date night place or to come with friends and loved ones and enjoy a delicious meal followed by great wine. We were on a time crunch and wish we would have stayed to enjoy an actual entree but look forward to being back in town and visiting Colony Wine Merchant again.
