Went here for the chocolate martini and it was delicious! Bartender was amazing. We also got the chocolate cake and it was 10/10. I felt the ambiance in the bar area could have been a bit better for it being a steakhouse but I still enjoyed the experien

This review is for the promotional they were running called Bubbles and Bites in the bar. This promo had been running the month of January and The Doctor, The Queen and I decided to go down and check it out. The idea of getting a "Happy Meal" in Veuve Clicquot boxes with a glass of Veuve had me dialed in. We got there at 4 pm and as we round the corner, I saw people already walking in. So glad we go there when we did be cause it filled up very quickly and I noticed that some spots at the bar and a few tables had reserve signs on them. Morton's Bubbles & Bites promotion paired a glass of Veuve Clicquot 'Yellow Label' or a Belvedere Martini with smash burger sliders (cheddar cheese, dill pickles, 'Special Sauce,' Brioche Bun) and matchstick fries with truffle and parmesan for $29. When you think about what a glass of Veuve cost, this was a steal as far as I was concerned. The burgers were their smash burgers and they were very good. I was happy to see the size of them, as along with the fries, it was easily a light dinner. As we didn't know at the time what we would be getting in terms of the portion, we also order the short rib tacos (braised short ribs, pickled red onion, sliced avocado, chipotle mayonnaise). The Happy Meals came out in these very cute Veuve Yellow boxes for the burgers and a fry holder for the fries. Both containers were placed on what looked like a charging plate with a serving of ketchup for the fries (nope nope nope). The burger, fries and tacos were delish and hit the spot for a light dinner. The short rib meat on the tacos was very tender and I loved the slice of fresh avocado. And there is no need to discuss how lovely the Veuve was as that goes without saying. Despite it being a full house at the bar, Emma (bartender) was totally on point in getting drinks and taking orders. She was not only working the bar, she was working the tables in the bar area as well. As it got closer to 5:30 pm, more help came in, but Emma was werking that area. Not sure what role Jesse played, but assumed he was a front room person since he and another gentleman were in suits, but helping out. Emma and Jesse (excuse me if that is not how you spell your name) were very responsive in taking care of us. We got to chat with Jesse a little bit about the promotion and I mentioned to him that I saw where Bubbles & Bites was unavailable in Atlanta from January 26-28. He didn't know why, I was just glad it was going strong in Chicago. Jesse mentioned that Morton's might be doing other theme related promotions like this centered around holidays, like St Pat's or Cinco de Mayo. I would definitely check those out. So glad we came out and had a great time with our Happy Meals. Looking forward to doing this promo next year. "Vive la différence"!

Ok I give! Two out of the last three Fridays in Lent is the direct result of the steakhouse's outstanding food--especially the seafood! We ordered not one but two of the Lobster & Crab Cocktail appetizers as our dinners. Succulent lump crab meat with perfectly prepared lobster. The dish comes dressed in an almost addictive Calabrian chile relish, lemon-basil aioli, with romaine lettuce underneath, Calabrian chile oil, and basil encircling the dish--a wonderfully placed drizzle of the delectable sauce.

Pretty great happy hour menu!! And an even better fun little Veuve girl dinner! For $29 you get truffle fries, two sliders ( chicken or burgers) and a glass of Veuve! I really enjoyed the menu and the ambiance was very classy! They do have a business casual dress code but I think that's a little lax by the bar! Service was attentive and quick! The food also came out quick! I think this is a great deal!

I went here for the bites and bubbles, $29.00 special. I ordered the chicken sliders and the dirty Martini. The sliders are very small. I had to add to my order and got the chicken ceasar salad. The food was food but not filling. The servers were great, I encourage early arrival because it gets crowded. ‍ I added the blackberry margarita, tasty.

The atmosphere was amazing. The food was disappointing for their Chateaubriand. It was $179 for two. It was served plain without sauce and the sides were extra money. Their regular steaks on special were much better on previous times.

We try to go here to celebrate a birthday or milestone next week! We had a great waiter named Ruben! He was professional, but also humorous. Made the dinner a great time! He was attentive and on point! The ambience was nice but a little loud this time

Everything was truly fabulous. My wife and I visited for a jazz, wine, and dine weekend. It's hard to imagine going to Chicago and not experiencing Arnie Morton's of Chicago Steakhouse, which happens to be our favorite. Our visit to Morton's on Wacker Street on a beautiful, clear day in Chicago was excellent. The ambiance was wonderful, and the service provided by Meli was exceptional. She offered us excellent recommendations. The apricot jam with my Cajun ribeye was particularly delightful, offering a pleasant change for the palate. Meli was a charming addition to our date night. Regarding the Cajun ribeye, it was incredible. The butter was envious as I effortlessly cut through this prime beef. It was marinated to perfection and served with care. It was truly delicious. The old-fashioned cocktails and red wine concluded our date weekend in a very stylish manner.

Restaurant Week Part 3! My friend Maria and I chose this restaurant because it had one of the biggest selections of food for each course. Everything was super tasty and unique, even the fresh, and HUGE baked bread they give you. Our server was amazing, and she was cracking jokes with us the whole time. Definitely ask for Selena, but the ambiance here is amazing. So relaxed and the decor is great Filet Mignon - 9.3/10, this was one of the best filet mignon I've ever had and I wish I could have another while writing this haha. They gave the option to double the size for an extra $15, but I wasn't that hungry. Juicy, nice crust, and a hint of herbs Wagyu Meatball - 9/10, this had a few components but I wasn't very satisfied. It came with marinara sauce, pesto sauce, and ricotta cheese. Normally I would eat these separately but it was the perfect amount of each. Truffled Cream Corn - 8/10, expected it to be more stuck together, but the truffle flavor really shines through. Almost chose the onion wrings but I'm glad I stuck with this. Crème Brûlée - 8.5/10, I've only had one better than this and I wish it had a little more fruit on it. Super creamy and a great glass like cover.

We stopped here on Christmas Day without any reservation. The restaurant was very busy but we found a spot at the bar and were happy to eat there. I ordered a glass of wine and my other half ordered an old fashioned (which he said was very good). I had the lobster ravioli which was amazing, probably the best version of this type of dish I have had. The portion was huge and there was a good amount of lobster, I felt very full after eating this. My partner had the NY Strip which was perfectly cooked and seasoned. He ordered the green beans as his side which were tasty, albeit a little different with the Szechuan seasoning. After our main courses we were too full to order desserts. We did order the Morton coffees though which were good (and very boozy). Bill came to about $100 a head (including tax and tip) which we didn't think was too bad given the quality of the food. We would definitely return here if we are in the area.

I came here for lunch for a private luncheon with My little for Big Brother Big Sister Program. the staff was very accommodating to our special luncheon that we had. I enjoyed all the food that I got the salmon was delicious and the Keylime pie was also very tasty. They had no issues accommodating us when My little wanted to trade in her salad for soup because we had a preset menu.

That said, this place just completely disappointed. The food was just not good. I had the burger sliders and for $9 a piece you expect them to be something special. They were not. Overcooked with a little sauce and two pickles slapped on the bun with a tiny little dab of fake cheese - it was like a bad and way more expensive version of McDonald's. The onion rings were the frozen crumbly kind not the fresh beer battered kind and so that's a big "no!" for me. The dipping sauce was okay. Service was friendly and I think the guy was new but it wasn't good enough for a place like that at the top of the building. There were two servers so I'm guessing one was training maybe. They didn't make it to my table to check to see if everything was okay while I was eating and it even took them a while to notice that I was done eating. It was cooked well and I really liked the combination of pickled onion and caramelized onion. I didn't see it until later but you can add bacon. As much as I loved this burger, bacon would totally take it up a notch! I started chatting with the bartender about their different beers and decided to have the Super Melodious Jalapeño Maibock with the burger. It's soooo different, but in a good way. Now the honest part, because I think it helps to know before you walk in. We came in hunting for an old Dublin snug, the dark wood and low ceiling and worn brass kind of place, and D4 is not that. To be fair to them, they never claimed to be. The room is modeled after a Dublin townhome, bright and open, traditional details sitting alongside modern ones, with two fireplaces and a garden patio out back. It is handsome and it is comfortable, and it also reads more American pub than Irish local. If you were hoping to feel like you ducked in off a rainy side street in Ballsbridge, set your expectations accordingly. The room was the one letdown of our night. The kitchen made up the ground. The fish and chips are enormous, easily enough for two, beer battered Icelandic cod that arrived crisp and clean instead of heavy and slick, which is a lot harder to pull off than it looks. Add the shoestring fries with truffle aioli on the side. Worth knowing, and it earns them some credit on the authenticity question: this is a neighborhood-owned place that has been on Ohio Street since 2007, and co-owner Brendan McNeill is actually from Ballsbridge, right inside the Dublin 4 postcode the name comes from. Four stars. If you want atmosphere that feels imported from Ireland, keep looking. If you want a perfect pint of Guinness and a genuinely good plate of fish and chips in Streeterville, this will take good care of you.
